Dont like 9th verry much. Seems my Lotus tuning is just getting worse and worse. Think i have to start from scratch.
 
I mighta bumped GTP_Sjaak at the hairpin... I felt nothing, gave plenty of room.. but he mighta got one of those 'ramming penalties'. He and TallyHo were having a good battle. So I took up the gauntlet.. and got beaten ! nice tho.

7 out of eight of my races have ended with disconnected from server.. on the last lap...... whats going on ??

thats now eight out of 9

edit: 12 races, 10 failed

Anyone wanna help recommend a car for me?

Ive have practice with GTR, Tuned Vette and the S2000

problem for me is that they all can do a 2:00 for me...
Problems with each car...
GTR - Aerodynamics slower entrance
Vette - too much wheelspin during exits kill my corners and times...
S2000 - Some wheelspin slower than the rest (straights)

I was thinking of the Lotus but I have no expierience on it...
Oh all aids are off...is the a point of me turning on ASM?

Anyone want to help? :indiff:

its probably the host turning off his ps3 or Internet connection. Can't take losing I bet.
 
sorry to anyone I caused problems in T1 throughout the evening.. lag is killing me & my driving also doesn't help but hopefully it will change as soon as possible :)
 
I wondered what happened at that hairpin with GTP_Sjaak. I thought I might have forced him out with my line. He was fast and I couldn't get by him before that.

Hopefully it wasn't my fault.

Are we still going to do the F430 thing?

I just can't get a decent start, as soon as I hit T1 and mayhem happens I end up usually dead last and can't completely recover after that:ouch:. Not bad races though just a little hectic.

Na you were clear... i had a nose in front at the hairpin.. i swung wide.. Sjaak swung tight.. then.. he disappeared in mirrors..

Sorry to mr_volcano for screwing up after you waited for me. I braked a little later cause I thought you were gonna stay on the inside at the chicane and I could come next to you, but you came back to the racing line and I had to go onto the grass to avoid you. not really your fault, I misjudged it.:ouch:

Anyway, I had fun after that. I went off a couple of time more, you went off aswell, but there were some good parts aswell.:sly:

Terrific. Default settings R3 tires and 2 minutes after the quarters, right?

I mis-read the earlier post and was tuning my F430 for a while.

yeah, the starts can be a bit of a mess. But good once your through 3 or 5 corners, you can start laying down a decent pace, and then see how many fast guys come through who got caught in the tangle. :) overall its pretty good racing no?

Right, but that only gives it 695 pp. 700pp is the limit for this one. Or shall we leave it at 695?
 
anyone else want to join in the Ferrari 430 at xx02 then your welcome. Standard settings except R3 tyres and 700pp. Xx02,xx17xx32xx47.
 
Racer lp: I felt like a blocker on the chicane! Should have stock to inside. My foult! Nice racing you anyway:)
 
should we pull over on the starting line to let the faster cars pass or see how it goes. If there's to much punting then the next races we will pull over and then say after 30 seconds start racing.
 
Did a couple of practice laps with it, i'm losing it at almost every corner, just so you know. :ouch:
 
Nice going volcano. Had some nice braking battle in the last hairpin. ;)

Gotta go now though. :/
 
30 seconds is fine for me. Problem is I can lap 2:03 in this car with 700pp and default setup so it's even competative against slower 750pp cars.
