Kenny's Muscle Car Competition Week 1

OMG,
@ franz, I know you can edit very well, and know thats about the only thing you do lol, I only see you posting in picture or editing threads;) Anyway, you got some basic brighten up tips? I always want to get cars that shiny, but I aways do it with the photoshope "dodge" tool, wich is wrong isn't it?
thanks for the compliment ~
editing GT4 pics is my hobby right now :D
for the tips ... I just turn up the brightness and contrast 30+
adding colour filter and smart blur a bit to make it looks clean
sometime I play with level ... but its kinda uesless to me

...and what you've all been waiting for!

In 5th place comes vr6gti72. I like the color in his photo. There was even the extra color on the grille and hood scoop. This attracted me to his photo, and it was clear, also. The reflections on the side were nice, too.

In 4th place is justinedok. I was very impressed by the detail he captured in his shot of the Cobra. The blur of the wheels and grass gave me a good semblance of speed.

Earning a bronze finish on the podium is MR8. The Superbird shot was just awesome, and reminded me of my recent WRS event using that car. It was also a very clear shot, and nicely framed with a unique angle.

In second place is mrplo with his blue Camaro. As soon as I saw this picture I knew it would be in my finals. The blur of the road, grass, and trees added to the picture. The only thing I didn't like was the roof detail/reflection. I have noticed PD do that to a few of my pictures, too. Otherwise the shot probably would have won.

The gold award goes to atlop for winning the inaugural week of my muscle car photo competitions. This was a photo that can be easily overlooked at first. However, when I saw it full size my jaw nearly dropped. VERY nice work! 👍

The other 5 finalists in my top 10 are Z., Tonioseven, Scaff, jmx2222, and franz.

Now you see what type of pictures I like. Most of the finalists did simle things or almost nothing at all to their pictures. This is not a hard competition to do, nothing where you need to spend hours to be competitive. I'm looking for a natural look without lots of aid from photoshop. Like a good looking woman, they usually look best with a touch of makeup, but too much makeup and they look like anna nicole smith 👎

I've seen so many cars go aorund that corner, drifting, and with exactly the same camera angle, WITH EXACTLY THE SAME RESULTS: FIRST PLACE! I don't really like that.

WHAT!??? I got selected first? :) Thanks Kenny, I did not see this coming! Wow. Let me say thanks again! :dopey: :dopey:

G-T-4-fan, I know that picture is not the most original, I just tried to do something that looks good in it's own right, if you know what I mean. I have not been doing this for very long. But I promise to try some other angles next time around!

And by the way, good work everyone. I especially like the 3rd place shot, and others with the same car.

You're welcome guys. :)

G-T-4-Fan, I personally don't even know what track or corner atlop took that shot at, and I haven't seen many pictures similar to that. Besides, this one was very clear 👍
