Hello People, I am a retired Engineer, with a background in industrial equipment design and mfg. and most everything else.
My main reason for going on any Forum is to relay information about new energy types of technology of my own designs,
Many people over a long time frame have worked on such technology but have little to offer in the line of working type systems ( But I have found several methods of producing working systems )
Some people Call this technology Perpetual motion or Overunity or free energy ( But I do not use these terms )
I call my technology ( Magnagravity ) or EttCM energy technology -- Energy to torque Conversion Motor ( systems ) mostly because it conforms to how the technology works
This technology once develop can produce energy to run Cars, Truck, Trains, Large Ships, and more.
The technology runs on its own built in energy and uses ( No fuel, or batteries or charging ever )
It is a Permanent Magnetic base power system loop where no other power is ever needed to be put into the machine motor device for many, many years of running.

So this is one of my hobbies, I think it is the best hobby ever. giving the world a technology like this.
Fun stuff.
Thanks, I also answer any question on how the technology works.

Hello and good day

  • When did you start playing racing games? I used to play Papyrus Indycar racing and NFS Most Wanted 20+ yrs ago. But now I got into it again. I needed a new hobby after selling my motorcycle (Yamaha R6)
  • Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use? I have a Vivo seat with a 55 inch Sony TV and Logictec G29
  • What other games do you enjoy? I have GT7 on PS5 , F1 2017 and Dirt Rally 2 on PC

Hi!
I found GT Planet searching for tuning help.
I live in Canada and started to race Gt7 just a few months ago. Now all 50 menus are done… I had to cheat and change St. croix and Fuji to easy mode. Those made me sweat.

I would love to have a steering wheel! What kind is a great quality but not crazy expensive? I don’t want the cheapest though.

now I play with the PS5 controller. I am not good using multiple fingers, so I only drive with automatic shifting. This is where I am now stuck, because I have a hard time getting good times. I also need more experience.
I enjoyed F1 23, and Mafia too but now hooked to GT7.

I want to improve my driving skills, and maybe attend a racing event near me to meet people.

Greetings to everyone,
I was member long time ago as "Tewachweno", I remember sending some ps2's memory cards to Australia to get my laps validated. Sometimes just for a 7 milliseconds improvement on a "S Licence" record.
From Sicily, living in Switzerland. (four languages: Italian, English, French and German)
Started with Monaco GP and Outrun in Playrooms, then passed trough GP2/3/4, GPLegends (best ever race sim), Nascar 4 (Papirus), GTR. For console I played everithing from F1 '96 to all GT via Need for speed, Toca and Colin Mc Rae Rally.
Was playing only with wheel, but now that I'm old and lazy, I'm good with the Joypad.
Until 5 year ago i was an "only Sims" (race or fly) gamer, my girlfriend passed to me the virus of FPS, so i became a Call of Duty aficionado.
Since i recently bougth GT7, as a "petrol head", it's a must to be back as part of the community.

Welcome, one of my brothers lives in Massachusetts. I hope you enjoy your long-time stay here. Jordan and Famine keeps this site under control, so ask them anything so you don't get confused. I found this to improve all my driving skills too and the threads. Some are addicting and cool.

I found gt planet trying to find a way to send polyphony some complaint's i.e. way over aggressive a.i. that is impossible to drive on the same track with any more, horrible penalties that make no sense, and some others.

I've played racing games for about 20 years now off and on.

I use a controller.

I only play gt7 now.

I really don't know what I want in this community.

Hi I'm Kenny from Germany, and I'm a big old timer car fan, especially JDM and 70s, 80s,and 90s Europeans sport cars.
I'm a virtual pilot since 25 year. I started with Need for speed 1 or 2, and after I was a long time on GT Legend, GTR and GTR evolution. Since 9 years I'm on Assetto corsa.

Hello Andres. How are you? Welcome to this website. I'm Chris. I'm a huge fan of GTsport and gt7. What about you? I've only used two steering wheels in my whole life, one on the ps2 and the other on the ps3.

Hi there!
Thank you for the warm welcome!

My name is Luis, I'm from Portugal and I live in UK.

A couple of months ago I started playing GT7 on a Fanatec DD in my PS5.
(I also use to play Ghost Recon Wildlands and Sniper Contracts)

Just found this forum searching the internet for car setups as I'm always trying to improve the understanding of how they work.

