Not sure if this has been posted in the nine pages of drivel before this one,
but THERE IS A POINT TO THE CARWASH:
It slightly increases the resale value of cars that can be sold.
That's the only thing it does. The photoshop images on these last pages prove that it doesn't do anything in terms of actual cleaning - except for a few people who don't understand the concept of 'placebo'.
The guy with the red GT-R is right.
Today, a friend of mine come around saying: "hey, you said you would love to have a dirty car right? So I have a pretty dirty Countach LP400, it got even a really disgusting dirty spot in the back that is really noticeable...The car was used a lot with my bob's, so it has lots of played mileage in it. Want to trade it? "
I traded it for a brand new silver one I've had... and the car is really dirty... in the garage you can't see it, but when going to any track or GT Auto you can see the dirty marks... I'm doing pictures and I'll post them tomorrow.
I think as the standard cars are more "texture based" models and have lower quality models, it can be more noticeable because the dirty spots really get ugly...
The car in question is black, so its really noticeable...
