-At approximately 4-5 years old, started w/ early GT, NFS, and EA NASCAR games
-Don't have a wheel yet! I used to play on an old logitech wheel in my PS3 days. I'm trying to save up for the Fanatec DD Pro for my PS5.
-Mostly racing games. Also a bit of 2K and FIFA, and occasionally something like Fallout or RDR2 when I'm not so busy with school.
-Talking about GT7 and sharing classic racing liveries for my GT7 cars!

after years of reading in this forum, I think it
would be nice to participate a bit.
I'm from Germany and at gtp to talk, looking for news, settings etc.
It started with gt 1, after I saved some money to buy a PS1 at the age of ten I guess. 🤔
Sadly there was no money left over for these damn expensive memory cards from Sony.
So the ps was on for days, cause I didn't want to loose my 500k racing cars. I can't remember how often I did these lincence tests...
I stopped playing it with gt 6 (cheating it with Forza)😅
Right now, I am playing on a PS4 with controller.
Because of the government at home, I am not able to place a wheel somewhere.
But I can't wait that my son is old enough to play, so I can buy him a fanatec wheel for his room😍.
What do you think is a good age for that?
Because I'm playing just after work, I would call myself an average casual player in gt. But I'm always open to meet some people here for some nice and fair racing in the evening.

Hello all! I live in the USA. Recently found the site. Recently came back to driving/racing games after many years as well. Was playing mmos for more than a decade. Despite all the negative press, I'm loving GT7. Almost every aspect; tuning, racing, customization.
Just saying hey. Looking to meet people to race with etc. Will eventually try to set up a league or something. Would love to join a compacts, gti, etc. league to start. Look forward to seeing some of ya in game

I started playing GT on a PS1 a few hair cuts ago now. I was racing karts at the time and my kids were young. I got the game for them but found that it was fun as well. My youngest child is 33yrs old I am a month off 63.
I race using a G29 and a rig I built myself (I can weld) I really want to update to a Fanatic with load cell pedals but they aren't available in New Zealand and Fanatic don't ship them here. I have a problem!!!!
I only play Gran-Turismo I don't have enough time in the day to play anything else.
I enjoy the product evaluations and information available in GTplanet so here I am

Hey guys my name is Harry found the site while searching for cars, I like to take models from different games and add personal touches they never are released to the public I add 3d suspensions, car logos,plates seat and steering wheel logos, change seats etc. So far assetto corsa has had models with the best details I'm currently trying to build a copy of my real car 2002 Subaru wrx sports wagon but I have sedan from fenders and the only sedans I've found are encrypted, I tried using fenders from cars from other games but they just don't work so if anyone can help I would appreciate it

Hello everyone, I've lurked the site for long enough that I decided to register. I found the site a while ago through Google results for old racing games, on the forums and with the Mirror Mode articles.
I live in the northeast United States and I've been playing racing games since I was a kid. My earliest was the Project Gotham Racing series, but I also enjoy a lot of other ones like Dirt Rally, Gran Turismo, Forza, Burnout, Wreckfest/Flatout...you get the idea. Don't own a wheel for any of them but I think about getting one sometimes. I'm into other genres too, usually strategy and FPS.
I usually buy stuff on discount but I took the plunge on GT7 just recently, so I'll probably be talking about it here like the rest of you.

My first racing game was the legendary NFS Carbon.
Atm I only use the Dualsense controller (it's a blast) but, maybe, in the future, I will buy a wheel.
I mainly play at Destiny 2 with my friends on the PSN. I have at least 2500hrs + lol
People who loves making liveries on Gran Turismo like myself. I think GT Sport introduced the gretest livery editor in a videogame to date. GT7 continues to expands this incredible feature even more. I can't wait to create and see what we can do! 💪

Racing games have been my #1 genre since I was an actual toddler, playing Test Drive 6 & NFS High Stakes. Still play those games to this day.

Ive been playing games since forever and racing games but the original GT was the first sim racer i played.
Ive just invested in a racing wheel setup which is something ive wanted to do for ages. Ive only had GT7 for a short while but im loving the setup so far. I just came across GTPlanet the other days whilst googling 'easiest way to get a gr4 car in gt7'
I play all sorts of games mostly console, first person, third person, action adventure, open world and Fifa.

Love the site, hope to be competitive and improve at sim racing one day, have a basic setup t150 with pro pedals, loving GT7. Would like to upgrade to Fanatec one day!

Was searching for racing games that have similar capabilities of steering, steering wheel alike, like gran turismo 7 using controller with motion control. If anyone know of any racing game that use motion control like that, please let me know.
