RTSolvalouDisgusting. They should not crap all over the Cuda by making a new one, and with Plymouth no longer in existence no less.
However, if they do make one and it follows the trend of new revisions of old body styles, I'll probably Not Bad it if it's based off of the '71 model and they get it all right. There should be some legal reasons blocking them from using the Cuda name though, with Plymouth having been dissolved.

your opinion not mine they are sports cars and they are muscle cars depends on the version you get my freind.
Keep telling yourself that.
Look up what a sports car is and realize the camaro isn't one.
eSZeeMustang isn't a muscle car.
What is it then in your opinion?
eSZeeThe GT500 is a muscle car, just cause it's got a big engine with tons of power. Lesser mustangs are cruisers.
There's a new boss429?

So far as I know, Chrysler Corporation could still use the name Barracuda, since Plymouth was a part of their company.
Also, the 1970 version was the best looking. That's a fact.
We are pleased to read of your interest in the Chrysler Cuda concept vehicle. At this time, DaimlerChrysler has not released any plans that indicate the future production of the Chrysler Cuda. If built, The Chrysler Cuda concept vehicle would be built on the same platform as the upcoming 2008 Dodge Challenger, and would be production ready around the same time. We encourage you to stay in touch with the Chrysler.com website as well as your local Chrysler dealerships for future product updates.
There's a new boss429?
Cruisers? How would you define that?
I'm not trying to sound sarcastic. Genuinely curious.![]()
Does anyone else wonder why the newer Charger ended up with 4 doors?
eSZeeBig body, comfortable seats, soft enough suspension, adequate power. This car is a perfect highway cruiser.
Ah okay. I can agree with that if the car is left stock. I've put a set of Konis and 275s all around, summer tires mind you, and the cars handling has significantly improved. But it still has retained that "cruiser" ability. Hell I think the thing rides more comfortably with the Konis versus the stock suspension.![]()
AzuremenWhat summer tires?
And that isn't too unusual for Koni's to make a car ride a bit better than OEM, at least if paired with stock springs.
http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1073828_will-the-re-born-srt-barracuda-get-a-supercharged-hemiAccording to a report on Allpar, not only is an SRT-branded Barracuda going to replace the Dodge Challenger sometime around 2014-2015, but it'll be be the first vehicle to sport a supercharged HEMI engine. The engine in question is said to be a 6.2-liter V-8 instead of the new 6.4-liter V-8
Our source told us the supercharged V-8s would put out approximately 540-570 horsepower and would use a twin-screw supercharger kit.
Sounds like it would be gunning directly for the ZL-1.
Yep. The current Challengers, though they are aesthetically similar to the older Challengers of the muscle era, don't quite perform like the ZL-1 or even the SS.
And I have no doubt they'll make the Barracuda look current yet classic just as they've done with the Challenger.![]()
