Hmm i might be missing today's race cause i might have to babysit my nieces around the time of the start. If i do, someone make sure to save the race replay if its as epic as i expect it to be đź‘Ť

Hobbs will definitely make a very good job on this race's report.

I'm about to log on guys, won't be on the forums now. Good luck to everyone, with my pace I'm not going to be battling for a win here, and a day of over indulgence has left me somewhat groggy :P - that being said I'm looking forward to a damn good race! If we have problems with invisible cars there's a chance Hobbsy may take control of the room so make sure you're on before 10pm please! Also remember qually is only 15 minutes this week not 20.

Great racing chaps. I though for sure the track would bite me in the ass but it turned out to be lag spike that got me. That was a tough race for sure.

*Slalom was voted to be the actual winner.

That was some of the most grueling and intense racing I've experienced. This track really requires precision and care to go around it. And even some of the best drivers, myself included, can make mistakes. Congratulations to Slalom for the win, that was some crazy fast driving!!

I always get mass nervous when you're behind me Brandon! Did you take your pit-stop lap 16?

I stopped two laps after you. I planned to stop right after you so you couldn't get away but I had a massive moment in turn 2 and tried to use the draft of a lapped car to make up for it. Didn't work though. Then coming out of the pits I had a big lag spike and ended up in the grass, that was it for my chances.

I am curious what happened to my car on track once I experiences the lag or freezing. Hopefully I wasn't a rolling roadblock. A couple times in the race I got a slight lag or slowed frame rate for a split second. Once this one happened I was just frozen mid corner and I could t get out until a hard shutdown a minute later. Anyone know if that could have been lag related or if it was ps3 related? It is an old original fat ps3, but it hasn't had issues so far.
Once again another fun race. If it makes anyone feel better I really did a lot of practice this past week. Probably did 2.5 - 3 hours or close to it. I normally won't do that much but I had the chance and I will miss the next race.

You should log your experience here. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/gt6-gameplay-crashes-by-ps3-model.301885/page-2#post-9321484

When I saw you your car was parked on the side of the track on the hill before turn 10.

I think what happens is your car goes on a straight line till it smacks a wall. And it's not a problem on your PS3, it happened to me yesterday while racing on another series. I have a slim.

Looked to me like you had run out fuel, cruising really slowly. I passed with no issue. I think you were the clear victor today. Even when you had that moment and I closed in on you to 2 seconds you had extended that +4 seconds by the time you lagged out, had a look at best times and my 31.6 was still beaten by your 31.3. Don't think it's PS3 related ... I have an original 60gb model and it still runs just fine after silly years of use.

Talking of fuel, I was incredibly lucky to finish that race without draining the tank, I had at most 1/4 of a laps worth of juice left as i crossed the line.

I think my best was a 31.8. I didn't check the fuel at the end but I pitted a few laps past half way and had just under a half tank so I didn't take any fuel. Made it ok but might have been on fumes.

Yep 31.8. And no, surprisingly you had lots of fuel  even more strange is you didn't take on any fuel and I took on 5 litres?! There's probably a lot to deduce about our differing driving styles from this data.

I had a lot of half throttle and no throttle parts around the track. Could be all the rapid feathering of the throttle that happens with the controller. My tires seemed to be just fine too, probably coulda done the race without stopping.

Thanks for a fun race. I kept barely with the pace for 3-4 laps just behind a group of three. Torzilla spinned and I got passed him. Later I spinned and slided couple of times but managed to finish without causing mayhem for other racers.

Next time I will join more prepared!

I don't know what happened when I spun, I think either I had lag and it put me in the wall or someone around me lagged and hit me. It was a lot of fun the first few laps until that happened, hopefully Ill have better luck next weekend.

Sorry about that dumb move in qually Torzilla - I have no idea how I thought I was going to make that move stick, hopefully you weren't on a quick lap.

For quali, my selection panel froze (I could see everyone getting on track though), and couldnt select anything :boggled:
