Making the GTR to 750 makes me even slower in sector one
@ Fuzzy - shouldn't be your router then? I've found my PS to be very temperamental with connection too. I moved it closer to my router, well...I moved the router closer to my PS...and it has helped ten-fold.

Well - I just got in (been driving around UK all day). Read the post, fed the cat etc etc. Fired up the PS3, entered a race. Started around 8th - within 3 laps I'd fought my way to 12th. I can't believe how slow I am tonight. I'm 2 - 3 seconds/lap slower than normal.
I must be knackered or something.
Best I give up for now, maybe have another crack later.

What the hell were you doing RPM_crx?
On the straight before the hairpin in the last lap you started to drive very slowly.
Then when I wanted to overtake you on the outside at 200R you pushed me off.
To much speed wasn't an issue, since you were still driving slow.
And right after you pushed me off you resumed at your normal (high) speed.

At first time, i didn't want to race in that event because i still think it's a" second class" of Suzuka 750" expert

i have a little question,why don't u use gtlm if you think it's the fastest car ???
don't use it for lead and win....just for be manage to follow the rythm and have same fair fight we have
like i said to Rudi by mp, why event with "no gtlm" but elise allowed
both car are same speed in a global lap( around 1'56...1'57)
but if elise get luck..it manage to do 1'55'xxx ( 1'54 if very lucky
)

start clean 2 nd behind nissman and doc behind me..at the last corn nissman missed his breakes and went on grass ...and punted me ( ok no prob was race event and then he apologies by mp )
i restart and 2 drivers overtooke me ....the first one be able to pass but the second one try to put me out on straight to keep contact with his friend a the end of the of the straight i was in front of him (clio vs elise ) and keep the apex to protect my position....no matter GTP_LiBi went on grass and try to pushed me out...i try to resist but same in the second part of the corner and he pushed me out and go ...cool like nothing happened..regular way for him:tup:👍
i stopped and wait for him with 1 lap late (ghost) and do all i could to disturb his race like he did for me ( cool revenge) however , he was far from leaders so .....

i will tell you the reason why he pushed me out ...to funny:idea:
he said me that someone pushed him at start so he was angry...and didn't want loose time behind me to catch up motorius big leading and me at 3 sec ....👍👍

Sounds like standard Clio curse Thanos, its very slow in the corners compared to many cars, and it often surprises people how slow it is, they then make risky moves because they don't want to be held up, not realising the Clio will just fly back past them on the straights and then its back to square 1. It's similar to the GTR in this respect, they both achieve fast lap times through brute power despite slow cornering speed, and it oftens leaves you open to a hit from one of the max downforce tuned machines who are trying everything to get around you.

The biggest problem is the difference in lines and braking zones...not different in speed.
A lot of people in the more nimble cars don't seem to appreciate the tank-like GTR has longer stopping distances because of it's weight and later apex's because of it's drive-train.

I even raced against you and Rudi yesterday when I was using my Kingpin account, good close race with all 3 drivers for the whole 5 laps ... not bad for Vette vs GTLM I reckon and for an old dog to boot

a) hitting me around the esses and not backing off from a hit
b) hitting me again - harder with increased impatience.
Just because I managed to keep it on the black stuff and just because you didn't overtake me, in my opinion doesn't mean you can continue to try and overtake. Perhaps I'm wrong and it's ok to tackle someone from behind in football, as long as you don't hurt them.......

I can't recall hitting you through the esses, I was at least half a second behind you at all times...
Before you started to slow down I was at least 1,5 seconds behind you.
edit: what i did find weird in that race was when that guy in the yellow corvette hit an invisible obstacle at casio.
He was less than a second ahead of me and was like half a second behind you.
When he took the second turn of the chicane his car bumped something at the inside of the corner and flew to the right and was instantly ghosted.
It couldn't have been me since I was still driving behind him and he hit something in front of him.
The only thing I can think off is that he hit a lagged version of you if that is possible?