So far I found very interesting stuff here, is really nice place and for sure I will keep coming.

Thank you for having me here.

Cheers
luis

(My nickname at GT 7 is "louweb" witch I will be changing soon for the old one "ferweb"

Hey guys, I'm Tiago.

How did you find GTPlanet?
I've been following the site since the days of GT6, mostly to stay informed about the updates and, of course, for those brilliant Praiano tunes. Man that guy is such a legend!

Where are you from?
I live in Portugal, but most people think I'm ucranian or german because of my pale skin and blue eyes... but I'm 100% portuguese, or at least thats what my parents told me

When did you start playing racing games?
I've been playing games for over 20 years, mostly on PlayStation and a little bit on PC. Played a lot of the old NFS and what not... but in the recent years the GT series as grown on me and I started to follow it. I'm definitely NOT your ultimate GT fan as GT7 is only the second GT I ever bought, the first one was GT6, but since I had such a great time with it, I thought I should give GT7 a go, and its been a blast quite frankly!

Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use?
Nope. I like my controller very much, thank you. I guess I like to do things the hard way... and besides, at the moment my money is needed elsewhere as I've recently bought a house which needs a ton of work, and we all know that putting together a proper play seat (with a good enough wheel and pedals and so on...) can get quite expensive...

What other games do you enjoy?
Well, I really like GTA. The "old" ones, that is. I have them all from GTA III to V but... these days Rockstar Games is taking a very strange approach to gaming and its community and, if I'm honest, their games are just not as appealing as they used to be, at least to my liking.

What are you most looking forward to doing in the community?
I don't know... I guess I just want to brag about my unbelievable times at those GT7 Time Trails lol. Ok seriously, I just want to join in the GT7 community and maybe learn a little more and have some fun.

Hey Tiago, I'm Chris. I'm a long-time controller user too, I've only owned two wheels in my life and those were on the ps2 and ps3. I sold them years ago for $250. I've been playing PC, Playstation and Xbox games for 25 years, since October 1999. I live in the U.S.

Maybe you can add me on your friends list sometime in the future, my ID is rising_glass1. The only racing games I find boring are the NASCAR ones.

Thanks Chris, I might just add you to my friends list soon, just to see if I can beat your TT times :D before registering here I've been following the Time Trial thread and I can tell that you and me have very similar skills, most of the time I end up with a time very close (or better ) than yours.

Just back playing GT after a long hiatus. Being a gear head, and a former professional motorcycle racer (a great few years) I love the details that community brings to racing, virtual or real. I was looking for guidance for the K cup races Gt 7. Was able to confirm I was on the right path, as well as finding the missing pieces. Really pleased to find this community!

Been sim racing a year, only really stuck around overtake but I've branched out when searching for mods.
Im from the Southeast USA
started with nascar 98 on ps1
started last year with a g923 and now have a gpro
I love all racing sim games and zelda on Nintendo
finding like minded individuals

Hello everyone, I'm alOscarD22 from Chile, and I came across GTPlanet several times before signing up today, most of those times had to do with Assetto Corsa modding and Gran Turismo 4 mods (more recently, the latest versions of the Retexture Mod).
I started playing racing games on PS2 when I was 5 or 6, way before getting my own PS2 at the age of 9, with Need for Speed (Undeground 1 + 2 and ProStreet if I'm not mistaken)... However, once I got my own console, Gran Turismo 4 was THE game that hooked me into this genre up to this very day (literally, I used to play GT4 a lot when I had my own PS2, no regrets at all). Sadly, up to this day I still don't have a steering wheel from a "well-known" brand (Logitech, Fanatec, etc.); yes, I owned a generic one up until my teenager days, and I rarely used it through those years. Besides racing games (across PC, Nintendo Switch and Android), I like playing from RPGs (like Fallout and Pokémon) to sports games like eFootball, and Fortnite in zero build, solo ranked mode.
Right now, I'm not looking for any specific goal by joining GTPlanet, I'm just looking forward to have fun and enjoy the most of it...

Welcome man, I've never visited Chile before, but maybe one day I can watch a Youtube video and see what it's like over there. Yeah, I remember the only two NFS games I had back in 2004-2010 on my ps2 was Hot Pursuit 2, and UnderGround. They were so fun and addicting, I miss every minute of the action of running away from the cops. And there were a lot of great scenic tracks and areas to race at.
