Things might have moved on but on Ebisu West (the track shown on the video), people are still manji'ing then ebraking! And the layout of the straight + corner pretty much look like the one on cape north except the turn is on the right and might be wider than on Cape ring!

Ahh, I suppose. It's just two different methods of scrubbing speed whilst approaching a tight corner. That corner is definately tighter and narrower though.

And to the two LFS champions, your views seem to be opposed by both Luke Fink and Dan Chapman.

lfs champions hahaha that sounds awesome.

meihan. ebrake slides. runit.

again. to slide in a straight line. you know what i'm talking brofessional!

also.

luke fink.

looks like some ebrake action to me.

OOOOOOOOH LUKEFINKLUKEFINKLUKEFIIIIIINK YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Extreme entry competion. They were being judged on how far out they can slide. I can show you a video of Luke Fink teaching someone how to drift last year telling them explicitly that it's better to feint that use their wand.

And I actually don't know what you're talking about. Runit and brofessional? Not sure what they mean.

Anyway, like I said a few pages back, we're gonn have to agree to disagree, in part because I need to sleep :) Haha.

Edit: One last piece.

dan chapman in front.

ebrake ENTRY.

WHOA MAMA.

Entry. Not ridiculously long slide scrubbing speed. Dan Chapman wins events because he can carry crazy amounts of speed through corners. He does that by using as little handbrake as he can. It's horses for course too. There are instances, like Ebisu West, where there may be no alternative. It's all about choosing what's right to do in the particular situation.

I'm also an "LFS" champion so can edit and write three instead of too!
Btw the way those manjis might have took you so much skills teh luckinator, that i'm jealous! Lol, nice one!

By the way, speaking of manji, when you do a succession of little manji on a straight like that it's called komanji (with KO meaning children).

Anyway, who is Luke Fink and that other dude? Sorry I only know about Japanese drifters with poor skills that uses ebrake, like Naoki Nakamura from Team Burst...
