So will I. I wish PD would delay the 300sl by a few days and put a cheaper car in its place. So I can farm back some money.
300SL is the last expensive car that I need to buy (I'm not gonna farm for the 20m museum pieces, if at some point I get them naturally, then I get them. If not, no loss there). So on one hand I wish that the 300SL would move back so I don't have to grind as hard. On the other hand, maybe let's just suffer through the painful grind now and move on.

Dude, yesterday came the 1938 20M alfa romeo, tomorrow and the day after its the 11M 300sl and 9,5M mclaren, and the 20M ferrari 250gto is coming in the next days after. Its just too many expensive cars in short time. I only wanted a bit of spacing so people can farm back some money

Yeah I know how you feel man. When the road McLaren and 917K showed up, that was a painful grind. I feel like they do it on purpose to force people into spending real $$. Plus with the tomahawk now gone, getting cash is getting so much harder. I counted it up, you made roughly 66.6% more doing Tokyo than Sardegna now. So you're working almost twice as hard for the credits now.

Keep it stock, hard tyres, ecu at 91 and 50Kg of ballast. Comes in at 799.95PP and I'm hitting 1:35 on a good lap, regularly in the 1:36's.

Edit: FM1 is good for 6 laps, no need to change tyres. Running a 2 stop is around 25:15.xxx for me on a good run.
Where is the ballast positioned?

Buy the clk, and you can use it to farm sardegna 800pp, spa 1h and le mans 700pp and then you can buy the berlinetta. Its kinda useless, but who cares lol. I got it and now its farming time to get those 20M back. I hope they dont throw another one like this in the next days (witch they probably will).
I skipped the Alfa when it first came out. I want to get another 250 GTO so I can keep it at its standard width, idk if I’m gonna get the Alfa this time around.

Any predictions on when we'll see the 917K again? I've nearly saved enough now but that CLK is tempting - don't want to splash the cash and miss the 917K again because I'm short of coin.
Since it just came out it’ll probably be a while before it comes back.

Yeah, I’m sure players can do one million a day, for the next 20 days. Even if that’s in addition to building Cr for other cars. It’s hard though. I keep building cars and poof, three million disappears.

Exactly. I'm distracted by building fantasy grids with affordable cars.

We've known they were coming though. I've been sitting on a 60mil "savings" for months where I've refused to spend below that point as I knew I had the Alfa 8c, 300SL W194, 250 GTO, and duplicate/tuner copies of the 365 GTB, Boss 429, 2000GT, and Cobra all within a 10-15 day period.

I get what you're saying, but the data compilations from @Samus and @Eggstor showing initial/projected drop dates, prices, and inflation pricing was posted for a reason. Yeah, it would have been less cruel for PD to spread the 10-20mil cred cars out, but it is what it is and we've known this was coming for a month or longer.

Edit: For anyone considering buying the 300SL (W194) it has almost no tuning ability. Race transmission and tires. No ability to add power; I knew it wouldn't have a turbo/SC option but thought it might have port polish/engine balance/etc. Really wish we had an hour grace period, as I'd get my credits back if I could.

I'm on the "by the end of the year, if I'm still playing" plan for all LCD cars. I'm working bottom up on pricing. I'm still working on the under 10M cars. A few to go before I break out the stupid credits. I'll probably focus more on the Brand Central cars after I get the 787B. I'm sure by now most everyone has 100% UCD. I usually gain 1M a day so I'm in no hurry. I threw away my rubberbands and just run races I want to so long as they payout 80K or better.

Yeah, I only lazily do 1 or 2 WTC700 Le Mans a day now just to get the daily workout and get the 1,6 mill. Just need the CLK, F40 and the 240Z. The 20 mil cars can scram from my garage. Not interested in the 13 mil 300SL too. Guess that's it for my LCD wishlist!

Dang, that bad? Well, now that's a tough choice. I'm on pace to have all the LCD cars outside of the 20m whales once the Jag? from the 50s shows up but if it's a stinker for 13m, that's a tough pill to swallow. Where can you even race a 450pp race car?

