GT. GT never changes.
The end of the franchise occurred pretty much as we had predicted. Too many undelivered promises, not enough space or resources to go around. The details are trivial and pointless, the reasons, as always, purely human ones.
The fan base was nearly wiped clean of life. A great cleansing, an atomic spark struck by human hands, quickly raged out of control. Spears of nuclear fire rained from the skies. Clans were swallowed in flames and fell beneath the boiling oceans. Community was almost extinguished, their spirits becoming part of the background radiation that blanketed the forums.
A quiet darkness fell across the (GT)planet, lasting many years. Few survived the devastation. Some had been fortunate enough to reach safety, taking shelter in great PC vaults. When the great darkness passed, these vaults opened, and their inhabitants emerged to begin their lives again.
One of the northern racing clans claims they are descended from one such Vault. They hold that their founder and ancestor, one known as the "GT Dweller," once the saved the franchise from a great evil.
According to their legend, this evil arose in the far south. It corrupted all it touched, twisting men inside, turning them into arrogant beasts. Only through the bravery of this GT-Dweller was the evil destroyed. But in so doing, he lost many of his friends and suffered greatly, sacrificing much of himself to save the franchise.
When at last he returned to the home he had fought so hard to protect, he was cast out. Exiled. In confronting that which they feared, he had become something else in their eyes...and no longer their champion.
Forsaken by his people, he strode into the wasteland. He traveled far to the north, until he came to the great PC. There, he kick-started a small circuit, Arroyo, where he raced out the rest of his years. And so, for a generation since its founding, Arroyo has lived in peace, its PCs sheltering it from the outside world. It is home. Your home.
But the scars left by the war have not yet healed. And the fan-base has not forgotten.

Let's all predict how the GT series is gonna end!
Either development will come to a sudden halt has the result of Xenon Terraformers glassing PD headquarters, or somebody will just forget to put the bathroom key back in the proper place, and the staff will rage quit in protest.
I'm pretty sure it'll be one or the other. (Inside source tells me so.)
Disclaimer: My inside source is actually my Sea-monkeys. They have direct communication to the Zenon. Unfortunately I don't speak Sea-monkey, so I have to rely on translations through my cats. The cats frequently lie to make me look bad on the internet.

I called in another thread, a ford aussie mate agreeing with a chevy american dude... Its happening now, and its not just gt, the whole world is coming to an end!
But my prediction is after gt7p (gt6 still in spec1 and missing features) they start saying they are reaching max capacity of the ps4 and won't be able to do things they originally thought they could...

I can't really take this seriously , you are kidding right ? do you own GT6 ? (Hope this is a stupid question).
I personally haven't bought a playstation 4 not because I do not want to own one , there are a few reasons. 1st reason is the games just don't exists yet , there isn't a big choice of games out I want to be really wowed by the playstation not just have it because I can.. 2nd reason is I am getting older and wiser with what I use with my petty/free cash I can not afford to have a object just sitting there not being used when the ps3 still keeps my son entertained and we have a lot of games he enjoys my wife is a guitar hero freak and rocks out often ,movies mp3s streaming bluerays etc etc . 3rd reason I bought my ps3 late in its life as soon GT5 had a release date confirmed I bought my ps3 and went out had a laugh buying loads of games from blockbusters for cheap old games but games I never played so new to me , I bought every accessory they had and for cheaper than when the console first came out, headset the keyboard for the pad dfgt wheel , even bought a rseat evo v3.
And that's my plan now wait until I get value for my money , and probably what a lot of people are doing as the ps3 still has excellent graphics , the jump from ps2 to 3 was a no brainer but the ps3 isn't really a jump just a small step.
I highly doubt GT6 is holding back any release for the ps4 I would expect it be the reverse

The point is that there is no challenge in Forza offline unless you add it yourself by setting the difficulty high, turning off assists. not using the manual clutch or using it only with a gated shifter, turning on full damage disabling the rewind and using a weaker car where allowed.
No matter which race you run in Forza there is no such thing as I need to get better because you can simply turn the AI down to a crawl and use rewind when you make a mistake. You'd be surprised how many people do play it that way because all they want to do is win the race. In GT there are a few races where you actually have to drive a bit better than what you do on Forza in order to win. GT6 more so than GT5 since they now restrict tires.
As for playing the way you want to play try doing a big money glitch on Forza and see what happens

To be fair, with its AI GT6 lets you win every race automatically as long as you are somewhat quick and don't mess up completely. Rubber banding makes sure of this.

Not really, but that's a good joke for it. It's really 30+1 pages of frustration that PD has yet to relinquish with its consumers...It's gone from let's be patient to predict the demise of the franchise PMSL.
