I find It interesting Yamauchi's comments, he is obviously frustrated with the leaks of information regarding track editor, karting etc. All leaks not made by an employee but a SONY head honcho...feel sorry for Yamauchi. Have a great deal of respect for PD and Yamauchi.

He will still blow us away when he shows us a trailer with footage of the nurb at night with pouring rain and lightning

We are all dreaming that.
If weather is not in, I just hope that every track will get 24h day/night cycle,
the static light of the tracks, with perfect skies with white clouds typical of GT becomes boring after some laps

Reposting something i wrte on a different forum that i think it´s worth discussing at GTP:

If they are working on these features but didn´t decided to put in, then, how will they be integrated on the game? Isn´t GT Life done by now? If it´s done, then things like racing school and dynamic weather shouldn´t be last minute decisions.

I say this because those are the kind of features that would be throughly thought out during the process of game design, gameplay design. Weather should play a major role if it´s in, it should have special events and such... witch is kind of difficult if you throw them in at the last minute.

I´ve been following this game since 1997, so it pains me to say that i´m also on the "i´ll believe it when i see it"camp, because i was there when drag racing was supposed to be on GT2, online for GT4, damage as an update for Prologue...

Sounds like some of those features are not finished. It´s a shame. Out of the four new features i just hope dynamic weather makes in. It´s the most important IMO.

Don´t you guys agree with this?

For the most part, yes. Personally I could care less about weather, but thats just my preference on the features side.

I also don't think its a question of "throw them in at the last minute".

But more of longer term of development waiting on Kaz's approval.

I think they have to meet his standard, before he will actually say it will be in the game.

I actually want weather to be confirmed more than anything else. If weather is definitely in 110% then I can't ask of anything more from GT5. Even if the 800 cars don't have interior, while disappointing, weather will make up for it.

new one:
ありがとうございます。RT @gtkings_drier: @Kaz_Yamauchi : twitterでは、山内さんに会えてうれしんだな

Transpedia translation:
Thank you. RT @ gtkings_drier: @ Kaz_Yamauchi: twitter does that I'm delighted to meet Mr. Yamauchi

Here's an important sounding one:
ネットではすれ違いがブーストされますね。まあ、誤報にせよ憶測、噂にせよ、それが語られるのは幸せなことですが。RT @daisukeazaoi: @Kaz_Yamauchi大きい組織であればあるほど単純な話の食い違いは伝言ゲームさながらに面倒くさい事態になりますよね。お疲れ様です。

It is a boost in net passing. Well, guess misinformation case, a rumor case, being told that it is happy. RT @ daisukeazaoi: @ Kaz_Yamauchi simple story about some differences if you're a great organization to be a pain just like a telephone game situation. Cheers for good work.

It's starting to sound like at least some of the stuff Yashida said is false. Or it could be that's how Kaz is playing it off...Kinda like a "What? [sarcasm]there's nothing like that in this game[/sarcasm]"

Yeah it appears to be like that. Wingu, come save us! :P

It's baffling to see (if it turns out to be true) how confusing the whole PR between Sony, PD really is.

Wingu can you translate this to JP?

"Will "standard cars" in GT5 have interior view?"

Then Jordan can tweet it again to Kaz :)

GTKings is a big GT forum in China. Drier is the owner.
After reading Kaz's new twit, not sure if he is covering up or speaking the truth.

Sony are going to look like fools if they have to retract this info.

If it is indeed false information, they better retract it quick and offer some kind of apology. They should know how the GT community scours ever crevice of the internet for new info and that we've seen it. I don't think this could be considered false advertising, but it's not cool at all.

try refreshing the page. he tweeted about 13 minutes ago. BTW, from the article, It was Toyota test driver, Naruse, who was driving the prototype Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition on Highway 410 near Nurburgring when he swerved into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with two BMW test drivers. Naruse died in the car while the two BMW test drivers survived, although one is still in critical condition.

BTW, from the article, It was a guy, Neuse, who was driving the Lexus LFA for a test run round the Ring and the other guy was driving a BMW for a road test, and apparently, they were going in opposite directions and one of them swerved to miss some traffic or something and the two collided, killing Neuse and injuring the other driver. It sounds like Neuse was a friend of Kaz's.

How did that happen? I thought the Ring is a one way track/road
EDIT: Just read the news, they were on Highway 410 near the Ring. RIP Hiromu Naruse.

That's sad news. RIP Naruse.

On a side note, I hope they put in the Nurburgring Edition of the LF-A since the normal one is going to be in.

it's not us that can't translate it's the translators that we find online. And if you CAN translate it, then how about doing it instead of raggin' on us?

I can't believe the audacity of some people.

Thanks guys I know you are doing the best you can.

Sticking characters into google translate or babelfish is something everyone can do. The people who are doing it just happen to be more interested in getting info the twitter way and follow it closely.
As far as I know WINGU is the only one who is translating some things himself, which is of course appreciated.
