Still waiting for an in-game picture for that one. Currently doing another one (while doing a entry for the PCARs Stock car contest).

Like the j works one so much more jav. As always impressive. Can't wait for the series! I hope I can drive in it

I have no idea how to make paint schemes, I have cs5 but I still have no clue what I am doing and if someone could give me some tips that would be great!

Exactly what folder does the paint schemes download to? I'm using the desktop downloader, but I can't find where they are going.

I have CS5 as well so perhaps I can help.

I'm trying to figure out how to overlap pictures? Like say I want to put a gtplanet logo on the side panel, how do I do that?

What you'll first want to do is cut out the logo itself. First, select it with the Marquee tool (Make sure none of the surrounding area is selected, only the logo), then cut. Once that is done, you then drag it onto the desired located and drop it.

Uh, which one is the marquee tool? :dunce:

Jav
Looks pretty sweet! Love it! This car is awesome in every way!

Thanks man! Yeah the more I drive this car the more I like it. It's sooo much better with a decent setup rather than the crappy baseline. I think our series here will be a blast.

A quick one I stole just from the "car patterns" and added my own team logos. Turned out ok....

Didn't know you painted Mad that's a sweet Caddy! Looks great in motion (in that video you uploaded)

I don't! It's only temporary before our team's painter can do a proper one. As I said, it's just a paint bucket effort over an iracing pattern with a few added TT-R logos. Looks rough close up but looks ok from a distance as you said. 👍

to be honest the templates they already give us are some of the best! that's all my paint job is, with some tweaks of course.

I downloaded the trading paints desktop program and it doesn't display properly everything is moved down and to the right in the window what is the problem?

edit: now it's changed slightly, different UI, for no reason and it's just off the window and I can't stretch it

am i in the right thread

edit: also I need major help trying to create my own skin, I just want to do one right now just so I know how to do one , so it doesn't have to be perfect, but I don't think I'm using the right tools and I can't find any youtube videos (adobe photoshop elements 8)

edit again: I found the tutorial on the iracing forum, so I'll check back tomorrow

If you make a skin for a car, can other racers see it? This question has probably been asked a few times before, so if it has, sorry! But I'm thinking of doing it, but if nobody else can see it there's not really a point. I'm just confused because the number in the race usually changes every time because other people take your number, but if you have a custom paint, you'd have to paint your own number on there.

Yes sir! This is all you need:

About the number, the service takes care of that. The only times you'll see your selected number show up is when in a hosted session, practice sessions and IIRC the fun series. The rest of the evnets it is your iRating that determine the number you'll use.
