edit: whats a tranny? muffler?

Well, you can use the S13 almost through the end, but the S15 is a possible upgrade. A skyline is also an ok upgrade, but its a little pricey and a little too heavy. Another one I can think of is the evo3

Yeah, short battles are funny... I raced a 130HP trueno with a wrx and beat it with a 5.26
(most of the time my battles have been between 15-30 seconds.. unless its a time attack)
hey, is this the wrx u have???

ok, thx
i was just asking cuz i saw this guys at my game store and it looked crazy, so i want that car :D

also, Tri, r u gonna post the video here???

Unlocked 1st and 2nd Iroha over the weekend.

All I gotta say is HOLY CRAP!!!

I've never seen such a twisty, turning mess of road... I like it! :D

Still waiting for Akagi's slasher to show up before I get too involved on the Irohas... Starting to see R34's and FD's in the mix, I gotta earn something a little more substantial than my S14 if I'm gonna take these guys on. Especially in hillclimbs. I just don't have the horsepower to pull those hills yet.

i found that while heavy the supra is a good option for beating those guys that just seem to be way faster than you. its got a lot of tourqe which makes pulling out of the corners on irohazaka a lot easier. oh and watch out for the awd wagons, i dont know why but those are probably the hardest opponents to beat, i think its because of their weight, it lets them push you around easily, and the awd lets them pull outta corners way fast.

i have to go so slowly on iro in my s15
whenever i exit a turn my car oversteers so much.
would u ppl recomend a awd car for iro???

well between awd vs rwd its really just preference. i find the awd cars understeer to much to make them very useful on irohazaka. try a suspension setup that will make countersteering more effective that way you can counter the slide more effectively. ive got some new videos made check them out at www.angelfire.com/games5/tougerunnerfd/index.html for a video with a s2000 on 1st iro, c.t s15 on haruna, fd on akagi, and a supra on akagi. also you can check out www.angelfire.com/games5/tougerunnerfd2/index.html for a video of fd and supra on akagi.
the first video the divx encoder for some reason put black bars on the top and bottom making it like widescreen and i dont know why. im trying to fix it and when i do i will post the full screen version.

a feint drift is where you drasticly shift the weight of the car by steering out hard then back in for the turn this cause the back end to come around. an easy way to think about it is like cracking a whip. you want to whiplash the back end of the car around.

Yeah, its a sort of into the corner, out of the corner and into the corner motion.. sort of. Really big in rally, not as big with drifting, because its not easy. (It easy in KB2, just keep it controlled so you don't hit the walls nice and easy, not too fast)

i bought a evo 3 today..speed and everything was great..but if u grip..hard to accelerate during turns..u get understeer if u do..and how do i tune my suspension to drift..and shud camber to at most negative?

i usually put 1 degree of negative camber in front and half a degree in the rear. on my evo 7 what i did to help the rear come around a little smoother and help with the understeer was give 1mm of toe out in the rear. most cars you do not want to do this because it will cause a rwd to constantly want to swing out the back end. but in front drive and all wheel drive where there are major understeer problems a little toe out in the rear can help the car turn better. my suspension settings for my evo are spring rate- no change in front or rear, dampers- 1 notch stiffer in both front and rear, stabalizer- 1 notch stiffer in rear no change in front, and 5mm lower in both front and rear.

(I like the 640HP audi wagon that comes up later at aso)

Oh! That's one quick mother'. I had trouble beating him this morning - in fact I didn't beat him :(

Just playing KB2 and got thinking about the Used Car garage.

I recently bought a NA1 NSX-R before it was avalible in the new car garages and now I just picked up a GDB WRX STi Version sedan with 427ps, and that model isn't buyable from the New Car garage yet either. What's up with that?

Also I have unlocked all the courses and finihed all but the last two and I'm still only able to reach Stage 3 tune in Straight and V engine layout. In Boxer I have lv.5 and Rotary Engine I have lv.6. Again, what's up with that?

EDIT: Regarding the first part of my post - also happened with the Lancer Evo VII.

only up to level 3 is unlocked when beating courses. all other stages are earned when beating opponents that have them. im up to level 5 S, level 7 V, level 5 B,and level 5 RE. when you win the part from them it them becomes available to buy in the shop. so for example the level 7 V engine is won from a 350z, when you beat him you win a level 7 engine part as well as the ability to buy V level 7 in the shop. this is the same for everything from air cleaners to suspension.

I just try Kaido Battle 2. It really rocks! My first car was an AE86 Levin. This game really need skill on every tracks. My levin is very tuned beacause i use CodeBreaker and Gameashark lol. And in this game, they have the famous Watanabe wheel!!!!

yeah i finaly got it when i was working on beating rokko i went back to akagi and there was a team of an fd and an fc i beat them and that unlocked the fd. i think that team was around before then its just i finally beat them at that point. so look for a team of a white fd with carbon hood and a black(?) fc. you race the fd first then the fc.
