With GT6 just around the corner in a short couple of weeks, anything you guys are gonna finish up before it hits the shelves?

For me, im gonna try to finish most Endurance and B-Spec Events since i slack off on them.

I'll likely keep playing GT5 after GT6 comes out, but I plan to do some A-Spec Endurance races as well as buying and tuning cars. Last Endurance race I did was the A-Spec Mazda Roadster 4h race. I got about halfway through before suspending the race, then upon resuming had a glitch occur where I had no control whatsoever over the car. 20 mins left, and I'm out of gas AND tires AND lost the race.

I haven't played GT5 for the past month and that is because of the lack of things to be doing on the game. If you're playing GT5 then you are pretty much only playing it to either maintain your log in bonus or to try out seasonals that have been rinsed over and over again in my eyes.

Not true. I'm still playing doing the WRS TT's and also the Seasonal TT's, which are not rinsed over and over again. Also still playing to keep my skillset sharp. Even though the physics in GT6 will be different, it doesn't hurt to keep in good shape. 👍

The last couple of months, I've been strictly an online player in Nurburgring lobbies. Met some cool car people with great rides. There was a notice up last night in the News section on the games main screen about the Home and Photo feeds on the site saying that after November it'd be finito. At the end was an additional note that the status of all the other GT5 online services would be discussed at a future date. I get the feeling that the GT5 online life will be cut much shorter than I expected.

C'est la vie. Got a back log of about a dozen cars I'd like to finish tuning. Seems kinda irrelevant now that GT6 is here and online play is up in the air. But hey, good to get a tuned base line on models in GT5 and then eventually compare to GT6 results.

The last time when i put gt5 disc in was when i heard about standard enzo and f2007, so i buyed them and exited game...

I'm actually finishing grinding my way to a million miles driven. Sounds kind of pointless I know, but for me anyway, its an undone milestone. About half the miles are actually driven by me, the other half were used to break in cars, ect. I'll post my full game stats when I accomplish this last task, which is kinda like a race against time since I want to reach the million mile mark before GT6 comes out.

I've redone some license test, and have been doing some of the special events I skipped. Also been hot lapping and testing cars for future career events in gt6.

Yes, my F1 career with codemasters F1 game, I need to have that wrapped up before GT6 arrives! After Gt6 gets here I can tie up GT5 with the 24hr Nurb race, the only race I have not done...even though I have done LeMans three times.

I'm going to keep playing GT5 side by side with GT6 for a little while yet. I've accomplished too much in such a short time with 5 to completely shut it down. Too many cars to try and too many credits to spend. Plus I want to finish out the A-spec 24 hour enduros and the rest of B-spec first. I can more or less leave everything else in GT5 that doesn't interest me.

I'm anxious to start GT6, just not anxious to start all over from scratch AGAIN (for the fifth time since GT2). :)

Your profile has shown 999 999 km driven for a good while now. 👍 I'm assuming that's because there is a 6 figure cap? What's your actual mileage at the moment, Mitch?

I was going to say, a million miles is considerably more than a million kilometers. Both are a fair amount of driving nevertheless.

I've got 1 last online endurance race this Saturday then I'm retiring the game with my other GT games in the cupboard :)

All I have left to do on GT5 is the A-Spec 24 hours of Le Mans Endurance,
I was thinking maybe a Redbull X1 just so I can maybe do it in 14 hours of actual racing.

I started over again. Level 22 after 3 seasonals. All I have in the garage is the 370Z, '12 GT-R, 135i and 1series tii.

Yesterday I was doing solo laps in bone stock 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Special(standard) around Eiger Norwand. Just driving for the fun of it. Beautiful classic sports car on a beautiful and fun track. The true spirit of Gran Turismo. Perfect way to go out on GT5 I feel.

I want to set myself some real endurance racing challenges. Once they are done, I will go out and drive for the fun of it.

I've been giving away my cars and using my credits to buy people cars that they want. It's actually been very satisfying. It has made me think that when I reach the credit limit on GT6, I should pay more attention to the marketplace and help people get the cars they want. I'm not a big collector, so what else would I do with the money after I get the cars which I covet?

I just started playing again after being absent for almost a year & a half, my G27 died & I lost interest but it's fixed now so it's good to be back.

i am still missing two of the vettel challenge golds, suzuka and nurburgring, for platin. I thought I had given up but deep inside the wish to complete the game is still alve.

I wanted to rock the academy gtr around some tracks. Tried to add it to cart in psn store for 99 cents but it keeps saying error. Can people in Canada buy this?
