Can you share tunings for the CLK? My lowest is only 1:39, which I'm sure in part is due to my mediocre driving skills. LOL!

To turbo or not to turbo that is the question. Should add acceleration but also weight due to ballast which means more tire wear and fuel burn. Anyone have thoughts?
Just posted it above 😁

Keep it stock, hard tyres, ecu at 91 and 50Kg of ballast. Comes in at 799.95PP and I'm hitting 1:35 on a good lap, regularly in the 1:36's.

Edit: FM1 is good for 6 laps, no need to change tyres. Running a 2 stop is around 25:15.xxx for me on a good run.

That's sounds good, quite fast indeed, no trouble with understeer at default?

It has some understeer, yeah, but you can push through it. This car loves you being on the throttle mid corner, really keeps the front end in check.

First corner is a good example. I break down to 70 (MPH), let it float into the apex at 65 turning in earlier than what you might expect. But once you hit the apex, get straight back on the throttle and it just pulls out so nice. Let it run to the edge of the track on exit and you'll get amazing acceleration down to the next braking zone.

One thing I will say, is keep it off those small curbs, like the one at turn 1. Kiss it, but don't go over it, really upsets the balance of the car.

Thanks for the info, definitely going to try that out and re-stock the CLK, if 1:35 is possible that understeer is clearly manageable, maby I just have to get used to it and changed te setup to soon 😀

I did try playing with the setup myself, adding a little front wing etc, but found stock settings suited my driving style better.
DS4 user. I’m not experiencing the understeer being mentioned. I’ve left everyth8ng stock save the RH and detuned power. I drive TCS off and ABS on. Using cockpit view. Car feels perfect.
DualSense for me, there is definitely some understeer at times, at least for me. I'm positive it's down to the aero as well, I can take a corner a little slower than usual and understeer all over the place, but push past it and take a little more speed into the apex and the aero does its job and offers up the grip I usually expect from it.

But I'm with you on the feel of the car, it's a fantastic drive!

Looks like nothing new today but GT40 and Miura freshly sold out, so we'll be getting 2 new cars tomorrow

I’ve got enough for the Fina F1 and just bought the Diablo(been holding off for the longest) in the UCD. I should try saving for the 917. Just in case we get the 512, at least I’ll then have its rival waiting in my garage.

Not the best example, I was tired when I got in from work at 5:30 this morning, but....

Yes, it's a 1:35.9 (I had 4 laps within 3 or 4 thousandth of this 😡), but like I said, I was tired 😂. My optimal lap that run was 1:35.4, which is about where I'm usually at on a good run, just couldn't put a whole lap together this morning.

The first sector is my most inconsistent.

Edit: Also just discovered I was nearly 20 BHP down cause I haven't changed the oil in a while. I'll have another go later now I'm back on the 545 it should be 🤷‍♂️

I just made a new tuning sheet for default and I can't believe how it drives, I'm positive i did not like the car before, but with that ecu down and 50kg added it absolutely rockets..
And the understeer I was talking about??, it almost isn't there anymore?? 😕, it drives like a dream.

Did 2 time sardegna this morning before work, 1:36's and had 2 1:35 highs, that was without traffic and absolutely hammering it, and nailing my arch enemy turn 10 (I believe), still figuring out if it faster in 4th or 5th 😄

But this was a real eye opener @Comat0sed
Thanks 😊

You're welcome, happy someone else likes it. It was nothing more than a quick dirty tune to start with, think I started at 60kg ballast and tweaked the ecu and ballast balance till I settled on this. It's damn good at the 1 hour Spa tuned like this as well.

I know the turn you're on about. Dab on the breaks down to 4th, turn in at around 125, apex at 120 (when you nail it) then absolutely floor the throttle praying you got the line right and aren't going to run wide on the exit. Probably one of my favourite most frustrating corners 😂

If everything goes as expected these are the next 4 cars coming in:
Ferrari 365 GTB4 - 550k+
Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W194) - 11M+
Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 - 1M+
BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car - 9.5M+

No. It just takes longer to find your PS compared to when your device and console are on the same network.
ohmy...... i always thought you have to be on the same network, i just tried it........., it works!,

thanks dude! :lol::lol::lol:

I'm def adding the Ferrari 365 GTB4 and the F1 GTR to the garage!
i'm curious how that F1 drives compared to the CLK

So will I. I wish PD would delay the 300sl by a few days and put a cheaper car in its place. So I can farm back some money.

True, i don't know if I will buy the 300SL, i mean it's beautiful, but i doubt i'm going to drive it alot, so i think i'll pass it for now, collect the few cars that i still want and then farm for the rest :-)
11 mil is still alot of laps to grind lol

I don't own that many racing cars yet but, the CLK LM doesn't come with a fully customisable racing transmission... is that normal for these cars?

Of all four Gr.3 cars I've been using for Sardegna the last few days none of them have a fully customizable racing transmission, so I can only assume it's commonplace.

Don't you have to be on the same network to acces the PS?, i smell oppertunity here :-)
If you are going to use Remote Play, make sure you try it with whatever device(s) you are going to use while on your home network first. It would not work for me outside the house on any device I tried it on if I had not done it on my home network first.

Well I've let the Miura and the Ford GT40 Mk 1 go for a second time, my main focus right now is to get the other McLaren F1 (Fina) and the 250 GTO, I will buy the others in due course if they happen to be up when I am playing.

Not that I am completely 'fed up' of the daily grind but having been doing it solid for the past 2 weeks time for a change. as I have the money for those two so after that I will pace myself a bit better!
