Just to give you an idea, GT3 cars actually race in SuperGT in the GT300 caregory. The GT300 category is a class lower than GT500 (The LMP2 to LMP1). GT300 regulations are different today, but from what I remember dedicated GT300 cars are restricted to 295hp and 1100kgs (or 900kgs I don't remember exactly). Even then though these cars can compete against GT3

So I looked it up to update myself on the new GT300 specifications (I even have the technical regulations PDF) and there's nothing saying about horsepower regulations, or minimum weight requirements. Adding insult to injury is that I can't find any figures for the GT300 cars themselves what I did find, however, was that a Toyota 86 MC racing under GT300 regulations was able to win a championship against GT3-class cars. So there you have it, GT300 is faster (or at par) with GT3, and GT500 is way faster than GT300. So GT500 is faster than GT3

I think the constant expectation for the same ole two tracks is quite funny. Even more hilarious is the "you owe us" attitude when it comes to the lack of tracks. Sure, THAT will make them come faster

As much as I too would like to see more tracks, I'm not THAT desperate or demanding for them, especially when it was never promised.

They would quite a significant bump. GT500 cars are faster than lmp2. GT3 lack the aero of a GT500 so a power increase would only go so far. They are also significantly lighter. Hell GT300 cars are also faster than GT3 but they do race together.

Everyone getting their knickers in a twist over what is clearly a BCNR33 V-Spec (as per the GT5/6 premium model) which for me is good as I have a soft spot for the '33, yet little mention of what variant the *BA-R35 GT-R is in the top right corner!

It clearly has the current V Motion grille so can't be the '07 or '12 models so my guess is either the NISMO road car or better still the 2018 GT3 (ties in nicely with GT Sport's sponsorship of RJN in Blancpain this year and replaces the aging '13 car in Gr.3). Could also be some sort of Tuner car sporting a god-awful rabbit kit but here's hoping its actually a useful addition to the roster!

Overall curvy-ness and more raked rear pillars, lack of amber indicators, no slatted grill etc etc

Some people need their eyes testing if they think its an R32!

Just don't go doing any police lineups as you'll incrimate the wrong person

How about an Ingame photo of a certain part of the chassis? Or a very short video clip where we just see the bumper view and listen to the sound? The former guys at Evolution Studios did a very cool job in teasing new cars.

Tuner cars in general, Amuse, Mines, Spoon, made the GT experience for me in the early games. GT2 was my first real experience of JDM car culture and I found it hilarious at the time that a yellow Civic with a cutlery sticker on the back window could rev to 11,000rpm how little I knew back in '99!

Agreed! We will definitely get a new layout of one of the original circuits. Whether we get an additional circuit i'm not sure - If we do I'm hoping for some classic GT circuits though! (I'm not massively fussed about real world circuits, although I wouldn't say no to some of them - Tsukuba, Laguna Seca, motegi)

Could be but the rear of the 2002 is much lower than the silhouette shows plus the front looks a bit more straighter on the front view plus the spoiler on the 2002 isn’t that of the silhouette but does look similar.

Every time Kaz tweets his car silhouettes telling us that there’s an update coming soon, he doesn’t specify that there’s a track coming, but if you look back, there’s been a track every month since December

why would there suddenly be a mention of new tracks when Kaz hasn’t done it for the last 4 months?

You would think that after this much time, people would’ve understood

If I'm not mistaken, the only "new" track since launch has been Monza. The others have been variations of existing tracks.

I think when they add Le Mans they'll add some Group C and more LMP with it and I don't see any of that for this update.

If we do get a new location this update i hope its for Le Mans or special route x as they are no good tracks for top speed testing yet. But deep Forest could be around the corner can't Wait for that
