To all the people waiting for GT6 XL, there is no gurantee that it will come out and by the time it does, GT7 may be close to release, GT5 XL came out over a year after GT5 launched, we know GT7 will come out in 1-2years time.

Waiting for the XL versions specifically probably isn't that bright, as you say it may never come out. But waiting to see what the patches bring (which is essentially why you'd want an XL version anyway) is only common sense if you're not excited by the features that will be included at launch.

I wasn't because it was too much the same as gt5, then i realized i have a g27 racing wheel and the physics will be fantastic, so im gonna get it, on lay-away like i did gt5 xD

I agree with this but we don't know when GT7 will come out, the way you've put it, is almost assured. It could be 1 year to 5 years from now we don't know.

It was confirmed by PD that GT7 will be out in 1-2years due to the PS4 being easy to develop on.

There's a local online company that usually deliver pre-orders on or w/in 1-2 days of launch date... I have consistently gotten FIFA (and other games) BEFORE or on release date, and yes, I'm still living in Trinidad

I am not got a ps4, gt6 looks like more of he same, things we have been asking for for years still not implemented.

I think I'm gonna do a u-ey (180º) and get GT6 on launch day.

If I can't get hold of an Xbox One until next year GT6 is the only console sim-ish title in town and December is a long month.

I never thought I'd see the game as a snack to consume between Forzas though.

Why get an x1?? Ps4 is a way better purchase. Forza 5 is a major disappointment.

What on earth is this based on? everything I've seen of Forza and heard from people here who have actually played the game makes it sound like it's great to play and it's here now, today. Better than buying a PS4 and waiting around for them to release a racing game I like on it.

It may be a way better purchase for shooters but racing games are my genre of choice.

Forza has 200 cars and only 14 tracks, it's career mode is a shell of its former self. It is filled with micro transactions and it is by far the lowest rated forza game by 10 on metacritic.....It is a downgrade for the series.

Nothing is guaranteed until it gets here and that holds especially true with PD and the GT series, the only game that hasn't been delayed is GT6. Also I saw that it was projected in the article, do you have one that says this is assured?

It seems to be the case that everyone who's played it on this forum likes the game. I don't get why people are supposed to pass this up for a game which currently doesn't have a release date at launch. That is also projected to come back but early next year. So we'll see if it does happen then or later.

Do you really need to be condescending every time someone questions you? I asked for an article, and once again Kaz has said many things in the past regarding GT release dates and they didn't come true, yet you don't try to rebuke that, you rather attack me instead. GT5 was explained by you (though poorly), what about GT1-GT4?

Also I read the article provided by the forum and it didn't say anything conclusive, rather a hope by Kaz that it comes out around that time. Not a promise.

I love it. The only cons repeatedly posted are the smaller amount of content & micro-transactions. No one ever comments on the improved physics or A.I. that tell me who has played it & who hasn't. It's always just hearsay.

The "AI" is reminding me more and more of playing online with people who should not be playing online. People like myself. The feel of realism is definitely there along with the payback mentality from previous games.

Because the game just came out & the Drivatars sync immediately after your first 3 races. Give it time.

I haven't seen where the physics are exaggerated, but they are plain & simple, noticeable steps above FM4. I can't comment on whether it's better than FM4, but that will ultimately come down to varying opinions.

I spent much more time on GT5 than FM4, so I wasn't sure if I should buy FM5. But I am really glad I did.
Sure the AI is crazy but at least it's never boring. I would never go back to FM4 or GT5.

FM4 (which I played with a Fanatec GT2 wheel and V2 pedals) was fun for about a month or 2. GT5 was more enduring for me.. it's all about the handling and realism.

After seeing what the early copy was about, I canceled my preoder. I might still be getting the game in a few months, if it will be sold at a discounted price (30 euros or less) or if patches will have by then improved it significantly, although I doubt this will happen.

I can never understand why so many people make their decision on other people views on a game. I make my own decieion on a game because one persons view of a game is usually different to my own view. It makes me think that some people are brainwashed or unable to make their own decisions.
