i likem but, theres something off i cant put my finger on. i think im just not feeling the white car :indiff:

I agree, the Integra looks nice, but the color doesn't look quite right. Maybe its the lighting.

I am sure some asian integra owner use these rims in Vancouver
I think it is a good rim choice .. very JDMish :D
also matching those red leaves in Nansenji ... Nice shots!!

thanks everyone!

GT4R and ES: i believe it's the color and brightness. i know it's crappy :D
wont happen again.

bluedot: dude, those are JDM GAB wheels! it just looks like crap coz PD did a half hearted effort into modelling them. if you ever see them in real life on a nicely done ITR, you'd ball your eyes out in praise. but then we all have our own choices, and i respect that 👍 thanks for visiting.

Driftnewb: thanks ! 👍

Finally! someone who knows where i'm coming from. yeah there was a time when a lot of jdm tuners, specially with the honda's, rocked those rims around here. there's actually an orange EK here that has those. man i wish i had a pic to show you, they're so damn nice! specially with those polished lips...oh my god..to die for! pure jdm wheels too. i think this one company called Drag's been copying them lately. like i said earlier, i wish PD paid more attention to it like they did with the other wheels. thanks for visiting and the kind comments! and oh yeah, congrats on the H2H final poll!

I was sitting infront of my pc tonight, and decided to toy around with ps again, so i thought i'd share more ITR pics with you guys, and yes, with the same wheels and color, like it or not. i hope you guys will like this more than the first one coz i put lots of time with these shots. this is also a failed attempt of capturing the 'titanium' look with the exhaust and the rim lip (outside portion of the wheels that meets the tires)
Comments and tips are welcome.

This last batch seems better, J. :)

but there's something wrong with the 1st shot's lower 3rd.

I'll comment in detail tomorrow. 👍

Nicely clean! Nicely cool! lol. I know, it's in a shadowed place, but it limited the dynamisn of lights. It can be changed in PS but needs a lot of work.

I want keep seeing more Integras here, you make look them so good...

thanks for the comments guys. i'll work on those faults next time, but i have to say that for those shots, i was aiming for something a little bit more random, i guess it turned out a bit stupid, but whatever. there was a time i waxed my car (when i had it) and took a picture of it after in the shade. i was trying to replicate it with gt4 :D obviously didn't turn out very well. oh well.

Sorry for the delay, J.

On the 1st batch, the main reason why I believe the 1st shot doesn't work that well is because it's colors are very similar to the background. you should try to grab that shot, select the car to another layer and work on the rest, making it darker so the car stand out more. Reflections looks pretty good, and the bits of red all over look cool.
2nd shot could use a bit of cropping on the right side (eliminating that pillar altogether), would do wonders with the composition. Tyres in red look weird, bit of burn there.
The entire scenery, all the car (except mentioned heating tyres) and the rims are just great, not much work needed on them.

On the 2nd batch, you did a great job on the exhaust, looks pretty realistically anodized, and the gaussian on the back is damn near perfect (you have to teach me to do it right), specially the red trees on the left. You just missed that bit between the wing and the roof.
The car itself looks good, except all the lower part of it, it should be black. That's why the really black part of the image stands out so much, making it look weird.
2nd shot is the most well balanced of them all, imo.
Only the rims seem too strong in color, if they looked like the 2nd shot of post 1321 would be just great.

The scenery shot is more like what you can do with sceneries, much better than the Amalfi one. Just needed a slight color balance.
What car is that, btw? Sorry, I need glasses, my eyes are letting me down when seeing at large distances (really).

Hope the comment's not too negative, as I also pointed out on how to improve some parts of the shots (to the best of my knowledge, of course).

thanks for the feedback beerz. i'll keep those tips in mind since they can be very useful in the future. but for those updates i was just trying something new, that didn't quite work out. what i was aiming for with the red wheels was to duplicate the new volk wheels coming out with the titanium lip, which changes colors according to different angles. obviously didn't turn out the way i wanted it to, but i'm working on it. i guess having the wrong wheels didnt work either :D and don't worry, the comments are not negative at all. i actually find them quite helpful. the car in the scenery shot, if we're talking about the same one, is a lancer evolution 8 MR. it all came from one set, including the one where the car is jumping in the air on the previous updates.
about the gaussian blur on the integra pics, all i ever did was apply a tiny bit of median filter and then threw some gaussian blur to it. nothing special really.
except i used quite a few layers to do it, so not to rupture the looks of the red trees in the background. i missed that bit between the wing and the roof on purpose coz i got scared it might ruin things. i know i should of done it, but i was too tired and scared of having to do it all over again :D guess it's safe to say that was me being half hearted :D i'm really happy about how the exhaust turned out though. it was nothing but applying the gradient and the photo filter, then applying a little bit of color balance, then applying the dodge tool, then applying gradient mapping again on the dodge circles that i made to give it that anodized reflection found on titanium exhausts. sorry again if the last update has let people down :( i was just trying to look outside the box and try different things. don't worry. when i have time i do have another integra update coming up, and i'll make sure it will be better than the ones you saw now, even better than this one i posted here. thanks again for the feedback, i could really use them. sometimes getting comments like this, specially on an experimental stage helps, most of the time i do things that i think are right, but are not :D i think i'm screwed up or something  too much working lately.

anyways, enjoy the udpates for now, and anymore helpful tips will always be welcome.

i think i'm gonna have to buy a new mouse, since the one i have now is starting to stop on its own even when i dont want it to. it sucks. i think i might invest on a graphic pen in the near future, so i really need some advice if it's really gonna be worth it for me or not, since it's worth a few bucks :(
thanks again!

i've been having a run of crappy updates lately. i really havent been using photoshop lately. even this one looks so damn screwed up.
i was gonna use this photo for the 'Keiichi Tsuchiya' theme of the gt4 2.0 comp, just never got around posting it since i've been so busy lately.thank god though, since i think it would of been owned anyways.

