Good luck all!
Chase, ill be helping out at an exotic autocross. It's a little different than a normal autocross event, instead of people running their own cars and having timed competition this one has some ferraris and lamborghinis that people get to come out and drive a few fast pace laps around the setup course with an instructor in car or can do a ride along with an instructor. It's been pretty fun, I get to ride around in some cool cars and most importantly I get a little time behind the wheel too.

The people who own those cars must be very nice, absolutely no way I'd let anyone rag my car around a track - and what I drive doesn't cost anything like a Ferrari does 0_0. Sounds like that will be some real fun right there, grab a few pics if you can ;).

Thanks, It was fun race. Bit nervous at the beginning missing few brake points, but "Bond" was nice enough to wait for me :)

Then it was, I do not know how many laps, matter of me chasing him and gaining in the slow corners and then him running away at the long straight, rinse and repeat. There is something obvious that I am missing in that last corner before the long straight...

I had 3 goals for this race: Finish, No spins, Improve. I think, I achieved at least the first two :)

Or perhaps it was because i had the widest rocket on thw grid :D

Once you go wide......

Greetings all. Is the grid filled for next week at brands? If not, I'd love to enter. I really enjoy the stock rocket and will be free without problems next Sunday night. I will follow OPers protocol for entering once I get off work, unless I hear from him on here first. Parker

Sure can, we could use a few more regulars to be honest! Just send us an add on PSN, we normally do a practice session on Wednesdays around 10/11pm GMT so you can join us then if you want (though it's certainly not mandatory!).

Think you achieved all three!

McChase and I were in the mid :49's last night. But my consistency is rubbish at this track because every third lap or so my Rocket decides it wants to take a siesta in the sands outside of Clark Corner. :banghead: I plan on stopping by the track Sunday morning to leave a bottle of wine and a picnic lunch out there so I can at least have a drink and a snack while I'm digging my car out from the beach.

*practice. No, not yet. I know it's British spelling.

And being as English is the language of England then it is also the CORRECT spelling :P.

The fast penultimate turn is rewarding to get sweet, but I've got to agree with you on the final corner, it's hard to get the power down and even pick a half decent line - I imagine worn tires are going to be a nightmare here.

That being said if you're familiar with Brands then the Indy circuit is 90% the same so there shouldn't be a HUGE learning curve.

I can do pretty well on Brands, especially after learning the first corner. I feel like I can keep up better with the front pack on this one.

It's probably my favorite track on GT, I've put a lot of hours in here so I'm dubiously confident too. I'm looking forward to it!

^^^ Practise or Practice...!

Unfortuately we use both in ye olde England... so which is correct the Verb or the Noun???

On topic, brands looks set to be fun;)
