Yeah it is a very early mockup shot.

i really wonder how old is it? same goes for those other screens and builds of GT5 at the game shows, could it be that by the time we get the game that we that things will be completely different and better than everything that we've been shown so far and Kaz is teasing us. remember the SLS Demo at the Mercedes museum had a build and install date of January 2009. 💡

hehe no i have seen your post.. I meant in regards to the above picture.

The above picture points out odd things that don't "add up". Nothing odd about the turn signals so no need to point them out.

Jay
Just someone pointing out all the odd things about the photo proving it was a fake, Kaz then confirmed it was a old mock up.

That would explain the 5 and half minute sector 1 time. But....what track has a 5:25.xxx 1st sector? Maybe one of the created tracks. Seems like it to, since the "Best time" and the S1 time are the same.

I don't suppose anyone would be willing to ask him a question on my behalf?

More or less: "The Volvo C30 was featured in the GamesCon demo. Are there plans for a better representation of Swedish cars in GT5? For example, Koenigsegg and Saab?"

I'm dying for more Swedish cars. All I want for Christmas are premium Saabs, but I'm not holding my breath.

Someone ask if A spec and B spec are two different game modes or is it poor wording on the gt website?

Can somebody ask, if the HUD is now a multi function display panel ( the same as race/road cars ) & can be switched off please. Also does torque, make the bodyshell move in some high torque vehicles.

S&S.

Approximately what's the GT5 install size? I've got a 40GB PS3.
If you have at least 256MB it will work, but if you have 10 GB available you will be able to play comfortably.

I was wondering, what's your favourite car? Also in the game, what car do you think is good?
Since it's a car I've been working on as a member of its development team, certainly the current GT-R is my favourite car. There are plenty of cars that I think are good.

I've preordered GT5~! The wait until November 3rd will be fun!!
Thanks.

Hi, from South Africa! Keep up the good work! (broken japanese)
Thanks.

On 27th I've played a demo version of GT5 at the Nissan headquarters gallery. There weren't 3D or face tracking features, but (driving with) the Motul GT-R at Madrid was exhilarating.
The light is beautiful at Madrid. It's a city I love.

Ah so will we get optional install sizes? That sounds pretty good actually.

Yay, a nice step to where I'd like to be where you have to option to install the full game to the hard drive. Better loading times and what not for people who would want that. 10gb sounds about right for optimization :)

It's still not clear if the install size will be selectable.
All PS3 games need some amount of free space to correctly work (for temporary data, saves, etc). But from what I knew, though, the most that Sony allowed for installed game data was about 2.5 GB.
I wonder if there will be a "Minimum" (almost mandatory) installation, and a "Full installation".

I doubt the install size is selectable. Its more likely 256 is the minimum the game requires for likely Save data and settings and the 10GB(optional) install to help the game run better.

Yes, I figured out that 256MB would be for the minimum game data, but I don't think that the game will be either not installed or take away 10 GB of space from the hard disk. There has to be at least one intermediate choice.

Isn't Gran Turismo 5 on a dual-layered BluRay Disc?

If so, that's 54GB of data that Kaz is implying can play seamlessly with only a 10GB install?!?

That makes no sense whatsoever!

10 gig install? :yuck: Looks like i need to upgrade my hard drive.
Same here...

I hope I can put a 160gb hdd (with windows installed since it's from my old broken laptop) in my ps3 and format it from the xmb...
