Fair enough... but if like me you don’t care about those cars, so many marginally different variations of essentially the same car seems like a waste of the resources PD has that could’ve been used to create more different cars... I know we can’t all like the same cars, and that’s fine, but I’d rather have more different cars that a lot of variations of pretty much the same car.

But I’ll stop complaining now... I’m just grumpy the weekend is over

Agreed. Having a R32, R33, R34 is cool. But I'm not a fan at all of a bunch of similar R32s, R34s of previous games since they have not the same treatment with other brands that other people like. And GT Sport is going to have less cars than previous so too many repeated cars would not be a good idea. For example I would like to see different Diablos ( VT, SE30, roadster, SV, 6.0..) instead of the ugly Diablo GT in game, but that's not going to happen and some people would even complain of the similar variations of those cars. We all have different tastes in cars but Polyphony is always going to look more to his domestic car market and the cars that made GT1 really a classic game.

So one thing i noticed is i dont think its a r33 or r32. Want to know why. The silhouette car had a front side window the mirror and the r32 or r33 dont have a front partitioned window behind the mirror. But i overlayed this time the Vauxhall Calibra and here is what it looks like. I realize that the pictures i downloaded and used may not be 100% accurate angle. But surely the evidence if a front partitioned window disregards any hope its a nissan r32 or r33. Anyone care to comment ?

Bloody loads, but I am 40 now.

As far as I'm aware, power loss for a given car starts at over 20,000 miles (maybe more) and is quite small, at least at the start. People started to notice with the Tomahawk X, because it has all of the power and people drive it to rack up daily mileage and to score lots of Mi points.

Interesting, I have never heard of power loss in GTS. I assumed it wasn't in because we don't have oil change/engine rebuild options now. Big fail on PD's part on including this useless feature again without a way of reversing it. At least most cars are quite cheap so you can just sell and buy a new one. Not that I'm likely to reach that number anyway - my perennial grinder X-BOW has just almost 3000 kms on it.

BTW, I found that if you grind in an online lobby free run (with auto drive) the mileage doesn't actually rack up permanently. You still get Mi points but as soon as you exit the lobby your car's mileage goes back to previous. No need to grind offline with rubber bands and put wear & tear on your car 👍

That's quite the Daytona Superstretch.

I think it's time for GTS to add a lot of circuits.

The vast majority are already bothered by the current cast of tracks. In other forums, I read a lot of bored people with the ten useful circuits in Sport mode.

And it's true. Let's be honest!

With the closure of GT6 servers, I think these criticisms will increase.

It's time to add not just new laypouts, not just one circuit per month, but in the coming months, we need the return of classic and original franchise circuits.

In GT6 there are circuits that were built with a good visual and could be adapted to the GTS, such as Midfield Raceway, Apricot Hill, Silverstone and A1 Ring.

Faced with this small amount of circuits, it should be PD's duty to add the Suzuka and Nurburgring layouts, such as West Suzuka and Sprint Circuit (Castrol-S + Veedol-Schikane). Oh, come on!

In particular, I can not understand why PD does not add the famous Japanese circuits, since they are there in the neighborhood and in the backyard. They are circuits full of identity! We all love them!

For example, Autopolis is only two hours away from PD headquarters in Fukuoka. It would be a circuit that should be added. Please, let's go!

Or PD could add new original circuits in the form of race tracks, such as Dragon Trail and Lake Maggiore. Anyway, what we need is more circuits!

I know many fans do not like to read questions about their favorite game, but this is the truth.

It's time!

We need more circuits!

I'm glad you're not a drinking game because with how many times I see you and these posts by you people would be dead.

I'm glad the GTS is not a religious game. Otherwise, you would be quite energetic against those who disagreed with you.

Some treat the videogame as religion. We can just say something according to your worship.

Somebody do not know how to live with the contradictory and democracy.

I agree 100%. It is very disappointing that there is no mention of any new tracks being added. It's time PD...you are way overdue on this!

Sure, I'll comment. I'm standing by my opinion that it couldn't be anything, but a Nissan Skyline as that silhouette. What you seem to be referring as a front window looks to me more like just mere light reflection off of the side window. For all I know, that could just be light reflecting next to one of the front seats behind the window. The headlights, front bumper, vents on front bumper, and rear wing all point it to being more likely a Skyline GT-R R33 or R32. Honestly, I think you're reading way to much into light reflections that are only there due to some photo manipulation.

Every time Kaz tweets his car silhouettes telling us that there’s an update coming soon, he doesn’t specify that there’s a track coming, but if you look back, there’s been a track every month since December

why would there suddenly be a mention of new tracks when Kaz hasn’t done it for the last 4 months?

You would think that after this much time, people would’ve understood

Then keep doing God's work because update teaser threads can't.

Wrong.

This is called DEMOCRACY.

I'll teach you something: learn to live with the contradictory and the opinion of the people.

If you do not like reading things that do not please your passion, go to bed and cry on the pillow.

People have the right to express their desires and opinions.

Do not harass people with mockery and derision, for the purpose of censuring them.

Great, but it won't get me back into the game until they're actually integrated into proper classes of racing. Other cars like the Diablo and Pantera are great cars, but useless for sport mode right now, and these cars will be no different.

VGT cars on the other hand, are complete garbage in any mode.
Well if Super GT is the introduction of a Gr. 2 then these cars actually wouldn't be useless.

Aren't GT3 cars really close to SuperGT in terms of laptimes and regulations? Or am I confusing this with the SuperGT/DTM comparison?

It's SuperGT/DTM comparison :)
Just to give you an idea, GT3 cars actually race in SuperGT in the GT300 caregory. The GT300 category is a class lower than GT500 (The LMP2 to LMP1). GT300 regulations are different today, but from what I remember dedicated GT300 cars are restricted to 295hp and 1100kgs (or 900kgs I don't remember exactly). Even then though these cars can compete against GT3

So I looked it up to update myself on the new GT300 specifications (I even have the technical regulations PDF) and there's nothing saying about horsepower regulations, or minimum weight requirements. Adding insult to injury is that I can't find any figures for the GT300 cars themselves :grumpy: what I did find, however, was that a Toyota 86 MC racing under GT300 regulations was able to win a championship against GT3-class cars. So there you have it, GT300 is faster (or at par) with GT3, and GT500 is way faster than GT300. So GT500 is faster than GT3 :D
