JGTC - Season Three

Either when the last two drivers outstanding submit their times or November 1st comes when I start putting out all the results.

I managed to complete The Family Cup, three or four races in the All Japanese Championship, and all three endurance races at this point. All A-Spec, and let me say that, I am proud that I managed to escape my laziness to complete the endurance races without using B-Spec mode at all. This is a huge achievement in my worthless life. I thought I would have completed The Family Cup, and put off the other races until I remember about them by the end of the month, and rush to finish them, or list myself in the DNF. But, my success has kept me in the game full of energy. My times are very impressive, that will blow back Smallhorses mind to thinking about how much he needs to step up his A game. :sly:

Er, guys. Due to something that has suddenly come up, I won't be able to do this season, but I might be able to do the next with the same car. Sorry:(

** Friendly Reminder **

One week left racers. The one and only dead line approaches. New drivers can still join, but have only a week left to get things done.

P.S. If Crow ever submits his times quite a few races will be finalized.

Can I join ? I know it's a bit too late but I can still finish all family cups as well as Japanese hall races (maybe even some of the endurance races)...

If I can join I will pick Honda Raybrig NSX (JGTC) ('00) with 100 as a number. I had read all rules so I know
how to play, but I have only one small question - we need to post total times for each track individually, so that makes 14 times right ? But what about best lap times ?
Thanks:)

I'm sure you can join, and you only need to post your final race times, not the best lap.
Oh and i will do enduros this weekend

Yep, your in, you picked a car. Happy Racing! ;)

Best lap times I don't use, but you can keep them and brag about it later if want.

Just to inform:
Family cups as well as Japanese hall races are almost done and then I'll move to enduros. I'm so curious about how Amkobih will perform on this races because we both drive NSX models :sly:

I have submitted my results to BH-21 a minute ago. I took my time to release the driving beast beneath this skin. All of the driving has definitely increased my driving skills from level 30 to 79, on a scale of 0 to 100. That's one way I look at it. :sly: We'll see who is the better driver. Me, Smallhorses, or me.

I'd be extremely careful in writing off one inch man, he's in the fastest Skyline by far, and that's without the Pennzoil Nismo's HP advantage.
I've 30 laps of Suzuka to complete before my final submission is in, but it'll get done in stages over this weekend, barring anymore earthquakes.
We've felt 4 x 3 - 4 magnitude shakes in the past week alone! :nervous:
I'm hoping my usual consistency will help in the enduros, but I must admit after only minor AI brushes and no barrier contacts at Tokyo and GVS, I've had at least 2 full spins and a barrier brush at Suzuka 1000km. :guilty:

:D Thanks Smallhorses. But my consistency frankly isn't in existence, when doing more than 10 laps. I hope the outright speed of my car is working a bit against that fact. We'll see.

I SHALL BEAT YOU :P
But,seriously i don't think i will finish in a good place:indiff:

I'm in the same boat as Smallhorses - next to no contact with the AI/walls in the first two enduros, and halfway through Suzuka, I've hit the pit entrance wall once, and have spun out a couple times. I'll probably have it done by tomorrow, along with one more run at the JGTC Championship Suzuka - I think I can easily squeeze another 5 seconds or so out of it by now.

Tokyo R246 300km - Done!!! I'm completely satisfied with race, there were no AI touches at all and my pit strategy was perfectly executed  although I had two big spins due to decreased concentration :yuck: everything else was pure relaxation and fun too :)
I have submitted all my current results , I still need to run GV300 and Suzuka1000

What?! This is a sad day.

Can I change my car to a different one for Season 2?

I still have Suzuka and that other endurance event, that isn't Grand Valley, left. But I guess I can afford to lose at least 20 points for not submitting those times :D:D:D
Oh, sweet sweet victory

Just my luck... I finish the Suzuka Enduro, go run the JGTC race and run a beautiful 9'41.457, get online to submit my time, and... BH-21 has the JGTC results up. :ouch:

None of the Endurance races are up yet. Those are just the ones that everyone on the roster submitted times for. Matej was the last one who submitted that triggered the finalizing of those races.

Wow, nice driving one inch man!

There's a quite staggering consistency between the results, I'm generally 3 - 4s slower in the Family Cup races, and 7s slower in the AJGTC races, with a couple of notable outliers, e.g. Tokyo R246 where I'm only 1s down and the longest race at Twin Ring Motegi Road Course where the extra time to pull away left an 11s gap.

So, now some results are up I guess we can start sharing setup and tyre info?
What tyres was everyone running for Family Cups and AJGTC races?

I personally ran RSS (R5) all round for Family Cups, and either RS/RSS (R4/R5) (F/R) combination or RS (R4) all round for the AJGTC races.

just as i expected:indiff:

You grabbed a couple of podium spots at Motegi Super-Speedway and Suzuka in the AJGTC races, that's pretty impressive. 👍

I decided not to play Grand valley 300 or suzuka 1000 due to lack of time needed to complete those races so I will be more than welcome to accept DNF for these two tracks 👍
I will join next season though.

Thanks 👍
I also used R5s for the family cups, but R3 tires for the GT races. Maybe I could have used softer ones for the latter, but I don't like driving with shot tires.
