I'm from Italy (and sorry for my english...)

No, I have not enough space in my house, for now I'm playing with joypad

I found GT Planet here on Earth on a box that does not say "Loading please wait....." It says "Keeping an Idiot in Suspense.

I live in Fontana, Ca. 2 miles away from the California Speedway..... The Drug Alley not the famous Race Track...

I started playing Gran Turismo 2 and became an alcoholic just so I can drive a race car safely while drunk.

I do not play with a steering wheel...... I play with my Stick...... Joy Stick..... Crap this still not coming out right.

Other games I play are Naked Twister, Barbie and Ken Roleplay, and Cheap Date....... I swore wife wins every time. Dammit!

What do I want to do in the community? Solicit myself for cheap rent I guess.

Hello everyone,
  • I found GT Planet by researching how to create life like livery
  • I am from Colorado
  • I started playing racing games in 1997 with my first being Gran Turismo
  • I do not use a steering wheel but looking at getting one.
  • I pretty much enjoy playing anything but mostly just racing games
  • Meet some good people and be able to talk about cars and learn stuff from other people and what they do.

Found GT planet because of how man bugs GT7 has.

Found GT planet because of how man bugs GT7 has.
Started on GT 4, in my opinion that one is the best. However GT7 has the potential to be just as good. Unfortunately GT7 doesn’t allow offline play and is currently riddled with so many bugs making it barely useable post game.
GT7 also needs more cars that don’t get as much attention. Ex: 1970 GTO Judge, ‘74Pontiac Trans Am SD400, 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix Aerocoupe, Plymouth Barracuda ‘68 & ‘71, 1968 Shelby GT500 KR & 70 Shelby GT350, ‘74 Toyota Celica, ‘73 Mitsubishi GTO, 1968 Dodge Charger, and more .

Hello and thanx for beeing a member on GT planet.
I found GT Planet almost every time i was googling stuff about GT Sport and now when googling Gt7 😊

I love playing Gt7 as much as making livery, and i Just got started making svg files and trying to opload in the website.
I finally got downsizied a picture to about 11kb and then used a program to compressing the picture with a program to about 4.7kb and then convert it to an Svg file about 9-11kb depends on witch type i choose. Then i trying to upload on the gt7 website.

But the thing is: when i opload the picture/Svg file,it shows up on the website but wont show in the game.. In the game it says the file name and number but the picture dosent show up.. Only an empty space with the name.. And i now so confused cause it would be so Awesome to get the pic on my car!
Please anyone Who could help me??

Been playing GT since day one. Just built a sim using Next Level Racing equipment. Using the FANATEC GT DD Pro wheel. I added the boost kit and load cell pedal for now. Motion coming later. I found you by searching for a forum to figure out how to unlock the world circuit races at Fuji International. Anyone know?

I found this site on a link on Reddit
I’m from the USA
I’ve played racing games throughout my life. Mainly arcade racers.
I’m currently playing GT7 on the PS5 with a controller.
Looking to hopefully find a community of people to start a car group.

Hello all, my name is Zach and over the past half year I have taken the deep dive into the world of motor sport. I will shamefully admit that I was sucked in by the excessive drama of drive to survive, but quickly realized that motor sport on its own without any of the drama is exactly what I was looking for for entertainment.

I am heavily invested in F1 and as such, bought and played much of F1 2021. I felt like Schumacher in training until I realized that all the assists can make a snail feel quick. I was humbled by iRacing where I learned how satisfying it is to learn to put down a good lap without any assists on. Currently I am regularly switching between iRacing and Gt7 as my main games.

I currently race on a Logitech G923 without assists. I am still in the track learning phase (I can race from heart a few tracks, and corner to corner on many more). I am looking for a group to regularly race with as the public lobbies, particularly Gt7, tend to have at least one turd hellbent on ruining others races. I may not be the quickest, but I race on principals and would never cross into "dirty racing" territory.

Some background of my racing style/experience. On iRacing I mostly stick to formula vee as I am terrified of ruining other people's races still being a novice, though I do race formula Renault 2.0 and usf2000 on the weeks where I know the track particularly well. Gt7 I happily race any daily races or open lobbies as the consequences are much less harsh when a shameless R4MMER send me to the shadow realm.

