For me, we do not need current Group 3 cars, but only some missing from previous seasons like Ford GT GTE, Ferrari 488 GT3/GTE and Porsche 911 GT3-R, but Group 4 is more complicated, there are many more cars, as for street cars, there are several cool/iconic models that can still be added, including some present in previous games, in order of priority, the game still miss many models, like GT1, LMP2, GTO, DTM and Group A, B, 5 cars, in fact, i do not care about police cars or safety cars, but we know that some users miss these vehicles to make their races more realistic..

We’re getting the 993. This means we only have three generations of 911 that haven’t been added to the game yet.
Those would be the new 992, the early ‘90s 964, and the ‘60s/early ‘70s 911 or 901.

I would hope for a 392 instead of a hellcat but are there 392 police chargers with the hoodscoop and the rearwing?
Yes, 392 SRT Chargers also have a hood air inlet and a rear spoiler. The spoiler is the same on R/T models and up, while the hood is specific to SRT models.

You know, this post made me really appreciate what Porsche has done with the 911 and how amazing the evolution of its style has been while keeping the core design idea.

With all these recent Porsche and RUF models being added, hopefully we eventually get a 996 GT1, CGT or 918. Or a CLK-GTR

The cop cars are pretty random but as mentioned the GT series is no stranger to bizarre cars + police car are frequently recreated in online lobbies so getting actual police cars would be a huge addition, even though they will more than likely be in group X.

Ohhhh, just realised there is a Nations N300 race on CHristmas Day. If we are getting the cars this Wednesday or next Tuesday, I'm definitely tuning the Crown road car for that race.

Please tell us more about this "Toyoya Crown" DLC, as if PD would spend 6-9 months each on modelling and rendering said car over what is quite obviously an E43/E63...
I am with you on this...

My knee jerk reaction upon seeing the tweet is the pair of Mercs...

I don't see how these are Crowns ... But then again, I don't know how the Toy Crowns look like...
Nope, can't possibly be a Toyota Crown at all. These are totally E-Classes. Not like a 5 second google search would show that the silhouette doesn't match the Merc at all and disprove this theory or anything.

Depends on your time zone. It's late on the 17th for me. (Arizona)

So you can load in the night. In Germany I will wake up early in the morning and starting the update for playing at the afternoon after work. I prefer a download over night like you

Here in Brazil the maintenance is from 1am to 3am on the 18th. At least that's good for those who can stay awake a little longer.

I'm from Brazil as well and the maintenance time for me is from 12pm to 2am. Most likely because i'm at the north part of the country

Hopefully the addition of 3 new emergency vehicles will finally give us the option/function/button to turn the emergency lights on/off, while we are driving.

At the moment, the only place where we can control the lights is the Scapes.

In my opinion, they should restructure how we control the lights and other functions while we drive.

Let us continue use the d-pad for lights and wipers, but also give us a function button that when you hold down on it, lets us choose other functions from the same d-pad, like this: plain d-pad up -> high beams on/off, but, hold function button + d-pad up, roof mounted lightbar turns on/off.

Also, merc sucks.

The only thing i have against the Cop / Pace cars is the effort PD did in those cars and no in others a little bit more useful

This update let me think:
1) Pd seems has stopped to update previous GT5/6 premium models....they are much focused on new cars
2) the last updates have seen previus cars modified in some parts (lamborghini, gt86 and police cars)

I sense a highly ridiculous amount of Blues & 2s heading our way.

That's affirmative sir. :D

The Police uniform craze, will sweep the Latest Suit Livery selections.

Aw damn, I completely forgot about the driving suits.

I would hope for a 392 instead of a hellcat but are there 392 police chargers with the hoodscoop and the rearwing?

No. The police spec Charger only tops out with the 5.7L (345) Hemi V8. They do have an AWD option, though.

MMX
I plan to make use of that Charger, and recreate my local cop cars. I already have SC State Trooper decals that I used on the GTR a while back.

Same here. I just need a couple of logos & I'll be ready to stripe it.

One more thing about the Charger specifically: PD didn't need to scan a police vehicle. As many of us have surmised, they likely used the Hellcat Charger & used photos that are freely available to add the lights & push bar. Perhaps the same situation can explain the Crown & Megane.

Anybody know why there are so many emergency vehicles (pace, police etc) and other group x cars? They aren't used in any class of races and hard to compare to one another.. Is it for local vs gaming or what? Or to make it easier to beat the campaign mode?

Imagine a daily races and just seeing police cars with blue lights, but nobody cares for the signal. The sound will be very nice in the replay
