Are you gonna start your whining?!! They work their as:censored: off to solve this big issue and that's your response?! I wanna see what other Developers are gonna do when this happens to their games. Doubt they will fix it.

They don't need to, their DLC works properly to start with.

Quick? The fix itself isn't coming until December.

🤬 sakes. Kaz has responded in a matter of days, and has got a plan of action to sort this mess out. Creating a solution doesn't happen in a matter of days you know!

"Me me me, now now now" :yuck:

I for one am rather impressed by how well Kaz and his PD team have sorted this out. If we have to wait a month for everything to be released, that's more than fine by me. In the mean-time, I'll get on with living life. You know, outside of a bedroom and a screen 💡

Thank you Kazunori, Sony, and PD for finding a solution. It is much appreciated that you went to work on this and came up with something that will help both the multiple account people and the people who want to be able to purchase cars from the dealership. Good stuff. Now to wait for next week and then December.

Everyone bombarded his twitter with complaints, now I say we bombard him with thank you's for giving us a solution/explanation within 48 hours. Really top notch.

No news about the DLC paints just yet. But they don't really cost too much if you want another batch. Yeh yeh I know we shouldn't need to pay again, but it's an option.

I'm sure something will be done about that too. Hopefully.... :nervous:

For GT5 updates...

I could apply a Cantonese adage 「鑊鑊新鮮鑊鑊甘」 (Every time have error and new trouble)

Do you have any proof of that?

"Unfortunately, I’ve been informed that the release of the DLC in North America will be somewhat delayed" Tweet by Kaz. He didnt even know that the DLC got delayed. Sony's decision.

He said he had to get into conversation with Sony to solve the DLC issue, which proves that is Sony's fault. They changed their policy or something. Go to the gran turismo website and it says in there that the DLC is restricted to one account. If this was PD's decision there wouldn't be a fix coming would it?! Geez, some people just love trolling/hating:grumpy:

I'm not talking about the week delay, I'm talking about the cars and paint being one use only in the first place. There is nothing to say that was Sony's choice, Kaz said on twitter "The entitlement to these non-onetime DLC’s can’t be attributed to the PS3 console." So the fact they are non-onetime is the problem, but whose fault was that? PD, they made the DLC and created the 2.0 update. It also says Sony didn't force them to do it but simply that the PS3 system doesn't allow non-onetime DLC to be attributed to the console, only the user.

"but there is nothing like that in the PSN setup, and we can only assign the entitlements per User ID." Is what he said. Sony didn't force anything, it's part of the PSN/PS3 setup for non-onetime DLC.

So again, the entire problem is that the DLC isn't onetime use/payment.

Thank God Kaz will make the DLC work in a way that's actually reasonable. This is excellent news.

Thank you PD and Kaz for trying to fix this nonsense. 👍

+rep to Kaz... he's reacting a lot quicker to our problems.

Finally.

Now, where's the whiners to recognize the efforts of the man on solving our problems? That must be appreciated.

I did think is Kaz team didn't have several experiences to handling DLC concepts.

In case they use a "Paid Service" as Unlock key is their EPIC miss.

Are you lawyer?

They could in future DLC have 2 prices one for one account and the other for the "Family Pack" with a litle increase for the extra accounts(Like one account=12€ 2 accounts=15€ and so on, I think you understand what i mean), I think that this would be a good solution for people like me that run 2 accounts on PS3(Me and my son). This way PD would get some more money for their work and we could adjust DLC to our needs.

Because all of the main problems have been about the distribution of the DLC.... PD have nothing to do with that. Sony do.👍
Except that would not explain why the problem will be fixed with an update to PD's software (why would PD change their software if it's completely Sony's fault?). Or why other publishers have none of these issues. It's obviously PD who screwed up here (probably helped by Sony with their new non-one-time DLC features).

Credits for PD on addressing the situation though, they are handling this rather well. 👍

I just went from buying only the two new courses to buying the additional cars as well.

Bravo, Polyphony!

I went from

buying the track pack only (original intention)

to

not buying anything (when I heard the account-locked feature)

to

buying everything (when I read kaz's today's tweets)

Top job Kaz! 👍

PS - Now all I need from you is Road Atlanta (day/night/weather) Spa (day/night) and Sebring (day/night/weather). Nothing much, eh? :sly:

So, update in 2 months... i guess that means no further DLC's for at least next year? I'm lowering my expectations to March.
