Hell yes....Everyone mate!! :P I am testing some new tunes from my team...but I am there too...I will try not to mess with you guys racing...but it's always nice to race against you all! :P

well I think I'm done for the night... irritating myself more than anything else. Have a good one. Cheers.

good racing, sorry if I bumped anyone and big sorry if I touched MJH going into the hairpin on the final lap.

No problem, i'm sure we must have rubbed doors a few times that race.

Night all, catch you tomorrow.

Ugh Sphinx, did I get you? I tried a gutsy move, but my wheel didn't shutter, so I'm not sure if we made contact. I'm cool chillin here though. :)

Sorry to Bollocks for the 1st turn bump - thought you'd tucked behind me, and sorry to Sphinx about the contact at the hairpin - didn't realise you were there until I'd started to swing to the outside to take the turn. Thanks for waiting for me though!

GTP_Tzayad - You either need to learn some car control or calm down a bit. I've not seen such blatant and unsporting driving (or simply out of control?) from a GTPer in some time. You took me out in two races, were stopped (albeit waiting for someone you punted) at the 3rd apex of spoon when I came by (don't stop on the racing line on corner apexes please), and then you pull some bonehead move on me in the final chicane, which resulted in my little lotus spinning that viper of yours (which I pulled over and waited for the entire field to pass me because of that).

Not to mention..why are people with GTP tags still running cars under the PP limit? Particularly Div 1 drivers. Come on!

bah! 3 attempts at xx:17 / xx:32 and xx:47 and all 3 gave me the stupid 640000000 error code what the hell? restarted my router after the 32 and still no joy! this sucks :(

Looks like I will have to find the fault tomorrow, laters all enjoy the races

I admit I've been running a bit hot-headed, which has led to some erratic turns, and racing behavior on my part. I do remember my meetings with you, but I do not remember any blatant punting.

I agree with you, that I did have a lot to learn about car control, and that I can relax my lines. I'm sorry for that apex business.

But these races do not have a division label - there are drivers of all calibers. I am not perfect, and I do make some bonehead moves - which are my fault. I expect for drivers of all skill levels to be treated with respect, for their driving faults and bad line decisions. Basically, what I am saying, is that If I do make erratic movements, they are not intended to 'mess up' other people. They are the after effects of my own bad driving, which should be addressed, yes, but not attacked. I will not refrain from racing in non division specific races do to what you would call a lack of skill and/or experience.

Had I punted you, I would surely have pulled over. Maybe I drew a blank, but your description of a driver is not what I am to mirror. I am sorry for any faults in your racing that I have directly caused. I saw you wait for me after than Casio. Thank you.

I will relax, but I would appreciate less malicious comments. Such tone should be deserved for repeat offenders, which I will try very hard not to be in your case.

For the 750PP comment, who knows. Some tunes just can't reach 750 I'm sure.

Sphinx, :D nice mistake in the end. Almost got you. :)

And it was nice racing with the [DE] racer in the vette if you are watching. ;)

I think this is it for me tonight. See you tomorrow!

My car doesn't like 750. It really doesn't. It can't tolerate high horsepower. And I don't need anymore Aero. I'm good enough. There's only so much you can do with the Mine's.

Man some GTP members......argghhh!! I am not gonna say who but...if you hit me...stop the car. At least show how and why you wear the GTP TAG next to your name. That's not right!

Sphinx good race btw...that dude on the GTLM1 he just doesn't have patience....and I saw him getting in the back of you car ruining your race and almost mine!

Yeah. There has been a few cases of British Touring Car Series type racing. :scared:

hahaha

Didn't touch, i just tried to accommodate your overly daring move and ended up going wide.

I thought that was my fault. Oh well. Just don't do it again. ;)

yes, lack of concentration. :dopey:

Oh man, he was a real pain in the arse. Got me twice.

I know right....and that's because I was right there...right in your tale mate. I saw the whole thing!!! Me and you we were doing a great comeback from almost last to winning the race... I was in first place when he hit you again...then........of course just when I am about to win with 2 more laps to go....the host leaves! Man....3rd time!! U just smile not to cry! hahhaha

Wow, great race Cuda. And for all those times you blocked my passing, sometimes with contact, I was very glad to see you pulled over for 2nd. :) :) :)

Drama Kid, nice race. Got punted by al three JP s2k's. Woulda had it!!!!!

And sorry about degner. Judging by your mad skillz, it was probably my fault.

Well, since I applied to do the Vette vs. Skyline event, I better re-learn how to race at Suzuka, something I don't do for a long time now (since the GTR vs. Ferrari event, wwwaaaaaayyyyyy back when we were kids, lol) .

I think tomorrow, late night, I'll be there! 👍

Fastas was that intentional dumping the idiot in the Mines out at Dunlop...if so pat on back as i was going to do it
Mr Volcano..apologies at Degner in an earlier race, lag was extremly bad in that race, especially following Synth, if my girlfriend could shake her booty like your Vette i would have married her ages ago

Haha, ah man I'm really sorry. I've followed lagging drivers before and it's incredibly frustrating not really knowing where they are and it's almost impossible to make a clean pass. Sorry for the holdup mate, I know how keen everyone is to get up front and have a serious race.

I bet you're glad your girlfriend doesn't read these forums mate

All the best

I did turn down my pp for my 2 last races yesterday because I was sick starting 8+ behind all punters. I rarely do that...

I have to agree with that

That's because you've had too many girly drinks! Campari and coke indeed...:sly:

I was using a tune before where I wanted max aero and minimum weight but R3 tyres, because I wanted maximum maximum grip and cornering strength, with the Corvette, it meant I could not hit 750PP exactly, only 749.

I've lowered the aero now so it's allowing me to hit 750PP exactly. I'm never the kind of person to adjust my tune to get a better start, a start lasts one corner. I want a tune that suits me for the whole race. So if you ever see me below the max PP, it's entirely down to my tune.

All the best

Thats exactly what I said to the mod that told me off for running 749pp, but he still made me sit in the naughty corner for half an hour. :dunce:

But all joking aside he was dead right, one less click of aero and one click up in power didn't make the slightest difference to lap times, if anything it helped very slightly when drafting behind someone. On top of that starting mid-pack or even at the very back of the grid does make for much more fun races and knowing you won a race for the right reasons rather than simply because of starting position does make the wins more satisfying. Overtaking practice is gooooood :)

No, not even sure I made contact. The Guy/Gal was weaving all over to prevent the pass (I'm assuming it wasn't 'lag') and ran wide. (please don't let there be contrary video evidence! :nervous:).

I was in the wars for most of the evening though, finally had a half decent run with 'JOE VERSUS THE VOLCANO' guy and another elise, (green) and then some numpty ran me off the track on the last lap in a blue elise. PS back in cupboard now, probably for a week or so :grumpy:.
