Lamborghini in GT5!

I read it somewhere. I think on Gamespot or somewhere. But, I could be wrong. They way I heard it was that PD had gotten permission from the racing team to use their car, but not permission from Lambo/VAG to use the brand name, which is why it was just the Diablo GT. But when VAG found out about it they yelled at PD for using the car without their permission and so PD respectfully pulled it.

The way I heard that, it was Lambo who was upset, and not VAG, so I think the whole thing is just a rumour to be honest.

VAG wasn't upset. Lamborghini was. Lamborghini had not fully agreed to license the car when PD had the car already unlocked in the Japanese version, causing any other versions to lock the car when the manufacturer found out.

I do also think it was Lamborghini because in the end of the day the manufacturer is the only one who decides wether their car is implemented in the game or not.

if pd or get lambo or porsche they will no doubt bring it in a prologue update without telling us, if you loaded up the game and saw lambo or porsche there you would have a heart attack.

I can't help but think their model lineup wouldn't be but a dozen if Lambo were included - unlike Porsche and Ferrari they don't have the long lineage of race cars, aside from the JLOC racers and Reiter Engineering's FIA GT entries.

If Porsche or Lambo does arrive, it will be in FULL GT5 game. They can't tell us everything in PROLOGUE yet. Waiting is the fun part too.

Yeah that's right I like the suspense of waiting to see what PD is up too.:D
I like the fact that PD keeps information under wraps till the release, it makes for a really stunning release!:)👍

I was looking at the Midnight Club LA game today, and they also have Gallardos, Murcielagos and even a Miura. This is a game you can visually modify the cars in, so again, I see no reason that Lambo can't be in GT5.

Good news, and incase you miss it in that now very busy thread of yours, well done and thanks for sharing that info 👍.

Ignore me, it was clear English, it was just directed to the wrong person. I had several tabs open and meant to reply to a similar post by super_fla in another thread :).

gt5 is still years away. You never know what could happen by release.
Uhuh, so that's why KY said in his recent interview that GT5 will be launching sooner than we expected, and laughed at the proposed 2010 date presented? Yup, must be years away then.

I say mid 2009. or earllier, but yea back on toppic, like john said the big three Porche, ferrari, lamborghini GT has ferrari, and pretty much porche, so im 92% sure lamborghini will be in gt5. i mean why wouldnt lamborghini want to be in gt? you see how kaz had no problem for ferarri agreeing, and ferrari is way more exotic than lamborghini imo.

Killershadow's comments were made on Oct 8, way before the information from this latest interveiw was available, infact previous sources pointed to a late release of GT5 so at the time it was posted, it seemed like quite a reasonable assumption at the time.

It doesn't have so much to do with how exotic a car company is, it really depends on a car companies standards and when it comes to computer games most companies have their own different standards regardless of how exotic cars they make.

This and Porsche will be much contraversial manuufacters if they or they not go into GT5. But something you got to remember is, there was a lambo in GT3.
. Unsurprisingly, it was from the JGTC. Now a days, there are Lambo's in Super GT's GT300 class, two from the JLOC or Japanese Lamborghini Owners Club. Keep that in mind when choosing if they will include Lambo's in GT5.

I would prefer the GT1 Murcielago since it's specs would be better suited for the Nurburgring or La Sarthe. And if they capture the sound these things make...That would just be glorious.

And IMO, they look better than the Super GT cars.

Yeah the sound would be fantastic, but there arn't really any modern day GT1's in GT. The closest thing to modern in the Corvette C5-R, and the model is from '02 I think. So, in all probability, some of the "New" GT1's will be added, like the C6-R and the DBR9, but I'm not sure that the RGT will be added, since only two teams used it in GT1 racing.

The Gallardo and the Muricealago are both used in the Super GT.

In fact, there are two Gallardo's in Super GT.

Ahhhhhhhhh guys I remember seeing the first pic of this car in a magazine and i totaly went nuts!:dunce: Like noooooo way finally!!! A Lambo! (yes i LOVE Lamborghinis). And than later, one week or so before the release of the game i read the first european review of it and they said it's not going to be included in the final european and american version but instead we'll get a f..ing lame Acura RSX with 219 hp or so.:yuck:
I was soooooooooo dissappointed. That really sucked, no seriously it was like a punch in the face. -.- :grumpy:

I think both look great. I look at it the same way i look at group 4 and group 5 from the 70's.

The GT1 are mild and beautiful.
The SuperGT are wild and outrages.

I hope many of both make their way into GT5.

It would be a great shame if Porsche/Lamborghini are left out.
