In my case slowly over time by myself through repeted (electronic) dictionary searches and occasional drills. I still often use a dictionary, even just to be 100% sure in many cases.

I cannot consider myself a master in japanese language, but I know enough of it for my needs.

Akira, are you by any chance Translator-san ;)

This is Google translated. Shige_Todo seems to ask for a demo and KY says that he'll have to wait for the game.

So, no demo.

Excuse me, please wait for game. RT @ shige_todo : @ Kaz_Yamauchi GT5 or trial version of GT5 will not be delivered? If that is you really want!

My translation, might contain errors.

After seeing a video of the confrontation with Mr.Joey, as Mr. Yamauchi's way of walking was unsteady I've become worried. As I think Polyphony has progressing intents and skills, I hope Mr.Yamauchi is able to accomplish what he desires.
It's been a little bit harsh business trip.

Studying is (waaay more) important than GT5. In my mid school period of life I ended up playing all the time, I often think.
- Pleasure (having fun and GT5) is probably about as important as studying :)
- I think that even "having fun" properly is unexpectedly difficult.

Will it be ok to transfer Prologue data (to GT5), right?
It's not a bad idea to start from scratch, in the case of GT5.

Mr.Yamauchi, please don't overdo yourself. I think the final stages are difficult in many ways but keep at it. For GT I can wait any time!
Thanks. As who are overdoing themselves are the staff, please support them.

Will this time a GT5 demo version will be provided? If it will, I'd greatly want to play it!!
I'm sorry. Please wait for the final game.

I inform you that until the GT5 release date there are 61 days left. Wha.. two months! It feels it's finally here! I take that your people are still under stress, right?
They are. They'll be for a little bit more time.

At least he's honoring his staff and saying wish them the best. He's a good man, not taking credit for everything but giving little shout-outs to his crew! Good to hear. Also that last little bit of info is refreshing to hear as well. The fact that his crew will be under stress for a little bit more time I think implies they are still hard at work perfecting our game!

I like how the Japanese are so respectful. It's a personality trait I've noticed countless times with them.

The last sentence makes me scared :S
Thanks for translation Akira...

Kaz is a great man, just look at that picture and tell me who looks more human

I completely agree and I would say I think Kaz has a reel passion for cars and the other has a reel passion for money... ;)

I am afraid there won't be too much time left... Because the game finally has to be put on a disc...And a few hundred thousand copies (I guess that will be what they need for the first period of selling)...are not produced within 2-3 days...am I wrong?... Any comments?

I'm sorry I couldn't help it

Thanks a lot Akira.

No demo
He already told us a few weeks ago, it's a great pity by the way, it would help a lot to spend this period...
I hope that they will give us a huge amount of information at the TGS. Possibly unveil weather and some new track..

Best to start from scratch
Well, I am close to get all the cars with the Prologue with my new PSN id...
If Akira translation is correct, KY must have its point to suggest that.
I must admit that starting the whole game from scratch has its own appeal. I think I'll go that way.

thanks a lot akira! nice to read that!

RoadRunner99 I must admit that starting the whole game from scratch has its own appeal. I think I'll go that way.

you have to start from scratch!
because it is a new game. so you can feel the whole atmosphere of  GT 5.

i will definetly start from scratch!

Isn't Gran Turismo 5 on a dual-layered BluRay Disc?

If so, that's 54GB of data that Kaz is implying can play seamlessly with only a 10GB install?!?

That makes no sense whatsoever!

It will install only things that need for faster track loading (tracks, menu-photo-mode-locations, maybe cars), it won't install music, videos, speech etc.10 GB is really enough (PS3 have 256+256 megs of RAM)

3D is just a different way of rendering the same image you'd get with 2D, it wouldn't take up but a fraction of the disk space since it's just an algorithm.

This.

I don't understand why so many people want a demo this close to the release date. It's great that public demos are being rolled out in stores for more exposure but I wouldn't want a demo of the final game on my PS3 now, I'd much rather wait to get the complete game and start GT Mode from the beginning as a new experience.

Also I don't think releasing a demo on PSN would generate more sales as I'm sure there are many people who would be happy just having a taster of GT5 and wouldn't necessarily buy the full game after getting that. I'm also sure the vast majority of people who are going to buy GT5 will do so regardless of getting a demo first.

I am another that doesn't really want a demo, I am happy to get my hands on the real thing in less than 2 months.

Its because japanese society has so many rules like victorian britain if your rude society frowns upon you whilst in other places we will let it go and assume your having a bad day.