PS: about the rims on the integra, i actually did a lot of work on them believe it or not. for some reason the stock photo, the rims looked very pixeled. drove me nuts for the biggest time. also keep an eye out for my big Lancia Integrale update coming up 👍

Very nice work!

The Trueno, is very clean and well blurred. The black and white shot goes very well with the black/white theme of the car! (unless its the red one :/)

The Evo is very nicely done also i like the contrast and angle of this shot aswell as the countryside.

However, there seems to be a greyish section behind the trees is that intentional?

But overall great shots! welldone!

:dunce:

That trueno is damn right near perfect ^^
Maybe the background at the rear of the car should loose a bit of contrast. Because it seems like the car is IN the background, instead of in front of it.

Oh well.
And I really like your Evo shots as well, it really makes me want to drive an Evo on the nurb right now as well :)

Don't worry, those experiment are good. About the red rims, I personally don't like them but it's a good idea to combine the car with the red background of the scenery.

The AE86 is cool too. As far as I can remember, most of them you made are in B/W, right? Yours look cooler than mines. I guess the photos where the background is typically from a circuit don't help the real feeling of a good AE86 photo, and your last AE86 prove that (Well, it prove that the oposite works lol).

The Nür photo collection are a bit weird. I think the colors and light work is not bad, but with so amount of editting over the original pics give a lot od distortion of something, emphasizing even more the poor textures they have. I was thinking how to fix that, but I'm not sure how now, it's difficult.

And I'm still waiting for the shiny Aston at Opera :D

Just wanna say thats a lovely AE86 shot Jg!!! Really impressive, full of style!!! A true drift shot!!!

Also U did well on those Integra shots...even with red rims!!!:D

I'm new here, but it doesnt take a long-time poster to realise that these shots are awesome! How do you get the quality so good? Mine always come out so pixelised!

thanks for the comments everyone. however, i'm not really happy with those ones, though i do like them, but they're not what i had expected. i havent really fiddled with photomode lately, most of the shots you saw there are old ones sitting in my hard drive. except for the dc2 shots. apart from that, they're all atleast a week or two old :D glad you guys liked them though somehow. and Alex, the hachi update was shot at citta di aria. i'm starting to hate that place the more i do photoshoots there. i cant seem to get a good shot from that place ever. and the textures there are so bad. i agree with you, the last hachi i did was better than that one, as you can see from my avatar. i'm so proud of it :D my very first motion blur. your aston martin shots i'm gonna post next weekend just to tease the living hell out of you  thanks for the help on this new update btw. i tried to replicate and study the one you did, but i still can't get it quite right, if not even get close to it :( i need to do more research.
Flying Pan: when you save your gt4 files, make sure you save them straight to the usb stick, and dont bother saving them to your memory card on the ps2 first, because it automatically resizes the pictures and therefore ruins the quality 👍 also, what image hosting site are you using ? that might have something to do with it too. so just check those little things out.

Here's the DC2 updates that i promised from my last post..yes, same car. AGAIN :D though this time around it's the SPOON ITR. the first photo, i owe the lighting and most of the editting to alexwrc. I did some adjustments to it
by doing some further clean up of some rough edges on the skin, just to make it smoother, then played with the channel mixer to give it a little bit more color and that 'trademark' DC2 yellow that i usually show here hehehe.
Other than that, it's all alexwrc! he rules. the second one's all me, but i think i screwed myself over coz i'm starting not to like the angle on the picture. ah well. i let you guys be the judge, i'm off to bed :D

Nice one J!
B&w Trueno shot is spot on, suits the car well.

As for the Spoon, what can I say?
Both shots are awesome, the first is just so realistic it is pure class.

TVR: that was originally my shot, so i guess it's safe to say that it was a two way remix :D

100K: no i dont.

thanks for the comments everybody! much appreciated :D i think i've had, or still have, a run of bad low standard updates lately (except for the itr shots) these new ones might even be one of them too. just left over shots from the AE86 and Nur photoshoots that i did a week or two ago. i still find the scenery shot a bit dark, but i think it suits the whole green hell reputation of the track :D
enjoy everyone.

I really like the first shot jgda9rs, however the hail storm in the 2nd shot is an ok first attempt. But it looks more like dust.

Where's the Panda?

Well, I have to say that Integra looks AWESOME!!!
Is the hood really dark blue like shown? And how did you get that tone of yellow? Channel mixer like you said, or hue? Everything in that shot is beautiful; colors, composition, angle, reflections, everything's so neat...
I can definitely see alex's work in there, very nice work guys.

The Nurb shot is a good one, but it's a bit dark, and could use some color balance to make it more detailed.
The Trueno is not bad, but the hail's a bit small. I don't know how you do it, but if you could make the bits larger and slightly less opaque, it would probably look better.

PS: Hope you don't mind, I took a go (3min edit) on your aerial shot. I overdone some parts of it, but I really wanted to see if I could edit a decent aerial shot. Tell me what you think, it's my 1st scenery shot. And it's not even mine!!!

Niceone! How do you get the camera so high or is it the default replay camera? Anyways... Nice pictures, i love your second integra, its nice and unique and will catch anyones eye 👍

And the nurb shot is very nicely done, lots of green and forests, but i like it, it shows the size of the track compared to the ant-like car!

The treuno looks nice (though i was expecting a panda bear :( ) and the rain effect is top quality especcially the smoke!

Well done!
