^I'm fairly sure that'll be a front row time. You've also managed to remove a few hours of my free time this weekend while I try and replicate that time. Congratulations.

Hard but not impossible!! 1:31.758 on line!!!!👍

:odd:

Looks like SpeedyMcQueen will be our next resident Alien!!!

 I hate to break it to you but I don't think we currently have any Aliens. Chase and I seem to be a tad faster than most of the group but I know in my past experience with my groups I am a solid mid-packer at best. I know a couple guys who could probably jump in there and do :31's or lower within a few laps. :nervous: But I'll say this, racing with those fast guys has made me a lot faster and a better driver than I ever was 2 years ago. 👍

And likewise, Racing with you, Chase and a the others has brought my pace on too... First race we did I was miles off, now i'm much better ;) 👍

Hobbsy nice avatar!

I've had a chance to practice this week and I'm almost to my goal for a hot lap. If I can get just a little faster and just a little more consistent I could possibly be a serious contender. I'm thinking that might be easier said than done though. I am looking forward to the race though.

My plan is to just try to keep it straight and keep touch with the leaders for the first 20 or so laps and then start getting serious close to the end. If I'm aggressive early and spin I'll never have a chance but if I can keep it straight and hold on to the draft I might have a chance. Patience will be of most importance.

I've often considered doing something like this, I'll be interested to see how it turns out. Unfortunately I'm still at work during race time.

Figured it would be the case with you guys across the pond. The concept should be really good, you can pick your car dependent on how competitive you need to be, so you can always have close racing regardless of skill level!

Thats unfortunate :guilty:, its half the battle trying to accomodate everthing. Weekends are already pretty busy too.

I hear ya. It's impossible to accommodate all the people all the time. Honestly I'm probably at max capacity on my racing calendar right now so no worries. 👍

hi all just messaging to let you no i shoud be racing with you tomorrow and hopefully it will be a great clean and fun race good luck all

Urgh, impromptu late-night practice session.

After about 45 minutes I squeeze out a 31.949. Slalom joins me and about 10 minutes later he's dropped a 31.777. I can't match in no matter what I do. Pole isn't going to be my place tomorrow and a race podium is going to be WELL earned I imagine!

It was nice to do a few laps with you chase, I got disconnected and I was going to have to get off shortly. I will see you guys tomorrow!

If it helps as far as the pace, I put in a good amount of practice this week. Probably a lot more than anyone did, and maybe more than I would want to admit.

It wasn't nice for me. I've given up on trying to get those 31.7's!

(Joking of course, always good to catch you on track ;))

I've practiced more for this race than any race in a long time, did another hour today and probably approaching 100 laps total. I was really caught out by the bumpiness and randomness of the track and wanted to build some good muscle memory and learn all the danger zones. I was consistently running from:32.5 to :33.2 and only had a few spins over 25+ laps so I feel like I have a better chance of surviving.

A couple times I was on pace to break into the :31's but would bobble in the final sector or something. I'm not too concerned about any single lap time though, this track is so variable that consistency is going to be more important than outright speed. My main goal will be to keep it pointed forwards for the first half of the race and go from there.
