nice work! That really raises the bar on what can be done with a GT4 shot

Yeah, that's just what I was going to say 👍 Good work, man!

Creation Endlessly Creating. you guys can do it too. just takes a bit of practice.

looks epic!

thanks so much :) the amount of time spent was epic for sure

I am glad people are still doing rain shots.

you bet i am. just trying to figure out different ways to do it. speaking of rain, i'm glad it's stopped pouring where i am. i find rain shots in real life isn't so much fun.

Epic. You must have put a lot of time into those two scenery photos. 👍

I did yes, it was no slouch. but the second one didn't take too long. all i did was some brush work and a bit of layering, and some clouds filter which took 20 minutes. oh and it's great to see you here again!

OH MY GOD!!!!!! Nothing more to say...

thanks nuno 👍

So original and totally awesome
I think the non-rain version more dynamic in colour comparing to the rain version, which I think it fits your style more.

thanks for the input franz 👍 i have to agree with you on that. the textured version looks very unnatural, and i think there's way too much goin' on. thanks again :)

Amazing. How did you got that camera? Both plain and rain version are very well executed, great work 👍

i just let the replay camera do the job, and then i just kind of panned it around
in wide angle. nothing special really. glad you liked it :)

I'm overwhelmed! I've never seen such creativity with plain sceneric shots. Hatts off to those shots JD! 👍

just trying to be different hehehehe :P:👍 anyone can do it really, they just have to look around and see what everyonelse is doing. the key is not to follow or imitate :D

i'm trying to integrate my real life works with photomode and see what i could come up with :D it's just too bad i don't have a real life wide angle lens yet. soon though :D Many thanks again for the input.

OMG..... Stunning...

thanks! much appreciated!!

i totally lost track of the time doing this whole thing. why do i do this to myself ? i started at 1130pm, and it's now almost 6. this has to be my 1st attempt on doing the wheel transplant.
ok, i've done a few gt4 experiments, but this is the first one i finished. the wheels are not from gt4, just thought i let you all know before you all freak out. i had a really hard time getting the front wheel to the right perspective, since it was from a totally different angle, and the car is facing from the different direction than the one in gt4 canvas that you see here. the rear wheels were a pain as well. never had to play around with the transform tool so much as i did with this one object. i even had to use the vanishing point tool to help me out. so i had to re-do the whole entire thing again. glad i started with the wheels n not the clean up! then finally the side skirts, which came off of a jgtc 350Z car, from another source. again, a lot of transform tool and layering and such. another problem i had was the reflection on the rear bumper, which is a bit of an overkill if you ask me (totally my fault :D).
i just dodged it to simulate flash :D the easiest part was putting replacing the clouds with a real life counterpart. i hope you guys like this update. for sure i won't be doing something like this for a while... phew.. hope the new members learn something here. enjoy.

For me, the back wheels don't work, I think because they are a much higher resolution than the actual car.
But if I phase them out of my mind, the rest of the picture looks incredible, especially the reflections!

I like it

I like the rear wheels as they are.. Everything is very stylish and I like the lighting on this one, too.. The background is great, importing that nice sky with the nice white clouds :D Well done, Adrian :)

Pretty sweet man! The front wheel does look a bit off, but for a transplant like that, i think you did a good job. Overall, I think you got lost in a great project. That sounds bad now that I write that. I mean that in a good way though. :D

thanks for the comments folks :) i knew the wheels were off, but i reckon it was well worth a try. the next time i do this sort of thing, and i have some projects on the way, will all be from gt4. sorry i haven't updated here since i've had a roller coaster schedule lately, and been doing a lot of travelling. plus my sister just got married over the weekend, and i ended up being the errand runner. anyways, here's my entry for the scenery competition week 9, this time with a pmc ruling. not a big fan of it, but it's ok.

and also featuring my Fish Market update :D i was originally going to enter this, but the only way to make this work is with full editting, specially because the textures on the ground are so ******. here it is, another light fest. not entirely happy with the result though.. i let you all be the judge

thanks everyone! I just wanna be original, and hopefully influence new members in terms of creativity and composition and not just relying on photoshop.

these new updates are barely editted, specially my new Scenery Comp weel 9 entry, which only got a brightness and contrast adjustment, with about 5% gamma adjustment on the minus side to hide the abberration from gt4, included is the diffused version. the last two are just diffuse glow and a bit of curve and channel mixer adjustment. "Backstraight" has a little bit of the clouds filter layered to it, just to give it a little more texture and to enhance exposure a little more, instead of just a flat, blueish overexposed photo.

enjoy everyone!

I love the style you've chosen for these shots, the soft cyan effect works really well for the wet track and gives them a very eery and abstract feeling 👍

Jg, what the hell!!!! I just saw today the RX7...****!!!!!:D

Thumbs up to the Tsukuba Wet update, we don´t see this kinda work everyday!!

The Fish Market is so damm COOL!!!! I love this one Jg!!! The lightning, JESUS!!!👍

You´re the man Jg, well done once more!!!

thanks everyone. sorry about the inactivity and rudeness in the forums lately.
i guess i just needed a break from the photomode scene. i dont know. been really busy lately as well. how's everyone doing here ? i notice nuno has gone away for a bit, hope he's okay.

What i have here is an edit of my stock, done by LGForce, hope you guys remember him.
he used to be an active member here, but school and reality is keeping him very busy lately. he wanted me to post this here, just to let you all know that he's still alive and is still capable of creating a quality work, unfortunately he's not set to do a come back. so to the older members of the photomode scene, this is LGforce's way of giving his Hi's and Hello's to the photomode forum and perhaps gtp in general. enjoy!

Of course I remember him. I was up against him in the first round of my first participation on the Photomode Tournament (PMC side). It was a great battle, and his pictures are great 👍

I like his edition of the picture, looks very clean and slim, and also very moody and creative. Best wishes to him 👍

I love this picture. I don't know him, but I can say that he's really creative and knows what he's doing. The picture is great, the composition is awesome and everything is clean and sharp 👍

isn't he great ?! :D would have been nice to have him come back. oh well. maybe in the future. anyways, here's another misty update from me :D i forgot the location, but i'm sure it's not that hard to figure out. hope you guys like this one... and yes, it's another FD :D

It's a reworked version of my pmc entry, which features soft lighting and background blur. the shot was originally a color shot, but i found the white balance that i screwed up, was way too yellow, the car being yellow did not help either. so i decided to just
put a gradient filter (a combination of 2), and get a better look. enjoy.

click on both halves to see the b/w and the semi color version.

Wow, that soft focus effect looks stunning paired with that composition. Excellent work. I actually prefer the black and white version to the colour one.
