watch your fuel gauge in the car mate, I will share a video on here that someone posted here on GTP of a X1 running out of fuel in 2 corners,

But anyway's, here's a link to a spot race/ potential series that I have taken over,

GT500 Tuning Prohibited 300KM of Motegi

Thanks to alefin for allowing me to share this on this thread,

Watch the fuel gauge,

I didn't get to post my P1 session results yesterday, but I was running 1:43's pretty much with my Nurburg setup. Tonight I'm going to touch the settings, but not all of them so I'm guessing I should be in the 1:42's by the end of my P2 session.

I agree with tyler tho, I run the car out of gas and get my lap times consistant before I touch a setting. P1 no downforce, no settings just tire life and pit window. P2 I do settings test, and P3 I run my tires stints until I reach the lowest overall time I an achieve. And my settings are a lot like ugabugz!

Im right up there with the slow guys averaging 44s, fast laps are 43s.

Also Im not noticing a difference in the physics, tested in an online room today and my lap times are the same as before the update.

I got down to 42.8.... Seems like I'm hanging right at 43.2-43.7. There's a full second to gain on my lap time just with a better racing line.

Set up now is just some aero to promote oversteer.

Once I gain that extra .5-1 second I need to figure out the weigh distribution for the chicane in sector 3.

Man this is fun stuff!!!

I seemed to me more downforce sped up tire degradation.

My 43's were actually 42's, I was down 20hp. I'm just now going to touch the settings and tune for 5 turns, but I'll probably only best 41's unless one of the settings is worth a sec or so?,..

Tyler I will check for that I'm at full df at the moment but considering shaving 5 of the rear and front if the lap times allow it. I'm working on weight distribution 1st like you and then on to suspension. Let's see what I can find?

its not as much of a change as I thought it would be, but I have seen some post's on GTP with video's showing people doing A-Spec enduro's have serious fuel issues,

its actually on my previous post,

I wonder how I stand post 2.09, I haven't tested yet.

I'm glad they added normal and fast, because if you think the tires last to long you can speed it up so people will do 2 stop and 3 stop pit stradegy instead of switching compounds to speed up wear. Right now we are at 1 stoppers with our hp and race distance, but if we want more pitting then we can run the fast setting instead of switching to softs, which will be coming up in the season 2 interest check discussion section later on. Also I finally ran out a tank of gas and we can do roughly 220km before having to re fuel, so for next season we can go anywhere from the 160km that we're at now to 200km max if people are down for longer races. I do 175km to 200km like nothing!

I hit 1:42.2xx as my best so far, no suspension tuning yet'

Hmm, a season 2 being mentioned already? lets leave it for later  and I tend to get bored with a series after a season in familiar cars, so a complete overhaul of spec's would have to be done to keep me interested,

I like these cars a lot because of their 35/60 downforce ratio so I doubt ill get tired of them, but the only other plan I had for Sundays which I'm surprised no one has jumped on yet is the blaicpain GT series which is the same as Le Mans, but without the prototypes. But hush, hush on this!

I agree the cars a quirky and joyous to drive, but I find toward the end of a series, even though when I compete in a series I see it through to the end, I just lose interest, it gets a bit monotonous,

I run my own series, mostly the same cars, even though I introduced new cars for the 90's FIA GT season 2. So I don't think it'd get boring for me. Success ballast should keep the competition pretty fair.

Seth I love your 90's GT event especially the hp rates, but I lost my weekday racing slots or I would be on your grid!

I feel you too TDZ a lot of people loss interest after one series, but I want to practice less so if I re run the same series again it takes less practice to find speed which means more girlfriend time for me' 👍

Yeah I'd love to run seth's series, time slot permitting, but with the new tire wear options we could run lower HP classes at a shorter distance with higher wear rates,

when you set up a room you get options on fuel depletion and tire wear now, so you can have shorter races and still make people pit once ore twice,

Yeah, the new update (2.09 I think) added some extra settings for fuel and tire wear.

I don't think we're going to use any of that for the series. I think our races are already long enough to force pit stops.

Hey guys, I was talking to Joetruck and decided to join the series. I'm not sure whether I can make every round, but I'll definitely be there for round 1. I hope Veloci gets a fuzzy tummy from seeing his bestest friend join as well. I want a rematch for Cape Ring Joey :D.

Don't forget you guys need to qualify. I can't fit all of you on my friends list, so it's much better if you can schedule anything in advance lol.

Also bring more people. Room #2 is looking kind of lonely right now lol :P

My TV started smoking, so now I'm back on the SDTV, a little 24 inch screen. Sucks cus I can't get the same feeling as I can with the 40" I had. I'm not going as well with the grainy little screen.

Be happy. I just upgraded a couple months ago from 12inch screen to 20inch screen. I'd kill for a 40inch

They're not that expensive. Look for one in a few weeks with black friday coming. If you can afford a few hundred bucks you can get a really good one that's 32" for $250-$350.
