You have it at 62 for the initial formation lap but the caution laps are still listed at 80 per the OP. đź‘ŤI updated that last week as I too felt it was too fast

Gonna get on and figure it out now.
Tonight's race will be 55 laps, including the formation lap. Expect 54 laps of racing.
Who wants to be in a party chat tonight? I know @aceboy127 likes to set one up with his live stream. It would be nice to get people from both divisions so they can share info across the field. It also helps a lot with organizing the race and any cautions that may arise.
The following picture shows the start of the start/restart zone. The zone is from this line to the official start/finish line on track.
Depends really. In my party chat depending on how much of a meme the race has become there could be banter everywhere, or it can be pretty quiet. How does it work? I’ve never tried it before. Do you hear people talking the whole time you’re racing or is it just for race info when needed?
Lobby is now open for practice. Gentlemen, start your engines!
@Pigems @aceboy127 Great race with you guys tonight. I'm glad your internet decided to work after all! I decided to pit in once I could tell Ace was gonna overtake me if I stayed out and that was to be benefit because I also jumped Pigems in the pits. I saw Ace had some trouble getting to the pit lane so huge time advantage there, but Pigems came out around 7 seconds behind me. The race was on. His tires were new and maybe a little cold for the out lap but mine had 4 laps of wear on them. By the end he wore me out and got by. Something about that mile long straight really makes your eyes melt lol. Couldn't keep on your tail for long enough to come back in the draft. Great job tonight handling that car. Must not be so bad on tires after all
It's best to brake with the wheel as straight as possible, that particular behavior helps in tighter sections cause the brakes make the car rotate. It's just one of things you gotta mind with the car.One thing I learned from this race is that the Aston does not like hairpins from high speed. Hard braking down to 2nd or sometimes 1st gets scary depending on how much you turn the wheel while braking. Hey other Aston Martin drivers, do you also experience this?
Thanks. For the start of the race I was running brake balance on 5 (full rear) to help front tire wear, but over time it felt less and less stable. I moved to 4 and felt good, but 2 felt better for the hard braking hairpins. Split the difference at 3 so I didn't have to keep changing it while racing and things felt alright, just had to beware of turn-in like you said. It's best to brake with the wheel as straight as possible, that particular behavior helps in tighter sections cause the brakes make the car rotate. It's the littlest things across an entire lap, running the same racing line only with later braking points, carrying more speed into the corners, getting back on the power earlier, that kind of thing.I honestly don't understand how you Pro drivers are able to pull a whole two seconds out of the same machinery I'm in. I watched some replays and honestly can't see where you're faster but you cross the line and the timer says low 1:38s or high 1:37s. You guys are godly.
I'd say the Pro class is 3/4 driver 1/4 tune. That 1/4 being just us trying to make the car work for how we drive rather than trying to get speed out of it, that one's all down to the driver.Edit: It would certainly bring some insight to to how much of the Pro division speed is due to tuning or driving ability.
