Nothing major about any of that. major for you maybe.
 
i never thought they would upgrade standards to full premiums..
you know how much time they use for each car.. so it was simply not possible..


best thing for me is the track pack and if spa is in i'll not hate the guy with the joke (forget your name and don't want to search all the pages) anymore ;)
 
While all the rest is sincerely good news, that Online Time Trial Rankings is missing - is especially hard to take after the GT5P servers were retired. I guess all the course glitches have yet to be ironed out.

No mention of fixing blocky shadows and jagged smoke / dirt / water spray either...

Glad for all that is on offer in Spec 2.0 though and the DLC does appear to be interesting.

I never did a single enduro because I knew they'll add it one day.

And that day has come :D

As I sad many, many times - rushing and grinding towards LV40 and Platinum was never a good idea for ever-expanding game of GT5's scope... ;)

On the other side, what sense makes those endurance races when there is no challenge with the AI... hot lapping for 9 hrs. is crazy :crazy:

EDIT: Most things in the update should be in the game from beginning. Seems like they finish GT5 slowly but surely...

I think only shadows is "major" issue. GT5P were so beautiful. And again it's only for graphics guys like me. Many others don't even bother with it at all.
 
If you have a twitter and are happy about this update, let Kaz know so we continue to get support for this game. They listened to the community, and to me there are 8 or so game changing features, for free. Not to mention the DLC.

Wow, very pleased with this update, not too pleased that some people just can't be happy, oh well. Love the G27 support, replay controls and well everything.. Eager to hear more about DLC's... (oh God let there be more BMW's haha).
 
Just missing:

- fixed draft (adjustable at least)
- same improved physics online / offline
- leaderboards (at least to some 200-300 cars if to all is too much)
- matchmaking
- replay info (parts, tuning, car specs)

I would rather 1 free real life Skyline added than nothing added. I would rather 11 new NASCARs added than nothing added. I would love Bathurst Race Track added too. I will be crossing my fingers on that one.

Kaz, thank you. Keep adding to this game please. Maybe even surprise us with extra stuff next week. :)
 
I'm happy for in-race enduro saves, primarily, along with improved physics/AI (although this remains to be seen). I've done all the shorter enduros, but look forward to tackling the longer ones in a manageable fashion.

I'm also hopeful for what the DLC will potentially offer in terms of new tracks :)
 
I still think some surprises will be kept just for a wow factor. I am pleased with what Kaz has mentioned so far, and I would be perfectly content with it, but I do hope for a little more.

Please let one of the Nascars be a Dodge.

Would also love '11 Mustang GT500 as DLC at some point.

HUH? You have no idea, what major issues? All MAJOR issues people asked for they are addressing..... Your major issues are not everyones. Nothing you stated is even close to major, those are minor gripes.
 
This is great news but I hope for some more road cars in Spec II and/or DLC not just Racing cars as the N24 GT-R and Racing car pack suggests. I really hope the track pack incudes a test course for 400m/1000m/top speed runs.

Also looks like my current benchmark GT5 laptimes will be voided with the physics update, if thats the case I hope it's a real good physics update and not just some minor grip level deal.


Anyway, great news so far đź‘Ť
 
Well I thank PD for all their efforts going into the game, anyone caught complaining is subject to automatic PSN suspension and a free transfer to XBL.
