Issue with embedded Youtube links (fixed)

OK, I didn't realise that. Thanks!
I'll see if there's a better way for me not to abuse the system...

Maybe creating a playlist on my Youtube channel would be more productive.

But it's less pretty and defeats the point of trying not to hit the performance too hard... :D

Now I'm trying to embed a playslist... Can't be that hard!!

Samus is correct, you can embed a maximum of five videos per post.

The easy workaround is to link directly to the videos, like this. If you wanted to keep it looking good, you could also post a screenshot from the video and then link it to open the video directly on YouTube, like this:

^ That produces this:

You can easily grab screenshots from the videos using a tool like YouTubeScreenshot.com.

Sure, embedding playlists is definitely possible. Just paste the playlist's URL into your post.

Here's GTPlanet's Track of the Week playlist:

You'll notice it is different from regular embeds because you can click on the pop-out menu icon in the top left of the player.

Well I've tried many things, including studying the code behind your reply but I can't find a way to embed my playlist:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQDfrjn_y5uqxBZ_f5nPjkysVXovY3a7V

Your url uses 2 parameters: id and list. Mine doesn't.

EDIT: oh. Now it works. :dunce:
(in my defense, by adding manually the tags)

Oh, OK, I see now you were attempting to embed the URL from the playlist's overview page. Yeah, that wouldn't be matched to auto-embed for you, which is probably what was causing the confusion.

The URL I used to embed the playlist was the direct URL of the first video when viewed in the context of the playlist — that's why it has two parameters (the video ID and the playlist's ID).
