Where are we racing first tonight? Indy or Daytona? Also if there's a caution within the last 3 laps, will we take the finish under caution, or will there just be no cautions in the last 3 laps? Also, for oval qualifying, are we all going out on track at once, or are we being sent out 1 at a time to do 3 laps (outlap, a sighter lap where we're not quite up to full speed, and the hotlap)?

Other things to remember: The start at Indy is 3 wide @ 80mph, and the start/restart point is the beginning of the pit wall. Restarts at Indy are 2 wide @ 100mph. Starts and restarts at Daytona are 2 wide @ 100mph, with the start/restar at the start/finish line.

The pre-season races are for people from both series.

Room is open for the early birds. Quali for Daytona starts in an hour. I'll not be in room fir a little while but feel free to join early for Indy testing.

Room will open at 20:00 GMT with the Track being Indianapolis for Testing and Free Run.
Room will Change at 20:15 GMT to Daytona for Testing and Free Run.
Qualifying for Daytona will start at 20:30 with the Race scheduled for 20:45
After the Race the room will change to Indianapolis for 15 minutes Qualifying, with Race scheduled thereafter.

Even if you cannot make the first race, then please still try and make the second, which I guess will start at approximately 21:30 BST.

Please bear in mind that for this week I believe there is only a 4 hour gap between BST and EST

Transmission: Reset everything to default, then put max speed at the bottom right to 217mph, then put final gear to 4.230, and then put 7th gear at 1.465 . You get 210/211 mph running solo, and these settings limit the drafting speeds to 215/216 mph

Ride Height (Optional): Increase ride height to iron out the bumps in the road, not compulsory.
All Other Tuning: Unrestricted

Indy Oval Track Specs:
Weight: 690kg
Max Power: 848bhp
Transmission: Reset transmission to default, then set the max speed at the bottom to 236, then put your final gear at 4.212, and 7th gear at 1.366 . The other six gears can be set however you want. This will limit the top speed of your car to about 232.5 mph.

Rich has volunteered to become the safety car driver for the US series, cheers mate! Also Rich, if you can make the UK time slot you can still race in the series 👍

As we're having 2 races I don't think we'll do the single car qualifying tonight, though expect to see it in round 2 and 6. No cautions in the last 3 laps of any race is a good idea, I'll add it to the caution rules in the OP.
