Have not done better than 4th at the 'ring with the Gallardo.

Tried changing a few things, a little more hp and less down force. Also messed with downgrading intake and air filter to set a higher engine %. Get less ft lb/tq but more hp.

This is turning into a nightmare for me. I have already given myself a day between attempts. Aside from the fact the rabbit 400s are well above the 550PP mark I have tried every Lambo there is. I easily won SSR5 with the Super Veloce so I thought this would be easy as some are saying.

I have tried numerous tunes from this thread and 1 of Priano's tunes with out a win yet. I have the Muira 400 on another account. Does anyone have a tune for it? It is the lightest of all the Lambos so I think that this is the car it just needs a good basic tune base for road/city courses.

I use a DS3 and my driving style is very late braking. I mostly use automatic because I have yet to come up with a comfortable button mapping for manual transmission though I do use it in regular A-Spec type events. I have won every seasonal to date except this one. I would appreciate the help. I really don't care about the prize because I have 6 between to accounts it is just the satisfaction of winning the event.Thank you in advance

Set transmission to about 200mph since the leading cars on the straightaway only hover around 180-182mph.

Use sports soft. You're allowed to.

You need to run a 7'06 to literally pass the last Miura at the finish line.

I managed to gold Rome and SSR5 (don't forget to turn brightness up) with a Praiano tuned Super Veloce, and Autumn Ring with Fruity's tune, except I opted for ECU and Sports Air filter instead of aero, which I think is what's hurting me on the Ring. Gonna throw the SV at it.

Important Note: the SV only has non-PP upgrades and 200kg ballast @ -25, and 91.6%PL and counting since I bought it new

Dude, scroll up about 6 posts, there is an explanation about different wheels and oil change hth :)

Ah my bad :indiff: I wasn't sure if it those posts related to the same tune or not plus its still early and I've not got enough coffee in the system to stop me being a dumbass yet, i'll try some new wheels an oil change and I'll try to see whether I need to set the power limiter before or after setting the gearbox ratios.

The best I can do on the Ring is 7:12.54x with Shmogt's Superveloce tune, and that's the best behaved Lambo I've tried so far. I'll just try until I get 15mil. cr I guess.

Gonna try more power limiter and less ballast next.
Just for reference on the LP 670-4 SuperVeloce:
Installed parts are everything from fully custom trans down in tuning shop (no PP-adders)
126.0mi (or ~10 laps on the 'Ring) just changed oil is at 582PP
This got me to 550pp:
0 ballast/ 78.3%PL = 538hp, 500ft/lb
100kg @ 40 (45/55 dist)/ 81.6%PL = 560hp, 502ft/lb
200kg @ 40 (47/53 dist)/ 84.9%PL = 583hp, 505ft/lb

I think I've tried every Lambo that will go into this event (The Nomad Diablo won't, sadly...); the Miura does great on the long fast sections, but tends to fall down a bit in the twisties. The SuperVeloce is just the opposite for me - great in the bends, but the others run away from it on the straights.

I haven't tried the Miura. The only problems I really have are the car going off when I least expect it, the fact that if one wheel hits grass the car goes everywhere, and (I don't care how many people comment on how the AI have been improved, the fact is: THEY HAVEN'T!) whenever I try to pass, they get in the way, even if they are massively slower, and when I do get by them at a perfectly fair time/ place they decide to hit me!! That's not improved!
I'm getting closer though :)
/rant over

edit: I finally got 2nd place, but, only because I got hit before one of the chicanes and ended up "saving" the wreck by going over the grass and "drifting" right behind the next set of cars.

Hi guys, I have problem with Nordschleife as many of You, (every other race was quite easy for me after setting up my Gallardo) tried everything, every Lambo, many setups and my best result was 2 position, 1,7 sec behind the leader, with Gallardo using:
the tune I use is:
LSD:
Initial, Front- 15, Rear- 15
Accel, Front- 25, Rear- 30
Brake, Front- 35, Rear- 40
Suspension:
Ride height, Front: +10, Rear: +10
Spring, Front: 10.0, Rear: 13.0
Dampers ext, Front: 7, Rear: 7
Dampers Comp, Front: 5, Rear:6
ARB, front 5 rear 6
Camber, Front: 3.0, Rear: 2.2
Toe, Front: negative 0.20, Rear: negative 0.30 (Click to the left for negative)
Brake balance: Front: 7 Rear: 4

This is my Nurburgring setup but it also seems to work okay around smoother tracks.

