#48 Circuit Shredder

This is a very specific tune. Unless you replicate it exactly the way I post, it might not work for you. If you use it on a different NASCAR, it might not work, don't blame me. Do not use chassis reinforcement. You've been warned. Now on to the tune!

Stats when tested (Nearly half power):
498 HP - Weight: Stock - Aero: 35/40 - No Turbo - Racing Soft - PP: 565 - Using any other parameters outside the once I've given may produce undesrable results. These are the only settings the car has been tested to work with.

Lap Times:
Laguna Seca on Racing Soft (Offline - Real Grip / All assists off): 1:23.006 <-- With lower tranny, I estimate around .2-.5 secs faster.

LSD: 15/45/10
Brake Bias: 5/6 <---Adjust this to your driving style, Personally I like rear bias.

Suspension:
Ride Height: -30/-30
Spring Rate: 19.5 | 19.0
Dampers Extension: 10 | 10
Dampers Compression: 9 | 9
Roll Bars: 6 | 6

Camber: 2.0/1.6
Toe: -0.06 | 0.06

Transmission:
1/2.516
2/1.784
3/1.419
4/1.186
Final Gear/ 3.5
Top Speed Slider/180
True Top Speed: 183 MPH

Additional Comments: If you use a different car/different power or aero settings and the tune isn't working, don't blame me. It might work, it might not. The transmission is comparatively high, this is because it's for a variety of circuits. When lowering/raising transmission always bump first gear to the max as i have, second gear very high as well, otherwise the car will spin.

If you feel the tune is too "loose", there's two things you can do..First is adjust the toe to around -.15/.15 or more. Secondly bump some of the LSD values a bit. Lastly, you may bump rear spring rate one or two notches down.

Love Feedback but only if you spend time with the car.

Hmmm...I should maybe share my individual lap times...I never thought of that...Also I need to try this...Doesn't hurt to get the most out of my Nascar ;)

Just curious as to why you tuned this at only half power. I tested it out and its really not that impressive. Could be because I'm just used to running my NASCAR cars at full power.

I run in a Racing Series at this PP level. I found the stock setup to do quite well, but with this I can take off at least half a sec a lap per track. One thing I forgot to mention is, it works better on flatter circuits, rather than say Deep Forest.

What exactly do you mean by not that impressive? What's wrong with the tune? I'd like detailed feedback. Is it loose? Oversteery? Understeery? Broken? Worse than stock, etc...

It just feels flat to me for some reason, like its missing something. For me, it pushes through the corners. I wouldn't say its broken if it works for you. I tune and run NASCAR cars all the time. It is my specialty and when I seen this, I was curious about it as it is so far off from what I run. But like I said, all my tunes are at 892hp. But hey, if it works for what you need it for, then run with it.

Could you go a bit further on that? I'd like to know what's missing from it..I mean I can adjust the tune for you if you want.

Thanks but I don't need it tuned for me. I have a far better tune that I put many hours into at 892hp. I was just curious about it when I seen it so I decided to give it a try just out of curiosity. If it works for you, thats all that matters. You asked for my opinion, so I gave it to you. Now, if you want help tuning a full power NASCAR car, I will help you with that if you want.

No thanks :)
I don't run those, so I've never attempted to tune one. If I ever need help, I may message you.

I'm surprised that very few of the GT community runs restrictor plate racing...although I would hardly call low PP true restrictor plate at least it is a start.