Keep going. The next cars will be these probably:

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe '54 | (Correct)

Aston Martin DB3S '53 | (Correct)

AMG CLK-LM '98 | (Correct)

Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta '38 | (Correct)

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W194) '52 | (Correct)

BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97 | 9,500,000 Cr.

Ferrari 250 GTO '62 | 20,000,000 Cr.

I have pretty much all of the Legend cars I want except for a second F40 and a 3rd F1 GTR Longtail so I can have the 1998 FIA GT1, 1997 FIA GT1 and 1998 EMI British GT Championship liveries in one race.

Hate how we cannot add weight reduction to the 911 GT1 as it would be as competitive as the F40 IMO as that car is right under Gr.2 as far as performance when fully modified but due to the 911 GT1 having over 500+lbs over the Gr.2 cars it does not handle as well.

I'm sort of in a weird spot right now with my car collection. I started playing the game roughly six weeks after official launch which means I've missed most cars that were in the LCD cycle in March-April and also part of the window where Tomahawk grinding was still viable. I also decided at the outset that going for the full car collection would not be worth the time investment and decided to limit my collection to cars that I'd actually enjoy driving and are at least somewhat usable ingame. Basically this means excluding the expensive classics from the 60's and 70's and focusing on the more modern road and race cars from 80's onwards.

Anyway, the reason all of this leaves me in a odd situation is that once I purchase the upcoming FINA F1, I will have spent roughly 100 mill on my collection out of which almost half will have gone to three different versions of the F1 which frankly seems ridiculous. Already having the road car and the Kokusai Kaihatsu versions I'd rather just give the FINA a pass and burn my hard earned credits in Brand Central for the sake of diversity but then again it seems to be the best handling version of the three in no small part due to its aero so I guess I just need to pay up despite the eye-watering price tag.

The Gr.2 version is BY FAR the best out of the three, and it's not even close

You're welcome, happy someone else likes it. It was nothing more than a quick dirty tune to start with, think I started at 60kg ballast and tweaked the ecu and ballast balance till I settled on this. It's damn good at the 1 hour Spa tuned like this as well.

I know the turn you're on about. Dab on the breaks down to 4th, turn in at around 125, apex at 120 (when you nail it) then absolutely floor the throttle praying you got the line right and aren't going to run wide on the exit. Probably one of my favourite most frustrating corners 😂
I tried putting the low RPM turbo on it, just some ballast/ECU tweaking and that has some serious potential also, you def have some extra HP on the lower end ofcours so the understeer slightly uppens, you realy have to work turn 6 to find the apex, but did 2 stops, with the first stint on FM2 , 1:36's, shift at around 8000RPM keeps the turbo spooled and very efficient for the fuel, pit end of lap 8, then you have 6 full laps to work to your first 1:34..... ,almost had it if it wasn't for my arch enemy...... but watch the tires on the last laps on slow corners when the boost hits

I might have to give that a try. I'll just setup another settings sheet and see what I think of it. Cheers.

So if the predictions are correct I am guessing the next cars for tonight's dealer update will possibly be the McLaren F1 Fina and the 250 GTO or will something else come before the GTO as was not expecting that until next week...

Mclaren f1 fina and peugeot 205 turbo rally will suposelly be the 2 coming tomorrow, but you never know with PD. They already altered things in the past, like with F40 and CLK lm

Fingers crossed for the 250 GTO tomorrow!

Watch now as the 250 GTO fails to show up in much the same way that the F40 did!
I've been manually grinding credits since the game launched and I've only now reached the point of having (nearly) everything. Sadly the AFK thing didn't work for me - so Tomahawk/Tokyo followed by GR010/Sardegna have been the best options.
There were times, I'll admit, when those two vertical shadows on the cliff face you see in the distance on Sardegna looked like enormous mouths gaping in pity and horror as I shot towards and then away from them for the several-hundredth time.
Perhaps after this there'll be some brief respite till new 20m cars start to show up at Hagarty's...
