Lamborghini in GT5!

Unfortunately no. Don't expect anything until about 2-3 before GT5 is actually released. I actually have a good feeling about Lambo and Porsche. I think given the recent downturn of the NFS franchise VW group will realize that GT5 is a better venue for their products. A Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo battle would make GT5 a dream come true.

I hope your right...however it's not just EA that has been getting the licenses somehow. Look at Forza and Turn10, or even the makers of Ferrari Challenge...there next installment, SuperCar Challenge, has a ton of the most known modern supercars in it (based on screenshots)...such as the Bugatti Veyron, and I thought I saw a Lambo in one of the screenshots too.
So if companies, such as the ones making SuperCar Challenge, can get these licenses, why can't PD? And I know it's about the money for the most part, but obviously these manufacturers are not exclusive to just EA anymore, but PD is a subsidiary of SONY, so it seems like they would have the dough to fork over to include Porsche and Lambo....and since it's one of the most successful console games ever, I'm surprised Porsche and Lambo haven't already been added. If the manufacturers were smart, they would do so.
Who knows, maybe they've already been added and we're in for a great surprise later this year...here's to hoping 👍

I just submitted this story to the news section. By the sounds of things it looks like car manufacturers are winning big off of video games. Think of what Playstation and GT did for the GTR, Evo, STi and the plethora of other imports. One could argue that the tuner market would not be the same if it was not for video games. Like I have said I believe that Lambo and Porsche will join GT. Once the PS3 picks up a little more steam and GT gets like 4 million preorders world wide it would be insane not put your car in GT5. If not on release than certainly in DLC.
BTW I REALLY hope they get the Saleen S7 right this time. It is America's supercar and in GT4 it sucked. In real life it is a beast. If PD puts the S7 twin turbo in GT5 I will enjoy destroying Enzo's and just about anything else.

As tight mouthed as PD is about things, this would not surprise me in the least.I have a feeling that PD is going to throw out the big one once GT5 comes out , lots of surprises , cars and tracks.

Uh lets see. From Saleens website (feel free to look at others): 750hp, 700lb-ft, 2950lbs, 0-60 2.8-3.4s, 0-100 in 6s, 1/4 mile in 10.5s, more vents than a cheese grater, more downforce than Jesus and about 1/2 million dollars. If that is not a "hpyercar" I do not know what is. You may also want look at Mosler and SCC. They both produce some of the worlds quickest cars. SCC just built a car that took the top speed record from the veyron. The concept that America does not produce good cars is a myth. And among the cream of the crop is the Saleen S7 Twin Turbo.

well its a ps3 so ofcourse they would add more car manufactures,
also a ps3 is HD and has alot more realistic physics than the ps2 so i have hope...
+ lambos r competing against ferrari and they want there sales 2 go up by alot so all car manufactures should think agian about putting their cars into a a real driving simulater DUH... remember its all bout the money =)

Really I could have sworn they just have new owners. They have not closed down and in all likely hood they are in better hands. Who can blame them for financial troubles. Our country has seen better days and everyone is hurting. Especially low output high cost performance car manufacturers. Please leave your bias at the door. If you think America is "only good @ adding more horsepower" well then you are mistaken. Take a look at the ZR1 a car that costs 100k and performs on par with most high cost super cars. Or the Viper ACR which holds the top spot at the Nurburgring. If power was the only thing we were good at these cars would not exist. Also your complete disregard for any attempt at being grammatically correct tells me you really do not care. I am not trying to start a conflict but you really need to get your FACTS straight before you make senseless statements.

