thanks everyone! and thanks for the info speedy!
it wont happen again *coughs* yeah right*coughs*
the smoke on the nsx was like that, coz i just clipped the curb too much and i wanted to capture the dust being kicked up by the tires, i have a frontal shot of the same angle, just the textures were really bad so i didn't bother with it.
CF: Thanks !!
Vince: i actually wasn't so sure of that update till i started burning the shadows on the car. glad you liked it! 👍
[es]: thanks man!
here are my latest comp. entries and some rejects. the one with the big back fire on it, i enhanced the flame coming out of the exhaust, i used the technique i applied with the gt4 balloon fire, and i found it hard to do with different lighting. i guess you have to adapt to the amount of exposure and contrast on the photo, not to mention getting the shapes and angles right. oh well. first time for everything. let me know what you guys think.
my latest entry for the GT4 Photomode 2.0 Competition
i was gonna use this one, but i decided not to, because the
smoke effect was not allowed, and the pic looks bland without it to my eyes.
and this one i didn't use because it was simply
against the theme of the comp. the car was basically in the wrong end of the track
my pmc comp entry
Bonus Shot
My very first time applying backfire in the 'proper' time i should say
it wasn't as easy as i thought it would be. took me another hour just to get what i wanted. and yes, i know some parts of the car are jagged, but i didn't care anymore after.
- Kind of.
