We all obviously don't know how hard it is to model cars and tracks (unless your and rFactor modder) and also while your listening to complaints and modelling things, your trying to meet deadlines and while doing other things like GT6, GT Academy, etc.

I'm sick of waiting as well and not just for the next DLC batch. Why? Because I love racing and cars in general. I've been a dedicated fan of the GT series for a decade now and have not strayed to other titles or consoles. But I see updates, DLC and developer communication/interaction to their fan base regularly on the sister site.

It's a classic case of the "grass is greener" I'm sure. But standing on the sidelines waiting for something great to be released while I see what's happening on the other side of the fence is really disheartening actually. Enough to invest in an alternate console and game, not yet, but enough to post on a forum through a free membership, yes.

I regularly play other sims, doesn't necessarily mean "I quit GT". GT doesn't have this car of this car, no problem. I have SIM #1 over here or Sim #2 with that one awesome mod over here. Point being, I have no problem finding the car I want to drive if they aren't in GT5. There are tons of Le mans cars GT5 doesn't have. How do I fix that problem? the Enduracers mod on rFactor. No Dodge cars for the Nascar portion? Play NASCAR 2011 (Just not online, trust me). No WRC Ford Fiesta or Mini Countryman? Play DiRT 3(which I recommend over the "Official" WRC game by Milestone). And speaking of the "otherside", My cousin is so cool, he is sending me a Xbox 360 and a copy of Forza 4. Overall, I do think you have the right to express your opinion, I just don't recommend nor encourage the recent Tantrum way of doing it.

This. And you can get 1000's of mods (notably the enduracers mod for free on rFactor! It kills GT. you can also play GTR2 or GTR Evo if you want more GT cars.

Exactly, can people just stop grand standing for this game already. Really I don't understand why some people put there self out the for a game and group that at the end of the day doesn't full follow the time line they set out or claim to give us.

I don't see what there is to defend, all we can hope for is sometime in the future we will get more DLC.

Which is taking how long for them to release it exactly. I always say this to myself everyday. Does Kaz and PD even listen to their fans or come to this site? I'm starting to have my doubts. Kaz doesn't seem to care at all, which will make me want to say "fine, whatever." Then don't say something if you're not gonna keep it.

I'm pretty sure GT Academy means GT Academy, not new cars and Silverstone.

Don't even start with the speculation.

GT Academy based DLC with new track and a few car sounds pretty logical to me. If you want to qualify for the Academy, then you pay for it. Fair enough 👍

I'd rather say they have become bored with what there is to do. However, if people feel like this, then DLC really can't save it in the long run. I'm currently at 91% and I have a fair amount of races left to do but I really don't think about what there is left to do. I'm just having fun and those who don't, they need a break, not DLC. Just how I see the world.

Funny how it was never specified but again nowhere does it say "Exactly Every Two Months". Also, the time jokes are getting more and more old. We get it, they take ages to do something. We don't need it thrown in our faces the first thousand times just because according to many people, they keep delaying a thousand times.

Exactly how does setting the facts straight constitute "Grand Standing"? People are misquoting things and manipulating it just because they aren't getting what they want at the timely fashion they apparently thought they were getting it. There's expressing your displeasure for whats going on in a mature way and then there's being completely immature about it (Complemented with overuse of explanation marks). I'm not denying that PD's communication with fans is obviously not as regular as others or that they done questionable things, where my problem rests is on the immaturity in the majority of this community. You can't correct or expect to have someone correct illogical things by doing illogical things.

I love this and similar threads. Seriously there is nothing else to do in GT5? Other than weekly challenges for the last year or so, and over 1000 cars to try out on xx tracks and events if you so wish? You'd really be hard pushed to find ANY game with that level of longevity and support almost 18 months after release.

And (OK this is conjecture) the delay in DLC may well be due to them cooking up something very nice indeed, perhaps that will stop some of the complainers that x car and x track out of thousands isn't included. I'm impatient for new DLC too but sometimes perspective is an important thing. I remember feeling short-changed by GT3, then GT4 seemed like the answer to my dreams. Funny thing is that GT3 was still the best driving game around by a long way, it's just that GT2 had set the bar too high in terms of content. Seeing a trend here?
