It's a wait but hey we all got our own commitments so no problem man. 👍
You guys have to get all the charts ready and analyze accidents and with us bunch racing it's probably not easy. :lol:

Thanks for the rational support Phil, I'll be on it tough tonight I have the whole night open for GT5. Phil I hope you got my VM I left you yesterday?

I'm running 1:24's in the Cusco Subaru at the moment'

I found the Subaru, Celica and MR-S all very even in the tests I've done so far. All faster than the Lexus too.

Edit - Only at Laguna though.

Why don't people get different cars then? Make this series look cool in pictures or videos

I'm changing my car, just not sure which one to take yet. Edging toward the standard Subaru as for me it's quicker at the longer circuits than the Celica or MR-S. Although the Celica is a joy to drive.

NO! go away, get your own car! :lol: the only reason I took the standard Subaru is because no one else took it, felt sorry for it, but I stuck with it and stuck it to the Lexus,

The reg's came to late in the season, people are already acustomed to ther chassis. Season 2 is where you'll see the diference.

I'm reviewing the replays now so ill get back to you guys right away!

Hey afelin or ugabugaz I'm having trouble opening the replay. do I save the whole Ps3 file to a flash drive or something?

Make sure you unzip/extract the file onto your computer it will create a "PS3" file folder. Copy that folder to your external storage like a thumb drive, flash drive, external hdd.

With the PS3 folder (and all of its contents) on a thumb drive, insert that drive in to either USB slot on your PS3. Go to the 'Game Save Data Utility (PS3)' folder, and scroll up to the USB icon. Hit X to open the USB drive, and you should see a GT5 replay file. Hit Triangle and select 'Copy'. It will prompt you that this file is from another user. Click Ok or Yes, and the file will copy in to your GT5 game save folder.

Once back at the GT Life page, open the replay folder, and scroll down to the bottom left corner. There you will find an 'Import Replay' button. Press that and your imported replays should appear for your viewing pleasure.

On it! 👍

I just caught up with all you guys treading, and so far I agree with Seth, Veloci and Zack. Seth reg's for the Lexus @ 394hp|1160kg and Veloci & Zacks comments on bringing the Lexus down instead of bringing the other cars up because there are other chassis to consider. Also I read 2 reports, 1 from Zack saying the Mr-s needs a hp gain and Veloci comfirming the the Mr-s could use the help. So I want to ask you guys how much help do you think the Mr-s needs? I'm sure the Lexus is dominating but when 80% of the drivers are using the Lexus some of those drivers are simply just dominate by nature, and it's them not the car. Example Fuji Rd Room B, Me & TDZ Dave pulled away from a pack of lexus with no problem at the 404hp|1160kg regulation. If we continue to make reg changes based off what's going down in Room A then Room B will be tainted. There is no success ballast for Room B but there is some ballast for Room A so Room A can balance out the simply just fast drivers with out affecting Room B driver too much.

Your comments plz for this section:
I down with the Lexus being reg at 394hp|1160kg if everyone else is?
Mr-s @ ?hp|?kg <--- need feedback from you guys. If it was up to me this chassis wouldn't even be on grid because of it's indifference issue.
Everything else stays the same?

Btw my race pace for Mazda is 1'24's. I'm sure you fast guys will hit 1'23's if not 1'22's. If you guys hit 1'22's then I'm going to be shock as s__t because I'm running with dave @ Mazda Raceway in a tuning prohibited race at 502hp in a Xanvi Nismo GTR and my fast lap is 1:22'5xxx. :crazy:

Slow ol' Andrew reporting that the view of the Lexus taillights isn't ideal. They're also really hard to see past. :lol: Seriously, they only need 150 hp. I don't need those silly Lexuses to slow me down.

I think the MR-S's minimum weight could go down by 15kg. That would be my choice instead of a power upgrade. Maybe it's my downforce settings, but I was only faster on the Nurb's front straight in the Lexus (236kmh) than the MR-S (235kmh). But... I ran full downforce, and it wasn't as easy for me coming out of the last turn in the MR-S.

Yeah i agree the Lexus should get another 10hp drop. As for the MR-S, I'm not to sure about that one, the top speed is good enough but it needs something done to it, weight is probably the best way to go. Although you will have to see what it then means for the Celica, It could get left behind.

well I wouldn't say we pulled away because of power or handling, more smart driving, instead of fighting for position all race we worked together to gain the gap,

as for the MR-S, well... any other car for that matter as room B is virtually a Lexus Vs Subaru room with the occasional Celica appearance, so I'm not comfortable agreeing or disagreeing with anyone when I haven't seen those or competed against those vehicles, specially when I tested all the car's prior Nordsheife at Motegi east and seen a variance of 3 second's across all chassis and the chassis I chose was the fastest for me, surprising to me the RX-7 was very slow, excluding the awful silvia which was slower again,

When I spec'd these car's prior to 2.08 and my return to the internet the car's were like this,

Celica=320BHP @ 1100KG
RX-7= 330BHP @ 1100KG
Gary= 325BHP @ 1150KG
MR-S= 335BHP @ 1090KG
S-Sub=340BHP @ 1100KG
Lexus=345BHP @ 1100KG
P-sub=355BHP @ 1100KG

And these are the spec's Wardez put up on page 5 of the thread, almost identical,

I'm not aware of any real difference between the set up's, but I have tested both version's mine and Wardez's spec's at Motegi East, West, Full and all cars were within .180 of each other in term's of lap times,

My spec's are from rough memory but I do have them written down at home somewhere, now when I looked at the initial spec's and even still current spec's of some cars specially the premium Subaru which according to my list and this series only get's a 33BHP gain while the lexus get's 60BHP gain something just isn't going to match, well in theory, and I know Joe takes into account a lot of detail when specing car's so I figured that I'm obviously a pelican at set up's on the other car's,

and I'm a little confused as to where all this Lexus domination talk has come from, didn't Wardez win in a Garaiya at Tokyo? then miss 2 weeks? and plotting a return?

Regarding the GATE specs above.
Those specs provided race wins for Lexus, RX7, subaru premium, subaru standard, Garaiya 08, Celica and BMW.

Dave, they're re-specing, because there are a lot of Lexus cars, and not many MR-Ss, and I got left behind in one.

Hows it going. I have been doing some laps in the celica last night was impressed at how well it handles nurb gpf. Not entirely happy with the lexus not after nurb couldnt set it up right or nothin was understeerin loads after I messed with it.
Gonna do some testing now tonight with all the cars and make a final decision on what im driving next time.

Hey guys, I was running with Veloci late lastnight. We put the new specs in the Lexus and he was in the 1:24's with barely a setup. We wanted to see what it would do in the hands of one of the faster guys. He still proved the car to be fast. If he put a good setup in it, I think he would have hit the 1:23's. He hits 1:23's with a few of the cars and I believe he was adding the 70kg's he has also. I finally hit 1:24's with the '08 Subaru. The cars are getting real close. 👍

I'm all for the Lexus getting the HP drop. 👍

I'm staying with the Premium Subaru 👍

New reg for Lexus IS350 is 394hp|1160kg

I just ran a best of 1:24.486 in the P Subaru Cusco (full tank tires @ Lap 6) . I'll still tweaking so maybe I can get to the low 1'24's on full tank'

If everyone agrees on lowering the weight on the Mr-s especially Veloci and plc since they driven these cars in a race, then we'll knock off 10kg. Seth i would use you 15kg down but as you know they only allow us -10kg increments.
