This race is getting annoying already & Ive only played it about 5 times. Twice I've had the host quit the race, 4 times I've been hit off at the first corner when I've tried to be careful, get out of other racer's way and take it easy but people just plow right in hitting you & every race I've encountered idiot punters who instead of waiting for the right opportunity to pass, think anywhere is acceptable and use you as their brakes.
Its obvious some don't know the circuit & the passing points well at all. A number of drivers try to go 2 or 3 wide through 130R. Most good drivers know you need a lot of skill to pull that off but no, these guys try & take you on, either completely hitting you straight off or at the minimum, run you massively wide.
Then in one race I had a guy weave all over the track on both the front & back straights over I think it was 7th position. Geez. And of course as i tried to get past, wack, he hits me, i go spinning off & he continues fine and finishes ahead.
Frustrating stuff, but I'll keep trying.
Oh & does anyone have tips for turn 1 lap 1. I know back at Fiji it was go right to the inside & go slowly. Would it be the same for Suzuka or is there a different strategy to use? Thanks!
