So, does anyone have a 7:06 ghost replay using a 550pp Gallardo they can email me? The version of the game you're running has to be North American NTSC, I just found out. I got one from Stotty, but since he's in the UK, his replays can't be used in America (or Asia).

My best is still only 7:12 and 4th place, I simply can't get any more seconds shaved off without crashing somewhere, which costs me even more time on the lap, obviously. My last hope is to practice with a ghost.

This may help

As requested, here is a lap of the Nurb in the Gallardo. Not my fastest and not my cleanest, but a time of 6:50 still.

The more interesting part is that the car is almost entirely stock - the suspension, differential, weight, ballast, brake bias, tuning parts etc, everything is stock. The only thing I did was tweak the gears a little, and that's it.

Yeah I figured, it must have been the SRF that helped me maybe?

Yeah, the SRF made you a lot faster, and the TC made you a tiny bit slower. So really it was the SRF, yes. But with TC the stronger it is used the more it will slow your car down.

Nope, YouTube videos cannot be used as a ghost replay.

I am looking for someone who has a decent ghost of a Gallardo with 550PP doing better than 7:12 on Nurburgring Nordschleife...

If you are this person, PM me. Pleeeeeeeeease.

I hate this seasonal, I hate Lamborghini, I hate everything regarding this event :banghead:

My best time is 7:13: something and I have finished 3rd behind two MIURA's. I have tried various set ups, I am using SRF, I am giving everything and still 8 sec behind leader...
Please if you have tips and tricks for doing Nurburgring, share them with me.

THANK YOU

I also can't gold on Autumn Ring and Nurburing. Tried everything. I could only get silver in this 2 events. The other 3 I got gold already.

My first try at this seasonal, went straight to nurb with fruitys tune as a practice run. Didn't adjust the gears and came in second 1.083 behind the lead miura. Didn't have the top speed to catch it. Gonna adjust the gears maybe today and see what happens.

Tried shifting weight for a 50/50 balance.?
That helped me getting better handling and golding these two.

What's a good car to use on this? That I can buy not win? I don't mind if it isn't easy to win I like a challenge

I thought its just lambos?

That's the point. You can only use Lamborghinis. So you pick your favorite. I use a Gallardo. I tried the '88 Countach and the '74 Countach and a Murcielago Superveloce, but they don't seem to work for me. I don't own an Aventador or Miura at this time.

The Gallardo seems to have the most available tuning suggestions as well.

I am not doing well on the Nurburgring, having improved from 7:12 and 4th to 7:09 and 3rd last night, and I think I did the event 40 odd times now. I still wipe out, ride on the grass and even hit the walls in some spots, so I know that if I ran it cleaner, I would do it under 7 minutes, I just need to run it a few more dozen times I suppose. Hope it doesn't frustrate me into launching my DS3 into my plasma screen. I felt like it several times already.

Since I have no better options, I "memorized" where to pass which car(s) from this video, suggested to me recently by Bonio. It's not what I'm after, but it helped me figure out that I should be well in 10th place before I slide around 9th and 8th at Aremberg and approaching 7th and 6th before Adenauer Forst. That shaves about 4 seconds of my total alone, but then I pass the other cars in spots where I have not encountered them before, like 5th place on Kesselchen, passing them at Klostertal, then I'm supposed to pass 4th at Karussell, but by this point my tires are too worn and I lose it...

I'll keep at it until I either win this or burn out...:ouch:

I did testing on the test track of various Lambos at 550pp. The Gallardo had the best acceleration and the best top speed. I concluded that it was therefore the best candidate for the Gold. I was successful in getting the Gold with the Gallardo.

With this setup I'm running at 557pp and had to crank the engine down to 94 % hp to get it at 550pp. Doesn't have the top speed to catch the last miura on the nurb. Gonna try adjusting the gears to a 210 top speed and see how it goes.

I did all these with the Miura although the Gallardo with Fruity's tune seems to be the car of choice. If you fancy a go with the Miura I can stick it on share for you.

Haha Stirling you legend that would be great mate :-)

ok, done. I'm not sure if when you borrow a car you get the settings sheets or just the current set up, but there are two tunes. One is Praiano's which is great for everything except the Nurb. The other one is a bit softer and higher and is good for the Nurb, not easy though. The Toscana track is huge fun in this car and winnable down bellow 450PP. Have fun.

I already have the prize car, so this is just another money grab (or money grab attempt).

* I could NEVER surpass a 20-second deficit at Rome Reverse. I'd probably wouldn't erase that defecit if I was racing Rome from GT2 and GT3. All I could manage was 8th, and part of that was because I intentionally wrecked someone who rammed into me like I wasn't s:censored:. I tried it first in my Gallardo followed by racing this track in my slightly downtuned Murciélago.

* Now for a track I KNOW I'm good at Special Stage Route 5. I tried at once, but then immediately quit after one lap.

I have had bad luck with mid-engine/4WD cars in this game about as much as I've had bad luck around Tokyo R246 and any Nürburgring course. So I'll pass on this Seasonal. Salty GT veteran like myself feeling like retirement home material right now with these most recent Seasonals...

I've only tried the Galardo and Miura, I'm not a great driver as I am only a casual gamer.

Just check that you are using sports soft tyres! That could make quite a difference, the other is having the fully customised transmission ans then setting the top speed to match the track.

and then to keep trying, and trying ...:)

On Rome I found I made up the most time coming off the cobblestone to the 90 degree left turn approaching the collosseum and then not slowing down like the other cars but going about 120mph and THEN slowing to 70-80mph to round the Collosseum . I passed absolutely every single car in that stretch, by lap 5 I was first. No problems. If you got that much trouble running this seasonal then there must be something seriously torqued about your driving, no offense. There must be something seriously wrong with my driving too. After all, I've completed every single seasonal race with gold, except Lamborghini on the Ring, and the worst is that I can't blame the car...

Does the Miura work. I have 20m and I am wondering if I should buy plz tell me

If you have 20 million then buy it, you can't collect more credits, spend, win, spend more. I'm keeping my Cr. count to have enough for a Chapparral 2J when I see it in the used cars, aside from that I have enough cash flow to be able to buy every car I can, just cause I can.

It appears to me that the Miura doesnt handle well enough to win this starting in 12th place. I think if the Miuras started in 3rd and 4th, they wouldnt win the race. The AI drivers are all equally useless on Toscana where I often saw several Miuras and Countaches involved in pileups, and once a Gallardo passed one, the Miura was not able to overtake it again. In a few other races, the Miuras start in pole but a Gallardo wins, even if I'm not 1st. Judging by that, the Miura probably sucks, but I'll buy one anyway, it's just not on my priority list. I just love Lamborghinis. I even chromed my Countach although it's not my favorite car. It's just sexier that way.
