My car is in the game, Focus ST. Mine has smoked headlights rather than chrome and they never bothered putting my colour in the game (sea grey) so it isnt accurate in the game.

My Honda S2000 is in the game, but they don't quite have my colour right, but it's close enough so I'm a happy chap, and it's a premium car so I can virtually sit in my car :D

Mine almost is, I've got a Golf V6 4Motion and the Bora version is in there so bought one as soon as it turned up in the used dealership, sounds pretty good now I've put a titanium exhaust on it!

The closest in the game is a TVR Griffith, but I have the TVR Chimaera; same year chassis and engine, but the suspension setup and body is slightly different on the Griff.

I'm currently building a fleet of TVRs in the game, all in the same reflex purple! I just wish the Sagaris was in there as well. I also know the guy who has the real life car that the Forza one was modelled on. Very tasty piece of kit.

This is my auto-porn contribution!

No, I own 3 bmw's, they're older but i wish they were in here
1. "97 bmw 328I
2. 87 bmw 325il
3. 96 bmw 850csi
I wuld of been happy with any older bmw, but they have the M3 an the M5 so i guess i cant complain

My real car is not in GT5, can't believe they don't have any 3rd or 4th generation GM f-body cars besides the 1997 camaro...

I used to own a M3 E46-05 CP. The one in the game is a 04, and not a Comp. Package (includes bigger brake discs(365 insted of stock 345 mm in front), batter chocks, springs, alcantara-wheel, light-weight wheels 19' magnesium, improved steering, "M-track-mode") it was also fitted with CSL frond and rear diffusor, a custom built exhaust and better brake pads(is that the correct word?).

I drove a lot on tracks with it. A few friends drive the standard model as in the game, and also the CSL. All cars are real close to the real deal if you ask me. great job PD

the E46 M3 GTR is quite hard to find in real life :)

nice STI but how did you get that nurburgring sticker on the side of your car?!

My REAL car doesn't have the Spec C RA Nurburgring Sticker on it yet... I won't get that until I've been...so in the future some day. ^_^

However the game car is a different trim than we get here in the U.S. so it has it.

Not quite.

I have a 09 Mazda Mazdaspeed 3, and the only car in game that's even close is the 03 Axela (Mazda 3 Hatchback in USA).

So, I turbocharged it, painted it like mine, tuned the gear ratios to match my car, same horsepower, lowered about 10mm as per mazda spec and I'm getting very similar results around tracks like Laguna Seca and others as in real life.

That's hot!
Too bad you can't get this as a premium in GT5 or else thats exactly how I'd mod mine!
Very nice car!

^^indeed

I think it will happen

Well for me it does... i am not really family oriented.

I really like DR30s. A friend of mine used to have a stock red/black two-tone RS-Turbo, it was one of only two in the entire US, the other one was owned by Paul Newman. (Who was given it for appearing in the car's TV commercials in Japan.) It was a cool car, I always liked it better than even the R32s, 33s, and 34s that some other friends and acquaintances owned, even those those cars attracted much more attention.

The closest car in GT5 is a Toyota Altezza Gita, but I have the Toyota Progres NC300 IR WP, fully JDM car. Though they look completely different but both of them have almost the same suspension and engine (2jz-ge).

Yes (more or less). I drive an 08 USDM Subaru Impreza STi.

Chassis and most body panels, parts, and drivetrain is the same as the JDM model with the steering wheel being on the Correct side that is :D

Where my car is different is that the engine is the Subaru EJ257 not the EJ207 which means it is a 2.5L instead of a 2.0L. Makes about the same power as the japanese 2.0L but doesn't rev as high (only about 7K redline instead of 8K) and uses an unequal length header (which I will change) with a single scroll turbocharger instead of an equal legnth twin-scroll setup. Basically you get more engine in the US but you get a much better turbo setup in Japan which gives it more torque and better fuel efficiency. (all that can be fixed though)

Enough chit chat here's some comparison shots.

Real Life

Gran Turismo Life

Everyone here has nice, new, and powerful cars. I mean in real life, not in the game. My car is in the game, the '03 Mazda Axela SP23 is my car except mine is 2006 but not much has changed from '03 to '06.

NO!

Real car: Renault Megane R26.R (You Americans might have to look it up). 1 of only 354 cars ever built this is 1 of only 125 cars in the UK. Built by Renault Sport for the track including carbon bucket seats, Polycarbonate windows, Roll Cage and Titanium Exhaust. Currently the Nurburgring lap record holder for a front wheel drive car at 8:16.9.
