Honestly, it does seem like it to me. After all, it's not the exact same to GT5 with the things it has that the real game doesn't.

It's meant to be GT-A I think (GT Academy) but people keep putting it down as GTA.

Just check what sub forum your in and I'm sure you'll find some correlation to either 'GTA'.

I can't remember if steering feels smoother, but everything seems to look more "crisp".

Four Tweets (so far) this morning, all answering questions about GT Academy - mostly ones we already know the answer to.

The most recent one seems to be someone Tweeting him about this GTPlanet news article and I can't, for the life of me, understand either the question or the answer. It looks like someone asking if it's true and Yamauchi saying he's not going to confirm it.

There's also a Tweet which seems to say that after GT Academy's qualifier has finished, the rewards (so far the Leaf and Silvia GTA versions) will be "sent together" - possibly hinting at a free DLC pack.

You guys may be picking up on nuance the automatic translators didn't, but I thought Babelfish's translation of the tweet was actually fairly clear:

In other words, the user asked if new cars or tracks would appear in GT Academy, and Kazunori responded that rumors of a new track are increasing and included the link to my article (that was his link, not the other user's).

Nope. It's not GranTurismo Academy.

Think about Gametrailers hijacking GTTV. It repulses me every time I hear Geoff Healy say GTTV in reverence to their Gametrailers Television. Knowing GTTV is meant to be for Grsn Turismo TV.

I don't like Grand Theft Auto. It does not get superior use of GTA

I know of Translator-san, so I wasn't sure if Kaz reads/speaks it or not. Perhaps Translator-san just keeps everything in cultural context for Kaz.
