Is it possible to change the color of a door handle?

Hey everyone, this is a question for all you experienced livery makers out there. Have you found a satisfactory of changing the color of a doorhandle without touching the color of the door? I've fiddled around with various default shapes from the decal selections and adjusting their angle and depth but none of them have worked well.

Ultimately it's just a minor detail but I would be very grateful if any of you could help me here.

P.S. The car I'm working on is the new Porsche 911 Carrera RS Clubsport (993), but I would also like to transfer this to the Porsche 911 RSR (2017) if possible.

Take a screenshot, import it as a background to an SVG-programme and trace yourself a decal. That‘s the easiest way imho
