Haven't tested yet, school has kept me busy. I'm interested in the times too. Should we test on dry or wet or both?

Up to you squire! I'm going to ask Brandon who for some reason seems to know all about stuff like this and ask him what weather changeability settings I need for 75% chance of rain at some point; so in that respect, yes, a few wet laps might prove beneficial!

I've never hosted a race with rain and have only participated in a handful so unfortunately I can't be of any help on this matter.

Laps have been set to 50 to provide 45 minutes racing guys, weather seems utterly random no matter how we set it! So that's just going to be a guessing game on the day - be prepared! Should provide some decent battling this track based on mine and Brandon's tussles this evening - just remember two wheels inside the white lines ;).

Ran a few laps in wets and drys. Dry average is 0:55s. On wet, about 1:00. Careful with the last hairpin on wet, don't spin out from too much throttle! And this track has some tricky breaking zones, recommend practicing your way around.

Got a 53.3 the other night. Seem to do alrite here for some reason, it's a good track for battling. Half tempted to put slipstream on strong to have some real pack racing but it might be a little late for that now.

Gotta love the rain ;).

53.3? I got a 54.2 by cutting the track, and slowing down a bit...

I bet there will be packs no matter what, because the slow corners are very tight, there will be some pushing there.

You say cutting track, you are allowed 2 wheels beyond the white lines - you know this right?

I was getting mid :54's but I think I found a new line through the first turn that should get me into the :53's........hopefully. Only a little bit of draft here and not many chances for overtaking but it's a very long race so patience will be rewarded. 👍

I dunno to be honest ... All corners are pretty low speed, passing may be hard, but I think you can battle pretty well here, we'll see I guess!

I'll probably only try to pass at the end of the straight and maybe the final turn, just try to stay close through the rest of the track. Unless opportunity presents itself of course. :sly:

Yup should be there next weekend. I don't know if ill get any practice, but should be there most likely. I also just realized I will miss the one after, but it will be for a real life driving event so I can't complain. And it will be with some fun cars too.

Absolutely can't complain. Can I ask what you're off to do? Heading for a track day or something?

Oh, and I don't think you really need any practice.

Had to google it, seems we got a genius amongst us - what subjects are you taking?
the AP class is for government, i was recommended an AP history class after doing great in my previous two years of High School (Currently in my third year). For this project i have to do a 1 paragraph biography on 10 Supreme Court Judges.

Nice, I'd comment with something intelligent but my collective knowledge of US Supreme Court Judges comes from a Politics A-Level I took many years ago and I can't remember anything from, other than the president appoints them or something, and they stay there for life. Actually the Daily Show with Jon Stewart might have taught me that.

The Daily Show will tell you all you need to know about 'Merican politics. 👍

I still think it's mad you guys have two main parties and, well, that's it! And how a successful campaign relies a lot on money for advertising - got to say I'm not a big fan. Not that I'm a fan of our political systems here either so no offense intended.

For the record I just really like Jon Stewart, guys hilarious, I think he could make a show about the development of rope making techniques in Suriname from the years 1694-1711 and it would still be funny some how.

Only having two parties is ridiculous and leads to a lot of problems. You wouldn't build a table with only two legs........:odd:

Stewart is brilliant, he needs to be president. Do you guys get Colbert too? Just as good.

Anywho, see you on track shortly!

Room is up in 5 people! (Sorry, fully got side-tracked!)

Good luck all!
Chase, ill be helping out at an exotic autocross. It's a little different than a normal autocross event, instead of people running their own cars and having timed competition this one has some ferraris and lamborghinis that people get to come out and drive a few fast pace laps around the setup course with an instructor in car or can do a ride along with an instructor. It's been pretty fun, I get to ride around in some cool cars and most importantly I get a little time behind the wheel too.
