I wish I could put wheels on it, and see the interior! This car later saw heavy modification to the head, Hondata ECU, all the bolt-on goodies...was making just over 200 at the wheels, all motor. What a blast it was. *sigh*...those were the days!

Didn't know ITRs come in black...

DAMN I WISH!!

I wish we could pay PD so we can get our car in the game, but I bet if THAT were to happen, I would go bankrupt.

Some very expensive and amazing cars here!
May I ask a question? What do you guys do for living? (If possible mention again which car you own). I'm just always very interested when I see a Lambo etc. on the road, what does the driver do that he can afford it.

Sorry for my curiosity. :)

Only ever owned one car that was in any Gran Turismo. An BMW E36 Compact, I have the 318ti, GT 2 had a 323ti.

I've had a few E36's including an M3, really suprised it's never been in any of the GT games. Forza 3 has it.

I was actually waiting for GT5 to come out so I could buy a car that was in the game(saves money on track days), I'm not even bothered now since the game is so boring and I'll probably be done with it before christmas.

You can get most high-end cars on the cheap if you buy pre-owned. These cars are awesome, but absolutely do not hold their value. A friend of mine just bought an 06 BMW M5 for $30,000 USD, with 31,000 miles on it. They are around $80,000 USD new.

<----mines been here since gt3 but i only owned mines since gt4 8D thoe its the 4 bannger model but it is as close as i am going to get

Really depends on what country you're from too.

The US and UK tend to be quite cheap for very nice high performance cars, I live in Australia and we get absolutely rpped off, there's a luxury car tax (anything over $70,000-ish gets a 33% extra tax on it) and just on top of that people like charging 200% the value (or more) look at a 911 here and it's $270,000, go to America and the same car is $80,000AUD (converted). Or in the UK for RHD models $85,000AUD converted.
Although i feel pity for anyone from say singapore where cars are prohibitarily expensive.

Anyways, I've got a 2000 RX7, costs about $30,000AUD here, I do engineering consultancy.

I think you'll find that people with really nice prestige cars are either older (35+) or they own part of a company, that's the best way to make big money. (either that or they've got rich parents :P)

Only one of my present cars is in the game, AFAIK – and I've got it :)

But several of my old cars are. Nice that they can "live on".

These are the ones I've got::

Only seen a blue one in the game so far, waiting for green. Maybe I'll have to buy and re-paint it

As for the rest of my current cars:

Disappointed that there are no 997s

I‘ll have to settle for an old Ruf :indiff:

No sign of this little toy of mine either – would have been nice as a european counterbalance to the countless versions of the japanese tiny sportscars (Cappucino, Beat, etc.)

A 1.5litre 4cylinder Spitfire is no real substitute for my 3 litre, 6 cylinfder MGC either

Couldn't really expect my Lancia to be in the game either

Didn't expect my trusty Dodge to be included, but at least there are some in the game

Past cars of mine that I would like in the game

Would have been nice to have my old X1/9 that inspired the Toyota MR2 instead of umpteen MR2 versions :boggled:
2905985110103429640S600x600Q85.jpg

And my old Matra

As for future cars:

I've got the "possibly, one day"
2583325040103429640S600x600Q85.jpg

And the cheapest version (S) of my "If my numbers came up" car, but the R would be nicer

well, S for the road and R for the track perhaps! :D

Mine is... another '69 Corvette. Mine is a coupe with manual trans. It's almost completely original including the engine it was born with. And to the other '69 Vette owner, sweet car but what's up with the crazy paint job??

i JUST noticed your post. river city gold, right? thats what mine came with from the factory.

as for the paint on mine, thats the way my dad painted it after he finished rebuilding it back in the early 70s. it came gold from the factory, 2nd owner painted it orange, cant tell it if was hugger orange or whatever the vettes orange was at the time (bastard didnt mask anything off, ive still got orange over spray down the back of the firewall, and on couple interior pieces)
anyways, 2nd owner totaled it. every panel broken into a million pieces, wind shield pillars snapped straight back, a complete mess. my dad pieced it back together and sprayed it like that. elkheart green and some corvette yellow from early/mid 70s... not sure what the name of it is off hand.

My '06 Mustang GT isnt, but the '05 is, so still pretty close. Of course it doesnt have any of the mods I've updated mine with.

My 2007 civic type r (fn2) model is not listed in GT5... However Forza 3 has it lol

hi all, this is first post on the forum. yay

that was exactly my thought. lol..
the first thing i did when i fired up gt5 - go to the honda dealership and looked for it. and got sorta disappointed when i found out that it wasnt even a standard model -.-'

I own and/or have previously owned 4 cars in GT5.

2000 mazda mx5 NB series 2
1990 mazda mx5 NA
2002 renault clio sport
1998 200sx series 2

One of them is. The first car that I had a race against was the R31 GTS-R. Mine's a GXE model, not a GTS-R but it's nice that it has an R31.

I own the R33 skyline.. my second one. I'm single in the military and deploy a lot. I also sell car parts on the side.

Close - I have a 1970 Datsun Roadster 1600. GT5 has a 1968 Fairlady 2000, which is the same car except for a 2.0L vs. my 1.6L engine.

Used to have a 2004 Audi S4 though, also in the game.

Jealous, except for being deployed so much. Although 90's Japanese cars might make it worthwhile to be away from friends and family! hehe jk

Well for me it does... i am not really family oriented.

I got this DR30 ( not exact car ) in my sights now for exportation. I wanted a R32 but everyone has one.
