...and what you've all been waiting for!
In 5th place comes vr6gti72. I like the color in his photo. There was even the extra color on the grille and hood scoop. This attracted me to his photo, and it was clear, also. The reflections on the side were nice, too.
In 4th place is justinedok. I was very impressed by the detail he captured in his shot of the Cobra. The blur of the wheels and grass gave me a good semblance of speed.
Earning a bronze finish on the podium is MR8. The Superbird shot was just awesome, and reminded me of my recent WRS event using that car. It was also a very clear shot, and nicely framed with a unique angle.
In second place is mrplo with his blue Camaro. As soon as I saw this picture I knew it would be in my finals. The blur of the road, grass, and trees added to the picture. The only thing I didn't like was the roof detail/reflection. I have noticed PD do that to a few of my pictures, too. Otherwise the shot probably would have won.
The gold award goes to
atlop for winning the inaugural week of my muscle car photo competitions. This was a photo that can be easily overlooked at first. However, when I saw it full size my jaw nearly dropped. VERY nice work! 👍
The other 5 finalists in my top 10 are Z., Tonioseven, Scaff, jmx2222, and franz.
Now you see what type of pictures I like. Most of the finalists did simle things or almost nothing at all to their pictures. This is not a hard competition to do, nothing where you need to spend hours to be competitive. I'm looking for a natural look without lots of aid from photoshop. Like a good looking woman, they usually look best with a touch of makeup, but too much makeup and they look like anna nicole smith 👎