Setup is a personal thing but would appreciate your feedback madmike

Damo

This setup works superbly for me, as from 7.13-.15 i dropped to 7.07 but still it's not enough... I think its now down to getting all the turns best, i've tried more than 20 times. Maybe I'll be able to finish this challenge before 30 try :D Has anyone got any suggestions? With this setup car seems to be 500kg lighter than it actually is... drives lovely apart from 2-3 turns when lacks of downforce... Advices highly appreciated :)
Update:
Tried also with SuperVeloce '09 and it's much heavier than Gallardo, but has a rear spoiler which improves stability on fast turns superbly, anyway I was able to achieve similar lap times...
Sorry for my english :)

When some of you all refer to track as the Ring which one is it?
what is a "carbon prop" in fruitcakes setup. BTW as of right now I have second and third place in the first 3 races.:sly:

No worries dude! I didn't even know that different wheels could affect the ratios! Your tune has got me 4 golds thus far so thanks. Me getting a gold at the ring will not happen in a month of Sundays though.... Good job I've got the Diablo already!

GLAARRRRRRGHHHHHH!!!

I bought ANOTHER brand new Gallardo just so I could set it up exactly this way...

So close! I was up to third place, just a few seconds back, before the Karussel (6th was as high as I'd ever been at this point), running up on second place going through a bend, when I put one outside tire just on the grass at 150mph - BOOOM! - instant spin, over-correction, another spin the other way, and nose into the wall. By the time I recovered, I was in 5th place, 12 seconds back. :(

This is the right set-up for me, though. I can feel it. I'm shaving off a full second in the first sector alone over my other cars and set-ups. I'll get there, but I'm having a hell of a time stringing a clean lap together!

I was able to win all the races using a completely stock LP670-4 SuperVeloce using the power limiter to reduce it to 550PP. This car had the best handling of the three cars I tried when using the stock suspension. All the races were fairly close except for Toscana where I won by 24 seconds.

As requested, here is a lap of the Nurb in the Gallardo. Not my fastest and not my cleanest, but a time of 6:50 still.

The more interesting part is that the car is almost entirely stock - the suspension, differential, weight, ballast, brake bias, tuning parts etc, everything is stock. The only thing I did was tweak the gears a little, and that's it.

Great Video 👍

sorry dude but i dont believe that this car is stock - or you use slick tires or something...you are doing a lot of mistakes any are overtaking them anyway fast as hell.

if possible please post all settings you have done, ill try them out.

by the way, does anyone know if the tranny trick is still possible? i heared that since 2.0 it were fixed or something...

Well that's up to you to believe, but look at the way the front end is bouncing around and the understeer that the car is constantly suffering from, that's because the suspension is stock, and that's why I'm purposely trying to get the back end of the car to slide, so that I can force the front to turn in.

And how can I use slick tyres when the seasonal is limited to Sports Softs?

Haters are going to hate, no one ever believes what I do even when it's in video form, until they actually race me online in spec races - using cars from the online recommended garage, or until I decide to do one of the Time Trials. And yet the funny thing is, there are much faster guys out there than me. I don't consider myself an "Alien", especially when I've raced first hand against some of the top players. Soon makes you realise just how much you can get out of a car when you see what those guys can do.

awww...okay, okay I believe you :D so how much would it cost me to bring you to germany and let you drive this race and win it for me? ;-)

If I have to rely on dirty driving to win this event then I'm not taking part. I don't use aids and I don't punt or go off track. I'll just find another game to play.

So, in other words, you're taking your toys and going home, lol.

Seriously tho, not sure where you get the idea that you have to do them things you mentioned to win the event. There are lots of people who don't drive dirty or use aids and they do just fine. If its your skill level thats holding you back, just keep trying, your get there.

Hi,
as I can see in the video this Gallardo isnt' stock, because you add a wing !

that's the trick on the Ring 👍
I have try without and no chance to win;
With the wing installed this car is a blast
