I just tried that and it froze my PS3
Well, maybe I was not very kind, it was only a deal.
What I really miss in GT is the trading options of Forza, logos, liveries, car setups, etc., lots of things can ve sold, that's really cool, even some people only buy the game to paint or tune a car, they don't race at all.
Mitch, any opinion is respectable and if you think ride height is not wackbards that's fine with me, use whatever you think is faster for you, I'm only saying that some people in the tuning forum know nothing about tuning in GT, for example, I've seen there some tunes for this current Lancia TT that have basic errors, anything that is not a turbo stage 3, rom chip, racing muffler, all weight reductions and no oil change will make you slower, and I'm talking only about power and weight, but eh, everyone has the rights to be happy posting there whatever he wants.
When I download it just freezessry
When I try to watch it there it freezes but if I download and watch it in my gallery it works just fine
there must be sweet points for each car and not just a nose down ass up (if patched) or nose up ass down as in now
I doubt it would work for MR or FR as well if the car had a decent amount of power (and no SRF)... you'd get the benefit on the way in, but you'd likely lose it with exit traction losses... doesn't affect the Integrale as it's 4WD, so always has very good traction.
Anyway as I wait for file system to restore again, I thought I might as well ask this question. Anyone suffer from crashes when you load your own ghost? I beat my time again but it crashed on the finishing line requiring a restart and restore of file system.
Using brake Balance 10:10 with standard brakes, no ABS. It looks like it will be a struggle to beat Stotty in first corner, they are first impressions but personally I think it might be possible if I can improve braking balance but at the minute I'm going to concentrate on just getting more laps done so I know where and how I can make up the time.
I noticed other parts of lap I can make up potentially enough time to be ahead, just need to hope he doesn't improve and I improve a lot .

Just realised why I'm slow in first corner, it was due to not having aero kit, that has helped a lot. Think it will be hard to beat you still though but much closer to the line now. Do you have body rigidity thing mod done to your car?Just press 0 and you can avoid the restore 👍
Don't go too fast now
I think the Aero Kit helps with the front end of the car, I did my fastest first sector by more than half a tenth after installing it. Good to know you are not using rigidity improvement, saves me time trying it out. Only concern now is if you put the aero kit on and go even quicker .Aero kit? Mine's just a stock car... not changed any body work (or wheels).
I'm not using rigidity improvement 👍
Think whatever you like Mitch, but I'm afraid they are... as in GT5 before they patched it, either the ride height is transposed, or there's a major bug in the physics model. The Lancia has more rotation and less understeer with max front, min rear ride, which is clearly completely wrong from a real life perspective.
Ramon doesn't have a unique driving style. Of the top 10, Yinato, Bannami, Ron (MisterRon71) are all using the same high front low rear set up - not sure if other drivers are using it due to the bug that freezes your PS3 when you try and load a replay, but I would be confident that they are.
I'm using it too (though only in the top 20), and I sent my set up to WhoosierGirl to try the other night... her response after gaining a load of time with it was, I quote, "WOW!!!!"
It doesn't require any special or secret techniques to make the set up work
Others have identified it - @Bee_Bee9 and @beodo20vt both posted high front low rear set ups in this thread. If others haven't worked out it works yet it's either because they haven't tested it properly/at all, or they don't have the sensitivity to feel the effect.
A somewhat ironic suggestion given how many GT5 Seasonal threads you and Dalone turned in to pages of personal bickering
Ah yes, the 'expert' tuners
The words arse and elbow spring to mind
I took it off in the end, hard to know if it is placebo or not but first corner it seemed to help but other parts, it seemed to hinder especially in one of the corners. Also are you using racing brakes, tried it without ABS and it seems to lock all four wheels very easily which is not ideal when trying to go fast so kept with the stock ones.
* goes to install aero kit