Overall I'm hoping to join in some more casual to slightly competitive leagues to push my skill, and have fun against people who enjoy the sport and recognize that each race is a learning opportunity and not a life or death race to the finish.

Edit: Sorry I am not sure how I quoted the stickied post 3 times on this, and I am not sure how to remove the quotes from my reply.

Hello everyone,

My name is Jeremy Sisk from Florida (United States).
I started playing racing games on and off since cruising USA lol fell in love with Gran Turismo when I played the demo of it on a disc that had several games on it. Played all of them since!
I yet to own a wheel but I'm planning on getting one soon. (Would love some recommendations, don't really matter the cost but would like best bang for your buck.)
I play all kinds of games fps shooters, MMOs, RPGs (final fantasy and Chrono trigger was chefs kiss), horror games... Most genes.
And finally, I would love to learn more about setups for cars on gt7, track recommendations like for breaking and best lines for tracks and to share my knowledge for anyone who I can help!

Thanks for having me! Wish I knew about this forum sooner!

Found site after Googling to see if anyone found Sardegna Windmills Dirt Champions challenging especially given 1 chilli rating.
From U.K.
First started racing games in about 1982 with Chequered Flag on spectrum, more seriously with Grand Prix and Grand Prix 2 on PC about 1992-1998 - used wheel and pedals House in a home made cockpit.
Now play using standard ps5 controller.
Enjoy Far Cry and Just Cause games.
Hoping to share tips and frustrations about GT7.

Hi
Marts from the UK.
Found GTPlanet whilst searching for GT7 tips, specifically the Human Comedy races, which I'm finding quite difficult, apart from the Deep Forest one using the Dodge Tomahawk..
Recently got back into Gran Turismo, not having played it since GT3. Can't say I'm a big fan of the online races though

I learned about GT Planet when I started researching to put together my first rig, probably around 6-8 months ago (it and RaceDepartment were my first two bookmarks).

Florida, USA

Just started SIM driving a couple months ago as far as using a wheel goes. As far as any SIM racing, got hooked on GT 1 on playstation. Well actually, I loved Pole Position arcade game as a kid and remember the first time I beat the whole thing; you couldn't add more quarters to play longer, you just got to play until you died. Then Cruisin USA, etc, and finally consoles. When I got an xbox x last Christmas I got sucked into Forza H 4, then Forza 7, and then my hand started hurting from using the controllers too much and I decided to look into getting a more serious setup. I eventually bought a PC and built a rig.

I got a DD2 along with a Fanatec Formula v2 and a classic wheel. I love the classic wheel so I finally got around to putting some buttons and paddle shifters on it (manual transmission is my favorite though).

So far nearly all my time has been spent in Assetto Corsa. And I've played a little ACC. I bought RFactor and PC2 in the summer sale but haven't gotten around to them yet. I don't have a playstation right now. Oh yeah, and cruising around in GTA V in VR with a sim rig is just amazing, so I got sucked into that for a couple weeks. But I'm back on the Sim racing programs now. I'm looking forward to learning more in the community, as I start to get into actually racing. So far I've just been driving solo, learning to drive and discovering new tracks.
Hi.
I'm struggling with Assetto Corsa. The physics engine seems strange, especially after playing Gran Turismo

Hey all, my name is mike and I am from the US.
  • How did you find GTPlanet?
I found GTPlanet through a post by someone on the Playstation discord server, specifically the gran turismo 7 chat.
  • Where are you from?
USA - New York!
  • When did you start playing racing games?
Awhile ago, I don't know many years ago. But I did start with arcade racing games opposed to more sim like racing. I used to really dislike the realistic type racing games but became more interested in cars. I find racing games to almost be soothing in a way.
  • Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use?
Just recently bought one. I got a Thrustmaster T300RS GT for my PS5. I may get a Drivehub for Xbox - Forza horizon 5 and Forza Motorsport.
  • What other games do you enjoy?
I love rougelike games (hades, dead cells, etc.) and action games. Some examples are Nier Automata, Nier Replicant, Returnal, the Spider-man games.
  • What are you most looking forward to doing in the community?
I look forward to meeting people that share the same interest in racing games. I hope to learn more about tuning in racing games and just meeting others that have other hobbies that I may be interested in.