Hi paskowitz, I agree with you that the Saleen S7 is a great American hyper car, the facts prove it.
But i disagree with you in the point that it sucked in GT4 lol. For me, it felt really fast, it was very much fun do drive it hard, especially without asp or tcs and it was not hard to keep it on track. After having finished the game I started to test every car in the game, as i did it with gt3 (a lot of fun:tup
.Than i just tested the sportscars on Twin Ring Motegi roadcourse (the longest one) and I tested them accurately (at least 7-8 laps with each car), and with the S7 I did at least 10. In the end it was on place 10 of ALL the supercars in the game, which is not bad at all and shows that this car does not suck in GT4 as you stated it lol. Here is the list, if you are interested: 1. VW W12 Nardo Concept (01)=1.54.389 / 2. Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car (02)=1.54.727 / 3. Cadillac CIEN (02)=1.54.937 / 4. Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3 (02)=1.56.043 / 5. Ford GT (05)=1.56.715 / 6. if they will get Porsche and Lambo in the actual GT5, I hope they won't do same mistake as they did with the Ferrari California and few other cars. after all, California should be about 1750kg according most of the sources, yet in the game it has magically lost 300kg..

Too be fair the saleen S7 is a great American car. although its chassis and engine and looks and handeling have nothing to do with Saleen apart from its name. The S7 was desighned by RML racing team. I cant knock the S7 on anything rele. But saleen do have a habbit of taking a chasis from different manufacturers and just putting there own engines in it. Like the Saleen mustang (Barracade from Transformers movie) and the Saleen Nitrous Focus. Saleen are a great companey though, and they also built the Ford GT cars for Ford.
So no one can say that Saleen arnt a great American companey. I think what Moe Hamideh is trying to say is that there arnt maney decent American mass produced cars. Witch is kind of true. But America have alot of back street Tuning companeys that take these cars and make them amazing. AC, Saleen, BOSS, and a few others come to mined.
And Lamborghini are only just holding there heads above the water because they are owned by Audi now. Drive a Diablo or Contache and tell me they handle better than a Saleen! You cant but the newer more driver friendly Lambos are only like it as they have Audi holding there rains and making there AWD drive trains for them.
But as for Lamborghini being in GT5. I think that they will, after all Audi and VW are in it. I am sure VW and Audi would like to show off there new toys in GT5.

I was refering to the fact that Moe Hamideh, decided to mention that that Saleen where in money troubles. and saying that Lamborghini are now selling lots of cars. Hence mentioning that Laborghini are now owned by Audi. because? lamborghini went bust TWICE! if im not mistaken. Proving that his argument that saleen are bad and it shows on there sales,is total rubbish. when in fact Lamborghini have been in alot more trouble than Saleen ever have. And that the cars made by Lamborghini the Contache and the Diablo are terribal cars to drive, and the new "AUDI" era lambos are the ones that actualy drive nicely. And have nothing to do with American cars being bad as we have prooven they arnt.

It was coparing lamborghinis best cars. to that of Saleens. We all know the S7 would kill those cars in any sort of track, sprint, drag race or hill climb. He cant use the newer Audi era cars. So I was prooving that for him to compare Saleen with Lanborghini is wrong. as the sales made by lamborghini now are the product of Audi a German companey, and the hadeling and power of the new Lambos is also a result of Audi a German companey. And the Italian made supercars IE the Contache and the Diablo cant even come close to what he was calling a BAD car. witch was the Saleen.

Whats scary is the version above is not even the twin turbo version which is just scary fast. I hope that if GT does include Lambos they include some of the loonier concept cars like the Reventon and the Estoque. I think newer Lambos have lost that space ship mystique. Now they are just sports cars.

I never said they did, nor do I need to see you try to prove your point by spec-racing.
BTW, give a link for that 'Ring time. As far as I've read, no one has done an official time for the S7, esp. not the 550Bhp version.
If that were the case, we would have Ferrari in GT before GT5....

Yeah I see what you're saying about some of the new lambo's...however, I think the Murcielago is somewhat spaceship like in a sense, more so than the Gallardo. It's got a long body, a FAT exhaust tip, a crazy sweet sound, it's nearly flat and stuck to the ground, and it's very wide as well. Beautiful IMO 👍

Jota aftermarket exhaust? Haven't quite heard of such a thing considering Jota usually fits in with for-the-track racing products. But, if Al Burtoni can create a 6.0 Jota, I guess it's possible.-> ...
